Love it! Good location, easy parking, and truly great productions! "Edward Tulane" is a must see!
Was nice once we were able to find the venue and eventually find parking! The theatre is a bit cramped & small but it was ok. The show made it worth while!
Saw "Hands of Color" and thought it was phenomenal. The theater is small so they're isn't a bad seat in the place and the staff was personable and super helpful. We visited on Wednesday so it was pay what you can night, which is a donation to the theater. I really do think they used the stage and lighting in a way that maximized the side of the stage allowing them to tell more of the story. I'm not sure if this was the product of the theater or the producer. Either way, it was quite impressive.
I will definitely be back to see anything on production.
Loved it. The Hero's Wife was an excellent play. Quite intense.
My wife and I were attending an improv show as part of the Atlanta Science Festival and found this gem of a theater hidden away. It is a small intimate venue but seems well equipped and well located. The street parking is free after 7, and there is a large parking garage next door.
A wonderful venue with outstanding actors. Highly recommend!
"Smart. Gutsy. Bold." The performances put on by the Synchronicity Theater are amazing, and they make you think; they make you acknowledge things you aren't thinking about; they push you to have conversations and explore thoughts that you may not discuss with others on a regular basis.
This year (2019) I was able to see "Hands of Color", a play about living in the shoes of a person of another race, and it was so moving, emotional, and thought provoking in today's society.
In 2017, I saw Danai Gurira's "Eclipsed", which was about war in Liberia from the lens of a the women, which was powerful and eye-opening to the history of the Second Liberian Civil War.
My first experience with Synchronicity was seeing "Lasso of Truth" in 2014, which was an empowering backstory of the creation and impact of Wonder Woman.
Small and quaint Theatre with quality performances.
We love this theater. The cast brings a wonderful energy to the performance. Ella was wonderful, and we enjoyed the Hobbit as well!
Nice small theater facility. However, the pitch of the seating in the theater is too shallow. I had difficulty finding a seat to view the show without being blocked by someone's head. I am not vertically challenged.
Amazing show and an amazing space. Bold local theatre like this is a rare and beautiful gift. Appreciate and nurture it, so go!
This is my second time here. The actors and works I have seen are always awesome!
Great space.Poor AC.Its Atlanta in the summer.Crank it up!!
I had never heard of this theater before my friend asked me to come see a show with her that her dad had worked on. The acting was wonderful, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Across the way was a delightful restaurant, and they provided some high quality food after the show. The only complaint I could wage is that it was a bit cramped, but that's to be expected from Black Box theater. All in all an excellent experience!
The plays all feature women and are relevant to current issues. Easy to park and buy tickets online. Top notch acting, directing and production.
We went to see Frog and Toad last night, a children s play. Even though the play and theater were great, we were consistently harassed by a lady seating In the row behind us for the very fact of been there with kids, (well behaved kids) I am not sure how to continue supporting this venue if there is such a problem to go with kids to see a children s play. The artistic director answer was kind of weak but I am giving her the benefit of the doubt that she was assimilating the situation. I just wonder how this theater will handle situations like this in the future since one of this theater mantas is to reach and even sponsor kids to have the opportunity to see a play, but in the meantime an adult patron dedicates her time to harras kids and parents. Disappointed to say the least.
Fun evening taking the kid to see Frog and Toad. Very professional and high quality. More than I was expecting from a "kids musical". Nice theater. Small - probably around 100 people capacity.
Wonderful venue, high production quality, consistent history and herstory of really entertaining, transformative theater, eateries nearby , good parking, pleasant surroundings
Intimate, cozy black box theater. Sitting on the right side of the theater was a bit cold (air vents blow directly on the right half of the 3rd row. If your cold natured don't sit there) but overall enjoyable. Was nice beer and wine were available and could be consumed in the theater during the show. It also conveniently shares a lobby with Tavern Pointe, a excellent gastro pub.
Smart. Gutsy. Bold. and creative, dynamic, moving, inspiring.
Super stage and professional actors. The seats were comphy and the stage was wide. A great venue on the small side with about 250 seats.
Seats not very comfortable to me. But good view from any seat.
What a wonderful theater. Every play they produce is amazing.
Hands down, the best place to see fully realized theatre art in Atlanta!
Great little local theater. Blast-Off Burlesque performs here regularly, always a fun show. Good sound. Many restaurants nearby.
Very high production values and top ATL talent telling important stories. Customer focused front of house staff.
Bob Marley's Three Little Birds is great for families. I never knew a theater was in this building. I will definitely be on the lookout for more plays at this location.
What a wonderful experience every time for the little ones and adults alike!
The cast in the play we attended was amazing. I highly recommend this theatre.
It is small and cozy feeling. I wish the seats had more distance between the rows. I couldn't see above the person in front of me
Small community theater in mid town. Check site for up coming performances & screenings.
The Three Little Birds Play was awesome. We truly enjoyed ourselves. The theatre is amazing reminds you of real theatre not commercialized. We will definitely go back there.
Enjoy volunteering with AARP serving cookies, hot chocolate & milk
A good little theatre. The bathrooms are not on the same floor. There is an elevator.
Great energy, always fun and entertaining for both children and adults. Highly recommend it!
This is the third show I've seen at Synchronicity--I'm continually impressed with the quality of acting and the production. The theater is located in an office building in midtown, which is kind of a weird place, but it's next door to Tavern Pointe, so there's a convenient dinner and drinks spot, pre or post show. Capacity is small, but that adds to the intimate cabaret feel.
Great cozy venue with parking validated. The performance gripping as the energy AND passion throughout the show kept me smiling and wanting more.
Intimate theartre atmosphere for a small audience of about 200
A beautiful, intimate performing arts experience. Never fails to be a good time.
Really nice and cozy theater! Enjoyed the show...Moving in the Spirit
Great intimate theatre with topical productions and talented performers.
I love synchronicity theater! It's intimate size and self seating give you just the right type of atmosphere. The restaurant TavernPointe is right across the hall, which is a great place to grab a bite to eat also! Definitely check this theatre out!
I saw a great production of The Hobbit with my daughter!
The theatre was intimate and great for screening documentaries and movies. Service was superb!
Intimate downtown theatre with high quality production.
Wonderful! Amazing children s theater performances. The sets and costumes were organic and magical. The actors were amazing! Our 1st grade students LOVED Frog and Toad so much.
