Went to see Patti Smith speak for One Book One New York 2019. The ushers were knowledgeable and courteous. The seats packed VERY tight so I was glad I was the 3rd seat from the aisle.

Clean bathrooms. Clean floors. Good views even though I was sitting in the back (row R) and I was able to see Ms. Smith without craning my neck and the acoustics were good. What more can you want from a performance venue?

Hey brah! I go here every year for my annual Warren Miller ski season kick off movie in November! Great place! Little bar/snack area to pre-game a bit before seeing some tubular shredding!! Woo Jackson Hole! Kinda bummer that it gets so cramped in the theater area (where they squeeze all the sponsor tables). Also. Hint: Dont tell anyone. But there is a bathroom near the snack bar in the lower level that doesn t get so un-awesomely crowded.

There are a few theaters in this building. We went to the one downstairs. It is a more compact theater but not tiny. The stage is a decent size - the dance troupe was able to perform no problem. There is a lighting booth and dressing rooms in the wings. There is an exit that leads directly outside.

Oklahoma-Sing Along.
Sooo much fun.
The room has a great sound system and there is not a 'bad seat' in the house.

Went to see Fally Ipupa preform live here. It has an awesome and kind staff. The balcony seats are great, in my opinion, for viewing the stage unobstructed. They have a bar (Bar Thalia) down stairs and a smaller that closes early on the same floor as the stage. The Symphony Space is conveniently located at the 96th Stop of the 1, 2, 3 train.

I was happy leaving the house tonight with my husband to attend and support my friend, the founder of the Strawberry One-Act Festival, when the rude and condescending ticket/door woman ruined the night for us. She impatiently yelled at me just because my phone screen was not bright enough for her to scan.

"Turn the screen brighter! Brighter!!! Brighter!!!!!!" She yelled to my face as if I don't understand English.

I paid less money to see shows at the Carnegie Hall and yet the workers are much more pleasant and accommodating.

I dragged my husband after the first play because all I could think of was the nasty woman at the door. She ruined the whole experience for me.

It was my first time at the Symphony Space and I'm never coming back!

We went to see Emeline Michel perform and it was great! We sat in orchestra row K, in the aisle and we could see the stage very well. The seats were comfortable and there was plenty of legroom for most. The sound and lighting was perfect and didn't disappoint... just wish the show was a little longer!

Cute theatre space. Not too big, so feels small and intimate. The chairs are just moderately comfortable, if we had attended a show that was over 2 hours, it might have been too long for those seats. Otherwise, perfect for an enjoyable and intimate show. Plus, there are plenty of food options within one block of the theatre AND the subway is right across the street - both of which make this a very convenient location for a fun night out.
