Nice patio area and on the hip and airy side in a good way. They offer some great drinks and food is fresh and tasty. The setting is great, and right across from the Central light rail that extends to Tempe and even Mesa. Nice for a small get together, lunch, or perhaps dinner (I have not tried dinner yet!).

Absolutely love coming eating at switch. From the outside, it doesn't look particularly different from any restaurant but the food is to die for. Their Thai tacos are some of the best tacos I've ever had, their cocktails are delicious, their waitstaff are incredibly nice people, and the food is not only tasty but Instagram worthy. Great for a date or anniversary if you want something a little more laid-back and casual. They also do events and their small bites spread was a hit when my family had an event.

The food here was solid. A little bit of a wait to get it, but it s always worth waiting when the food is quality. My only complaint is the selection of music. This place has a somewhat classy/hip vibe to it, but the music made me feel like I was in a dance club. Play some funky jazz or something similar and I would give it five stars!

Switch is a low-key restaurant and bar in midtown Phoenix that serves American classics and twists on comfort food. Shrimp n Grits, Quiche piled high with meats and veggies, Thanksgiving dinner, burgers and fries...it's all there.
I had the Very Berry Turkey as a salad. The greens and fruit were fresh and tart, and I got plenty of Turkey under a good coating of aioli and raspberry jam. The apple-cinammon mule and April spritzer were served up promptly by our cool bartender.
On nice/chill days, there's a patio out back with heaters and this tree of lights.

I enjoyed a grilled chicken pita with a sweet dragon sauce. It was too big to try and eat as a sandwich so I had to eat half of filling then pick up the rest. Delicious!! I had dragon sauce on the side and really did not need it. The salad with grilled chicken was fine on its own. The curly fries were also a hit - thick wedges with a great seasoning. We will definitely return. We stopped at Switch for dinner and returned again for more. The menu is sort of southern inspired with a modern twist. The staff is friendly and the place has a young vibe but isn t off putting for older guests.

Yummy foods. I start work there 3 weeks ago and they make everything fresh. High recommend. They WILL work with Vegan and Vegetarian upon request. Like they did sub for big texas BLT sub to Avacado for bacons. Also they have veggie burger as well on upon request.

This place is so amazing!!! Got stuck in Phoenix for a flight over and decided to take my family around. The food was amazing. Service was beyond amazing. If you have a chance to stop by you absolutely must try the cast iron clams and the tortilla bread pudding!!!! Would travel back to Phoenix just to enjoy Switch again.

Great food & atmosphere. A bit pricey, but then location, location, location. The food is high quality and while it seems they have actually reduced the number of selections available, those that remain are still noteworthy. The salads are amazing, but adding chicken to it, makes for first note about it being pricey. They also have a full bar which is nice for happy hour.

Great food and service was prompt but not rushed. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. There is an outdoor patio to enjoy except the hot summer days of Phoenix. Cowboy burger and twisted fries were great and a chicken sandwich was piled high with items. Did not try a cocktail but am sure they are very good for those looking for one.

Went here for Brunch! Super delicious food and the waitress was super accommodating with our huge party. The menu was pretty eclectic, with a lot of Latin inspired dishes and no pancakes. I enjoyed it, but my nephew was a little disappointed.

Popped in for dinner the other evening after years of not having been here. I ordered the Super Chop Salad and my friend ordered the Cowboy Burger. I'd had the salad years ago and remember how delicious it was. This time, it was still great, but next time I think I will try one of the many other delicious looking items on the menu. The red sangria was also amazing. Would love to come back during happy hour, hang out, relax and try a new food item!

I just enjoy visiting your restaurant over and over again! The atmosphere in this restaurant was not the only thing I liked, I liked the service as well. The waiters are very sweet and do whatever they can to please their customers. The room was really clean and organized as well. I have agreed to help all the people I know in your restaurant!

Always really nice and attentive staff. Amazing food. I ve been there randomly with friends and I actually had a birthday there. They were so accommodating for my birthday as well. Love it here.

Trendy and good food, I wish their menu didn't change drastically every time I went in. I never m ow if the things I like will still be available. Very popular so it can be a little noisy at lunch. Great place.

Was staying at a local hotel and did not want to drive to dinner (also, wanted a cocktail). I'm glad I took a chance on this restaurant - amazing salad - chicken sangria salad and green crush margarita! Yummy!

***Got sent to another work related training event, same hotel (Fairfield Inn). 12 hours days, so when I got off work I did not want to drive and thought, I'll try Switch again. Well, I've ate here 3 nights in a row with not a single disappointment. Amazing food, excellent mixed drinks. Awesome!!

Patio would have been nice, but inside was noisy we had a hard time carrying on a normal conversation. The menu gives few real choices. My friend ordered the chopped salad and asked the waitress if it was truly chopped. Her reply was "oh yes chopped is chopped". It definitely wasn't. My soup and salad were very good, but the noise and lack of menu choices made us question whether we would come back. We used to have lunch at Courderoy when it was next door. The menu was far better with nice choices and it didn't ECHO. So sorry it closed.

I live 2 blocks away and finally stopped in for breakfast on Sunday at 10 am when they open. Sat outside and atmosphere is good. Service was nice. Food was pretty decent. Chilaquiles, shrimp and grits, fruit plate and a savory puff pastry unique dish. We did not take advantage of the mimosas but will the next time!

The food was delicious and well-prepared. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with French fries. I also enjoyed the flavorful and slightly spicy bloody Mary's. There was barely any vodka in it at all, so I got to enjoy the tomato juice without getting a buzz. The coffee was mediocre and the staff wasn't quick to refill it. No manager or host checked on the our needs or enjoyment of the food; but otherwise, I found the team attentive.

Wait staff is wonderful, quick and attentive. Food comes out quickly, fresh and hot. Be warned: servings are enormous...not just the food but drinks also. I'm big on trying new places, but this is going on my short list of places to frequent.

The food here is good (but not spectacular), and the brunch carafes are a great buy on the weekend. Service was lovely, but I'm giving 3 stars instead of 4 because our waitress forgot to put our order in for quite a while. Other than that it was a nice time, and I would recommend it.

Cute little local place with friendly service. Atmosphere has a modern feel but the menu is full-on southern-based. I had the Low Country Catfish (blackened, as recommended by the server), which is the chef's mother's or grandmother's recipe. The fish had a slight kick and the whole meal was delicious. I was gateful to find a local spot in a relatively large city with good food and service. Stephanie, our server, was knowledgeable, attentive, and on top of water refills, etc. 10/10 would visit again and try more of the menu.

A truly pleasant surprise! Came to eat at Durant s & discovered this gem next door. Everything from the craft cocktails to the incredibly diverse menu pleased everyone! It was difficult deciding which item to order and seeing what came out of the kitchen for others made the choice more difficult.

You are at the top of your game. Thanks

A small eclectic menu. Elevated comfort food with a flavor twist. A little on the higher dollar side but not outrageous and large portions to offset the price. I had the South bound dump truck. Fried chicken on a pretzel bun, bacon and carmalized onions with a side of sweet potato fries. Was not disappointed. Hubby had the blue cheese burger. Great grill flavor with a hint of Bleu cheese and slaw on top. Only down side was our waitress was not on her game. Felt like she wanted to be anywhere else but there. Everyone is entitled to a bad day. We will be back for another try.

Was an unexpected surprise. But you have to be short to use the urinal. I mean it's a foot off the floor. Worth seeing that, period! But seriously, food was 5 star. Urinal, 1 star. Just kidding.

Amazing! My wife and I eat here occasionally and, was here for a surprise birthday party and decided to try a different entree, was not disappointed. I had the blacked catfish, it was prepared well and had a great spice, flavor and the texture.

My wife had the meatloaf (her usual dish) and it tasted better than the first time we purchased it! Our friends whose it was their first time at this restaurant also had great dishes (pics below) of which they want to go back next weekend and try their brunch.

Overall, and as always service was fantastic additionally, the atmosphere was perfect and laid back for an awesome Saturday evening.

First time here and we really enjoyed it. I got the roasted pork papparadelle, which sounds odd but was really tasty and my boyfriend got the dump truck sandwich which he said was really good. All in all a nice date night place

This place has such a unique variety of food. I ordered the jalisco sandwich, which was a spicy and flavorful. Street corn was messy, as it should be. And their "curly" fries were delicious. They had a variety of wines and other drinks.

I've been here a couple of times because it's close by. The food is Ok, they have a eclectic menu. A little pricey. $13.00 for potatoes & eggs is a bit much. Most disappointing is the staff has never been welcoming, entrance is awkward. Free parking is available, but sharing the small lot with 2 other establishments, which Durants takes a lot of for valet is a pain. Today's experience put me off ever returning or suggesting this place again. They were busy. The staff seemed irritated / flustered & I waited to be seated. I asked to sit at bar which I was told I couldn't. was over looked & some regulars seated ahead of me. When I complained i was seated. By this point my patience ran out - so, as the name suggest, I switch (ed) destinations & took my business elsewhere. Won't be back.

Rediscovered this place, last friday and oh was i pleasantly surprised! From the drink specials to the food. And how well they understood and asked all the right question about my food sensitivities. It was exquisite! Super low key and just a great atmosphere for a friday night!! Well done switch

I go here every couple months with my Meetup group, and have never had anything that wasn't thoroughly scrumptious from the menu. And the coffee is a really great to. Outdoor and indoor dining. A really nice brunch spot

You must eat here.

You must eat here.

This place is my go-to for brunch, lunch, really any meal. Solidly amazing food and cheap carafes of drinks to boot. Switch never disappoints. The staff is courteous, quick, and professional. When you sit at the bar you can hear the fun banter from the kitchen. This place is not only a charm to eat at, from the outside it seems like a great place to work.

Real dedication, talent, and dare I say love goes into every dish and it shows. From date nights to eating with a large party, I've never once been the slightest bit disappointed.

The most amazing clams I have ever had, a dish to be consumed slowly and savored. Menu looks so good, I I must return often and soon. Too many wonderful offerings to choose from. Not the same old pub fare.

We ordered take-out this weekend, and the meals were incredible. Switch is a family favorite, and we bring friends here as well. We never have a bad experience, the staff is wonderful. Be sure to order the Bread Pudding dessert.

We shared happy hour (3-6PM) onion rings for $5 and they were great. My wife had Mac and Cheese which she really liked. I had the Switch burger which was good, but the Canadian bacon was pretty useless. If you didn't read that it was on the burger, you couldn't tell by either texture or flavor. Everything else serves a purpose, but I would rather have had regular bacon.

Overall though, the food and service was great.

Parking good.

Parking good.
Bar staff wasn't the friendliest but once seated waitress was friendly.
Food was amazing! Prices were fair for the quality of the food.

Excellent sandwich, burger, dinner, small plate restaurant with a Mediterranean flavor. Great service. Comfortable inside seating and lovely outdoor patio. Hummus plate was delicious as was the Brie appetizer including habanero drizzle. You can split the BLT with someone. It s huge. The watermelon salad is my favorite, add prosciutto. Other add on meats are available for the salad.
