Love this local theater and their inventive productions! I've seen mostly comedy, and it was great, but I'd like to see more!

Attended an event with my child. The theater is on the smaller side compared to others. The seats are comfortable and offers enough leg space. The mezzanine seats offer Good viewing from both sides. Food and beverages are not allowed. Bathrooms are clean. Offers a variety of events and shows for all ages.
1,2,3 station very close (less than a block).
Excellent place, excellent attention
I recommend it
Thank you !!!!!
Beautiful Space. With a long history of community-building events. Comfortable seating on main floor and balconies offer very good view of stage in most cases.
Beautiful Arts space.. I was impressed with this best kept secret..
I saw Man of The House Produced and Directed by Andre Davis.. Wonderful experience..
WENT TO THE MOUNTAIN FILM FESTIVAL, IT WAS GREAT AND INSPIRING,, ALWAYS REALLY GREAT SHOWS THERE.
Nice nice venue. Unique programming. Good value. I should go here more often since it's near my work.
Always great to step foot in such a great and beautiful theater space and an honor to have been the guest speaker for Unity of NY the Sunday before Thanksgiving
The Education department here is second to none. They offer a program called All Write! to Adult Learners to enhance Literacy leaening. I love the fact that I applied and received acceptance into this program. I look forward to seeing the actors, working with other Educators, gaining exposure to intricate litetary pieces..The building is literally right in front of the train station. You cant miss it.
My Spiritual Center meets here. Wonderful atmosphere. Easily accessible with elevator on ground floor and near an Express stop on the subway.
I have been coming here for the Banff and Reel Rock film festivals for 2 years now. And it's always fantastic! The space is large and we'll laid out, with good views from all seats. It's clean and we'll kept with friendly staff.
Drinks and food depend on the events so I can't really comment too much.
I would say that I would be happy to see a performance here any time.
Cool venue with some really interesting events. Also a cool book swap/sale once a week
I loved the atmosphere. My kids had a great time along with my colleagues.
Symphony Space is a block away from the 95th street subway station. The cafe / bar is located below street level, and restrooms are on the same floor. In terms of offerings, Symphony Space offers Selected Shorts readings, concerts, movies and various other performances. The venue is cozy and welcoming, I would visit this performing arts center again.
Had a great time with the family. Great job by the I.S.O. Orchestra(s).
Symphony Space is a wonderful multi-use space that hosts everything from film to author talks to musical performances. Watch for their curated film series (Kurasawa, John Hughes, Charlie Chaplin) and other special events. Their Thalia Cafe is also a good place to go for Happy Hour if you're in the neighborhood.
Beautiful Theater to see artists very close to the stage
Really first rate theatre, nice sound system and chairs. Attentive staff.
The downstairs theater is intimate without being too cheap, and the bar next door is great for small local shows and open mic nights.
They bring in great shows you can't find elsewhere.
Great venue and had a fantastic time at the Agatha Christie short story reading. Hugh Dancy was unbelievable. As in perfect.
A nice space! I attended a Unity of New York church service there.
It was an amazing show with a cool but different culture. It was very exotic and it was also a nice learning experience. Visit anytime
Good space and comfortable seating. I've come here twice to see Asase Yaa and had a really good time. I wish there was a changing table in the bathroom but other than that I can't complain.
I visit this location on Sundays for church.
Unity NYC is the best place to go and receive powerful words that are invigorating to the soul.
Very huge and nice for doing an event or production
Really beautiful presentation from the Irish Arts Center
I wish the drink choices were better, but everything was nice. Really enjoyed my first visit.
Nice venue for a concert. Good acoustics. Seats are comfy with a lot of legroom, a rarity for a theater in Manhattan. Garage across the street is run by Icon, with typical NYC usurious rates, we paid fifty bucks for 3 hours. If you can use mass transit to this location, the 1, 2, and 3 trains have a stop for 96th St right outside the theater. Recommended.
The Mayor's 2019 speech happened here, and I was fortunate enough to be a part of it, and I'll never forget the experience. It was riveting! The hall was an historic experience in it self.
Repairs are needed but a nice location and placre to enjoy an activity
Nice theater but way too hot. Great location near convenient parking.
I go here every Sunday for Spiritual service with Unity of New York. Always uplifting. Go on first Sundays to see Carlos Anderson preach.
Loved the Capitol Steps! The theater hosts a broad variety of cultural events and is working hard to diversify its offerings.
Nice clean small theater employees were very nice as well
It's a comfortable venue for its smaller type events.
Selected Shorts is a pure joy and if you're under thirty there is a huge discount
Staff really took care of things and made sure green room was stocked
Great place with great shows. No bad seats in the house.
They have some excellent events, and the seats are such that it is easy to see from anywhere.
I am pretty tall (5'10") and my knees did not even graze the seat in front of me. I am a women's size 16/18 and the seat was wide enough that I didn't even think about it until I'd left.
The NIGHTS were fabulous, the theater small, the important thing was the warmth of my people, in the end very bad organization to take the photos.
