I have been a patient of Dr. Cass for 18 months. I had a bad fall hiking and smashed my elbow into multiple pieces. North Shore Hospital said there was only one man for the job and that was Dr. Cass. I have now had 2 operations - the first to piece my elbow together with lots of metal, the second, a year later, to remove most of the metal. Dr. Cass and his team have been amazing. Not only is he a highly skilled surgeon but also a fantastic communicator, he really listens and cares. His team are also fantastic. Warm, efficient and responsive. I cannot recommend them all highly enough. Thank you.

Dr Cass operated on my right shoulder in 2014. My shoulder had multiple issues, with a high level of complexity . Dr Cass s work was nothing short of outstanding. It took a good 9-12 months before I could say it was back to normal. This was due to the severity of the trauma he needed to repair. But the hard work during the rehab stage with physio, certainly paid off. The results have been amazing. I can do everything I could do prior to injury, except pitch a baseball, but I can still throw at least.
Early this year, Dr Cass repaired a catastrophic tear to my left shoulder. And again, his detailed workmanship with his surgical tools, have given me a fantastic result.
My mum also has had her shoulder operated on by Dr Cass, and has also been a success.
I rate Dr Cass as,
- a lovely guy, very friendly, a good communicator, and very importantly, a good listener.
- his team also should be mentioned. They run a very smooth and precise operation, and are across every detail. This gives a great feeling of confidence to a patient.
- surgically,,,,, second to none. He is No.1

Dr Cass operated on my shoulder 8 years ago. The shoulder has been great! Now I have to see him about my other shoulder.

Originally saw Dr Cass for large rotor cuff tear and as it would happen had an accident to that shoulder before anything was completed. Dr case performed major shoulder surgery and through out the entire process it has been handled professionally and successfully, it was reassuring that throughout this process everyone I came in contact with i.e. all hospital and medical staff said that I was lucky that Dr Cass was my doctor as he was the absolute guru.
Finally, he is a bloody good guy.

Dr. Cass is a talented surgeon and an excellent medical communicator.
