Great fresh sushi, a little bit expensive, but you can taste the quality, looks like a well run place
My favourite sushi restaurant.
As name suggest always fresh and will make fresh if for example don't want sesame seed on.
The tempura fish and chips is a personal favourite.
Really thrilled to see the uni nigiri (sea urchin roe sushi) on the menu. It was fresh and delicious and the wagyu nigiri was very good too. However the wagyu salad was terrible - very tough and chewy and not much to shout about in terms of flavour. Chairs are hard to sit on - basically not a comfortable setting (canteen style), otherwise I'd come everyday whilst in Brisbane.
Wow great tourist stumble- beautiful, friendly and unrushed.
handroll filling are over boring simple&over price !bluefin tuna $10 for 2 pieces ..they are selling gold ...i suppose..
Very fresh ingredients and great customer service. Love it.
Quality sushi, the best I've eaten in Brisbane and surrounding areas. It's quite pricey but, in my honest opinion, it is definitely worth it.
On the expensive side but the sushi is always fresh and delicious.
If you're vegetarian and don't like fish etc the options are limited. Apart from that, their other offerings are excellent.
The freshest, best value sushi I could dream of. The hand rolls have large pieces of fish and the flavors are unreal. Even the sushi rice is cooked to perfection. 11/10 experience, nice staff and quick service.
I'm very picky about Japanese cuisine but they have really good ones ... A bit expensive for the size portion but it's okay.
I like it.
James St Markets is a convenient spot for people who don't think about how much something costs.
This is apparent at the Fresh Sushi Co with their pre made sushi rolls (3 for $14).
The quality of the premade sushi is on par with your local roll joint, however I know their fresh made food is a step above.
4 stars for previous visits for fresh sushi, 3 stars for their $14 pre made, 5 stars if the premade was cheaper.
Best sushi in Brisbane, very friendly staff and fresh fish.
Very good fresh sushi, not cheap but that's what you expect from James St.
One of the best sushi for my taste in Brisbane! Prices are a little expensive but it s definitely worth it once in a while! Love their fresh salmon and tuna sushi! Aburi salmon is also amazing give them a try.
Really fresh sushi! (Lol the name of the place). The fish doesn't smell at all and the texture is amazing. The sushi rice made here by hand is so flavourful. The boxed sushi is very affordable too. The menu items though are quite the restaurant prices. They also sell fresh seafood and Japanese ingredients such as sushi vinegar, wasabi etc.
the sashimi salad from here is my favorite in Brisbane
Seriously great sushi in St James Market. If you're in the area, stop past and check it out. Great range, great service and great food. Recommend highly.
Great quality seafood and sushi. Average price and fast service.
Food may be great but ridiculously slow to get Terriyaki salmon. Twice have been here and both times well over 30mins to get a meal. Wasn't even a busy time.
Seafood were super fresh, price were reasonable. No decoration, but food were well worth it! Highly recommended.
Was ok. Limited menu.. nothing special but still good enough
Loved this place! The sashimi was really fresh and delicious. Well recommended!
The freshness of sashimi is as if I was in Japan. I came here all the way from the south side, having heard about this place. The hassle turned out worth. The chef's handling skill is real, which you can eventually feel in your mouth. Wonderful :)
Absolutely love the sushi at Fresh Sushi Co. Always so fresh, best quality ingredients and Japanese sushi chefs. I imagine this might be how sushi tastes in Japan. A little on the expensive side but you get what you pay for.
One of the best sushi places in Brisbane. They usually have very fresh fish which makes their sushi taste extra yummy. We usually go for their Rainbow/Salmon/Salmon aburi box & the prices are reasonable for the portions you get.
Service is quick & seating is quite limited - so not really suitable for large gatherings. Takeaway is fine, provided that the sushi is eaten as soon as possible. Despite storing it in a fridge for a few hours, the freshness & taste do change slightly & it is noticeable.
Made to order to our very individual tastes, very fresh and quick. Could improve on the eel.
Great experience. Fresh sushi and friendly service. Love the udon soup stock. Kinda pricey.
Nothing special in the sushi but is part of the same shop that sells an incredible range of foods.
Pretty decent vegetable tempura up and very fresh sushi
really tasty and sushi. they have pre-made boxes but I always go for ordering fresh handmade rolls. I really like the crunchy tuna. this place is a little more expensive but it's always good.
Brilliantly fresh and great quality! Someone in the know recommended the tuna karaage and it's awesome!
