This place will change your life. Great food, better than hot dogs.
To anyone complaining about their price...why are you eating sushi then? Its twice as good as all the others in town, and it's priced fairly.

We were back again for carry out and it was jyst as good as eating there. Well packaged with great curbside pick up service.

The place when you enter and sit on the table smells kinda bad but the food was pretty good

Sushi is fresh and delicious and the Korean menu has some amazing dishes as well.

Would recommend the bahama cruise or whatever roll with mango avocado coconut crab and sweet mayo. That s a combo I ve not had before and very tasty. Did not try Korean stuff.

I came here for Monday night dinner. The food was good but the service wasn't. We ordered water and didn't get it until after we received our food. The waitress didn't check up on us once to ask how everything tasted or to refill our empty water glasses. They were not busy at all but she seemed to be in a bad mood. My husband goes here for lunch and says the service is way better then but was also disappointed with their dinner service.

Service was great and informative as well as fun. Food was exactly what we ordered and expected. Try the Japanese sodas for some fun cultural exploration.

Best Korean restaurant in Tampa even though it's name doesn't mention any Korean.

Very slow service and on top of that my group of people had questions about the menu and our server was rude towards us. I m sorry you having a bad day.. but at least answer our questions. Food 8/10 slow on coming out ... but food was okay.

I asked for the kimchi soup with no pork (i'm vegetarian), just subbed for noodles. My server told me this was not possible. I won't be back.

The best sushi I have ever had. Service is wonderful. The food is fresh and crisp and delicious.

Sat at our table for 15-20 minutes and no one came to our table once. The couple that sat just before us had drinks and appetizer on their table.

I have to visit this place again but try their sushi -which I have heard is great! Their korean food is delicious! I can t remember the name of each plate but I can tell you that you won t be disappointed. Food wasn t as spicy As I expected compared to another place I went to out of State but delicious nonetheless.

No spacing out among customers on request, even though two thirds of the tables were vacant. Had to leave.

I really enjoy this place. The sushi is good but the real standout is the selection of Korean food. The short ribs are excellent and the soups are very good. There is a good selection of Asian beer. The service is good and I have always been seated immediately. The price are lower than some other sushi places. There is ample parking and the location is very central and easy to get to. If you can t decide between Korean and Japanese food, go to Ninja and have the best of both worlds.

BEST SUSHI IN TAMPA HANDS DOWN!! This is coming from a fellow Asian, that should speak volumes. Ps. Great Korean food as well, if you haven't been here yet, no wonder why you're so miserable all the time. Do yourself a favor and make your life worth something by ingesting this sushi.

The service wasn't bad but the sushi that I wanted they didn't have and was unwilling to accommodate my simple request. If the sushi is made fresh to add something to one one take something out of another shouldn't be a problem.

We had the Ninja bowl and the BeeBeemBop, both were fantastic. The kimchi was delicious too. I highly recommend if you like Asian food, especially Korean food.

I ll be honest, I had written this place off from the exterior and didn t even give it a chance. One day was in the mood for Japanese and the place I had planned on going to was closed mid-afternoon, so gave it a shot. I have to admit I was very wrong.

Food, service and atmosphere all on point. Sushi Ninja is now one of my favorite places. Not to be cliche but the old idiom of not judging a book by its cover totally bit me and I wish I had been coming here long ago. Better late than never I guess.

You get what you pay for. This place is fantastic. May it remain open forever and ever. Amen.
If you have 4 people or more with you get any of the red soups, I prefer the goat,, or perhaps it was the lamb, ,ok it's defiantly one of those and they only sell one and not the other and i'm not trying to milk this for word count I just truly do not remember. Did I mention they sometimes have Uni?!!?!?! The japchae is really something special. Generous portions of quality sashimi. A+++ Thank you Korean Soup Queen!

If I were to rate this place based solely on the quality of sashimi I had that night, this would be a five star venue. Issues with service made me knock this down however.

This is a higher end (for Tampa) sushi spot but it also boasts a very good menu selection of Korean dishes. There is bar seating or dining area tables. Sushi chefs seemed to be the stars of the show here as they were friendly, quick, and focused on detail. My ahi was cut right and seemed fresh. Even the lower end white fish had a nice and fresh buttery taste. This is something I have been hunting for since moving back from Hawaii.
The only regret I have is the service here. We had what I hope is the unfortunate luck of a sub-pat server who was slow, distant, and unhelpful. Questions were met with shrugs and answers that indicated an inability to budge on simple substitutions. There were several instances of no water replacement and my hot tea was never offered a refill.

Bottom line: this seems to be a great place to find excellent sashimi in the area without breaking the bank but I would love to come back and see better service for the amount of money expected.

The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I am not a seafood eater so I am only giving my review for the Korean food not involving seafood. The Bulgogi pork and beef are so good. Just the right amount of spice or sweetness (pork is spicy and beef is sweeter). Their desserts are huge as well. The owners are welcoming and the staff are very friendly and resourceful!

The food has a good presentation, though I love Korean bbq the grilled steak was simple, it needs more steak. Korean wings are too hot spicy, however my Korean friend loved them.

I've been here twice, and both times were excellent as far as food and service. Delicious and filling sushi, with plenty of options if you don't want sushi with avocado or cream cheese. On my most recent visit, I ordered the crazy ninja and crazy krab rolls. The crazy ninja has a nice heat to it. I was with family my second time, my cousins said her miso was a little too salty for her. But she enjoyed her edamame and sushi. Our waitress was super nice and patient with my cousin's young daughter and baby son.

I enjoyed the service and cleanliness of the restaurant, however the sushi didn t stand out. Just good sushi. I had spicy tuna rolls and it was fairly priced and tasty but nothing to write home about.
I ll come back and see another day though

This place has turned out to be the worst restaurant ever in my life. As you can see all my reviews for other businesses, I always gave them more than enough but this restaurant has failed to demand for not even 1 star. I was there by Nov 23rd after the Thanksgiving day when my family has decided to spend times in Tampa during this holiday. Everything went so well as we were planned and we loved St. Petersburg and Tampa area and we have decided to go this restaurant for dinner which turned out to be the worst mistake ever that I have made. As to the attached picture, we ordered various food including Sushi and Korean plates and one of the main dish came out after we had all food completely consumed. So I asked for refund due to delay of food that we were already ready to take off but the owner, called Mimi came to my table and got already upset because I have requested for the refund. She didn't stop there but she talked to the next table and cursed at us and gave away the food to the next table. I wouldn't mind pay this if she ever asked but she was completely rude and no respect!!!. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who is interested in take your family and I dont want you guys to have this type of experience with your family. My family got so upset and I was very frustrated this type of service, specially from the owner...

The restaurant is beautiful and clean. The sushi is awesome!!

The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly and polite. Temperature check required and staff ensures that all surfaces are properly cleaned.

Delicious sushi. We tried the salmon skin roll and it was phenomenal. The teriyaki beef is wonderful.

Sushi Ninja is a great choice for a quiet quality meal. I have been dining here for years. The service is always good. The quality of the sushi/sashimi and everything else they prepare is top notch. Keep up the good work Sushi Ninja!

If you want to have the best sushi, service and margaritas in Tampa you have to try Sushi Ninja Tampa.

Best sushi in Tampa in my opinion. The basic rolls are super affordable and fantastic quality. The service is great to top it all off.
I can't wait to go back and try other rolls.

They require a mask to enter and are checking temperatures before you can sit down. Just FYI.

I LOVE this place. Their service is quick and every roll I've had is delicious. Places like Soho sushi are overrated in terms of wait and cost compared to the amazingness you can get at Sushi Ninja.

I'm sure everything is great but I always get the coconut curry noodles. Always consistent. The service is great. A little small so during peak hours you'll most likely experience a wait.

Great food, nice staff, be prepared to wait before they notice you're there.

Never dissappointed in the food, and the staff seems nice when they remember you are there, but I've never had less than a ten minute wait before even getting a drink order in.

A friend highly recommended this restaurant to me. The food was delicious and I like how I could choose from Korean food, Japanese food, and/or sushi. I had the Korean was scrumptious.

I'll be the first to admit that as someone who has worked in the restaurant/service industry for six years, I'm hyper aware of service, food, cleanliness, etc. of the restaurants I dine at. My sashimi was delicious but that was overshadowed by the absolutely horrific "service." You really can't even call it that. First off, it took our "server" Virginia more than 10 minutes to even come by after I'd arrived to see if I needed a water. Then after the rest of the party arrived it took her another several minutes to come by to just get our appetizer order. When we finally got those, she didn't come back to check on the table until we were well finished with the apps, low on water, and ready to order dinner. When she got our order she filled the waters, but left the pitcher on the table next to us. Not professional. After a literal hour of waiting, our food finally came, and Virginia didn't bus the dirty dishes off the table. We finished our waters and finished our food a little later with Virginia nowhere to be found. She never checked on us while we were eating to see if we needed anything or how the food was, and again: NEVER REFILLED OUR WATERS. We'd been sitting there for a while after we'd finished our food and she finally came back but only to see if we were ready to pay. Ridiculous and rude. To top it off, because we were a party of 7 they have an automatic gratuity, which isn't uncommon and I've never had a problem with that, until tonight. The service was completely unacceptable and inadequate. Virginia clearly didn't know what she was doing, didn't care, or both; and neither did the manager. Overall, completely dissatisfied and I will not be back, you can find better service at McDonald's.

I don't usually write reviews, but after a great experience at Sushi Ninja I just had to share my thoughts. The atmosphere was very trendy but you will still be able to hold a conversation without yelling. The entire staff was very polite and inviting. Our waiter Adam was very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. The food was absolutely perfect. I can't wait to go back again.

Ate and drank here for a friend's birthday party and had a great experience! They were able to accommodate our large party of 10+, and the service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere was calming and modern, and the restaurant has a lively feel . The large menu has a mix of Japanese and Korean foods, so there should be something interesting enough for everyone.

Sushi Ninja is a little higher priced than your average sushi joint but they serve a large variety of tasty rolls and some pretty tasty Korean food which you can't get at many other restaurants in the area!
