Staff are extremely helpful and the council have done a marvelous job of making the environment COVID-19 safe.
Access to study etc is given in timed slots.
This is the best library in the world. I have been influenced to read more and more books and never would have been doing good in an academic status. And this gave me confidence to read more often since I used to be reluctant to read. Super helpful staff and directed me towards Percy Jackson which I have read the whole series over 3 times.
Opening times not updated. Website shows 5pm closure on Saturday. Actually it was closed by 2pm. Waste of time.
First Class Coders delivered creative computing coding classes for children at age 4+ years at Sutton Central Library.
Our fun classes & sessions stimulated social and cognitive skills in addition to tapping into skills such as maths, sciences art and technology.
We look forward to returning to Sutton Central library to #PlayCodeGrow again.

Biggest library in Sutton with loads of genres and books! There's 2 floors of books including mangas for anime readers
If attending this library for books, forget it.Extreamly poor selection "that's if people return the books'.
Staff are brilliant, but choosing books no,very small sections biographical forget it.
In fact it feels like an I,T hub more than a library.
Shame our library's have come to this.
Very impressed, as an out of borough resident. They now let people from outside Sutton register with the library, borrow books and use the download apps.
So I am now travelling to work or back listening to audio books care of Sutton library's loan service. They are also open for a few hours on Sunday unlike some other Council libraries.
Drawbacks : personally I don't like the open plan nature of the library where the tables have become a place where students from the attached local college come to talk and occasionally study (the last comment is humourous "occasionally").
Very good service. I used the Black and white print from mobile service, 10p per page. Requires a debit/debit card. But the instructions are low down on a table and small, so be prepared to pop a disc reading them. (:
