Just received a call from Sureway trying to sell me light bulbs. Checked out the google reviews while I had Ralph on the phone and tried to tell him the reviews I was looking at were quite negative. He said I was not looking at the right company, but when I pointed out that I did indeed have the right company (verified by Ralph ) he would not stop talking to let me tell him what the reviews said. I told him to "shut up" as he would not give me a word in edgewise. He called me rude then basically hung up. Yes, I guess I was rude, but when you call me and waste my time, I feel that I have the right to talk as well, instead of just having to hear your sales pitch.

Managed to find all of the supplies I needed for my new building. They will take care of you very well.

Extensive product line, knowledgeable staff, fast delivery

Absolutely garbage company. They have been calling for years making unrealistic promises. They are a shady business with shadier business practices. They tried charging us 3 times the retail price for their product. Not a company that anyone should be proud to work for!

Unethical scammers. They call your business to confirm a delivery that you never ordered, then bill you. They have called repeatedly with the same scam andI will call the police the next time they call. They will call your company and get an employees name and put that on the invoice. Just ask them for a purchase order number when they demand payment. That usually makes them back off. I wouldn't even given them 1 star if google would allow it.

Huge LED lighting selection,just upgrade they lighting un my entire office. Natural looking Light at a fraction of the energy cost,i'm looking foward to seeing the lower cost in the electric bill

same story as all the otherS. Sales man called in said he was sending me a free jacket. I said no. offered free samples for light bulbs, then at the end asked for a PO number. Told him not to call back, called again 2 days later looking for a co worker. Told him him not to call back. Called a third time and got someone who just started working for us. offered him a free jacket and what size and free samples , received 1200 dollars of electrical stuff we would never use. Giant Scam just like all the other users. Everyone writing pro reviews are employees of this company just check for yourself all have 1 review and only for this company SCAM SCAM SCAM. customer service claims this never happens, this must happen everyday all day long. Google map street veiw the location they work out of a dump and is not even close to an electrical supply store.

I had an excellent experience ordering for this company earlier this month. The rep on the phone acted as a lighting consultant and offered advice in terms of which lighting option would be best for my space. I was very happy with the level of service and quality of product.

Sureway has a great selection and variety of bulbs that are difficult to find. I was able to find product that was not available in any of my local stores and it shipped very quickly. Very happy customer.

scam! talked to you like you've always ordered. Had order, plus free gift hustle. Called for price $19 per tube!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I pay $2 and change at Gerrie Electric (who are amazing) for the exact same bulb. Plus another warranty type hustle on the bulbs such a croc. Call and cancel!!!!!

They have a really good selection on newer lighting fixtures, but also older ones too. I needed to replace some older ballasts which I wasn't able to find really anywhere, and they had them in stock. Order process was easy with the sales rep and the product came in a couple days. Positive Experience

Worst company ever. Sent me stuff without approval. I rejected the package without even signing for it. They decided to send me an invoice anyway. I would not buy from these people even if I need the product!!!

I was missing older style bulbs, and was unable to find them locally at store that carry lights. Sureway was able to find these specific bulbs for me. I'm also looking at upgrading the lighting when I renew my lease on the space in the spring and they had some great advice and product suggestions for then. I'll return to them as a customer when that time comes.

This company is a total scam. I just had the same experience as all the other reviewers. Hang up as soon as they call!

second call in about 2 months, high pressure promising jackets, etc.... first time told them not to call back and again the second time. do not fall for their antics... High pressure and way too high of prices

I find Sureway to be extremely time saving as my distributor instead of having myself or an employee go out and physically source all the maintenance and cleaning supplies that we use on a daily basis. I am happy with all of the products that we get and the quality of service is grea.

If your looking for quality electrical materials, this is one of four places in the ON area that will have or can get what you'll need, it's a real electrical supply webstore.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!
One of their Sales Reps came into our warehouse. Offered one of our shipping staff a free jacket. He didn't know what he accepted, and when they came to deliver bulbs we simply told the driver that we did not order bulbs and they still sent a invoice to our company. We refused the invoice, also never received their "jacket". This is now the second time they have tried this. PLEASE MAKE YOUR STAFF AWARE OF THIS SCAM!

I had a very pleasant experience with Sureway International, a friend who recommended them to me has been using them for years and so far, their service has been great!

I just re outfitted my car dealership with new energy efficient LED fluorescent tube style lighting. The bulbs even fit in my existing fixtures. I didn't even know this was an option and am very happy that the sales rep I dealt with let me know about this product. I was originally thinking this job was going to cost a lot more than it did. Very happy with the results and am already seeing a noticeable difference on my electricity bill.

i switched out older bulbs and upgraded the office and warehouses to LED lighting. Sureway has a pretty solid selection

Really outstanding! We have been trying to find this lamp for almost a year. If you had not found this particular lamp for us, it would of meant that we would of had to change over our whole facility. Great customer service and great follow through. Richard

Same scam as others have posted here, promotional item offered, salesman pushes for a small order, over charges for items and hopes that you don't catch it. Sales people have unknown numbers. Very shady business, do not be fooled by these guys.

They were able to source some specific kitchen lighting that I needed on 2 project that we're currently working on. We would order again in the future on upcoming projects.

This company keeps calling our hall wanting to do business. They'll ask for anyone and often have the wrong name because they know FOR A FACT we do not want to do business with them, but they figure if they ask for the wrong person and disguise the nature of their call they will get a chance to try to sell something.

Their tactics include calling our staff derogatory names, calling repeatedly even after we said to stop and threatened legal action. Even physically going to their offices to tell them to stop hasn't stopped the phone calls or name calling.

These are not good people, and we will continue to refuse to do business with them.

They have been known to show up and deliver product and then send an invoice requesting payment.
First someone from this SCAM of an organization, will call to obtain names of whomever works there, then utilize that name as an authorized purchase order (PO); therefore your staff believe it is legit.
NEVER PAY ANYTHING TO THIS COMPANY. SUPER SCAM ARTISTS!

*Food for thought* I am not the only one to report this..... many others also report Sureway represents themselves in deceitful ways. You can see by the reviews... Sure they have some 5 star positive reviews, however anyone can create fake Google accounts and give fake positive reviews for their company, in order to combat the TRUE MISREPRESENTATIVE PRACTICES THEY UTILIZE.

No true company has ONLY either 1 star or 5 star service.

Buyer Beware in this scenario!

Isn't it funny when you read the "Owner" response to ALL the individuals who have left negative feedback; their response is a canned response ...."We do not have a sales call center, nor do we engage in any third party telemarketing....." SCAM!

I couldn't leave it as no stars so I had to select one, otherwise it would be *ZERO!*

They may have a legitimate business selling bulbs but they've got a crooked salesforce that will try and find the name of someone at your business to put on an invoice, promise a [local sports team] jacket to so they can ship their bulbs and hopefully get you to sign for. Warn your warehouse/receivers not to sign for anything that arrives from this company and tell the courier to send it back or else you have to get them to contact their shipper to pick them back up again.

Same scam they have been running for years, clearly people keep falling for it for them to still be in "business". They act like they are the business's current light bulb supplier and bully their way into an order, the bulbs show up with a HUGE price tag attached to them. Clearly the business refuses to pay so they send it to a collection agency. Oh I can't forget to mention the crappy "free gift" they offer as well, anything from a sweet NHL jersey to a Best Buy gift card.

Last time I took a call from them I gave the guy a hard time, he snapped at me and told me he makes more money than me then hung up hahahah.

Hopefully people stop falling for this scam and these guys finally close their doors for good.

I ordered LED lighting from Sureway and I couldn't have been more satisfied with my choice. Sureway was easy to work with, communicated well, and their product is amazing. I have already recommended their lights to others and will continue to based on my experience with Sureway.

Kevin called to offer me a free Canada Games jacket and a free box of T8 bulbs for our warehouse. I've never dealt with this company before and nothing is ever free but I accepted. An hour later I got a call from another Sureway employee to confirm my order, I told him Kevin said the order was free and he hung up on me.

Can't believe there are people that have no conscience.

Scam company- cannot produce actual PO or proof of order, and sends random bulbs to your jobsite then sends you an outrageous bill demanding payment. Watch out for "Jennifer"

Awesome service! They had great options for kitchen cabinetry and under-mount lighting. I was able to find exactly what I was looking for.

Unethical. Every 3 months someone calls and offers an employee something free (sweater, drill, etc..). When they accept, a box of fluorescent lights show up with a $1000 bill. We have asked to be removed from their system 3 times. Keeps happening. Do not do business with this company.

SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. Please read all of the one-star reviews as my experience with this company has been exactly the same. Pushy salesperson calls, pretends to have ongoing relationship with my company. Throws around fake made-up names of people they used to deal with. Offers some sport jacket, asks me my size and when I say (for the umpteenth time - they have phoned me multiple times as well as my colleagues) that I cannot accept 'gifts' and don't like sports they say they'll send a Walmart gift card instead. Time wasting scammers. Obviously paying unemployed people $5 to post bogus glowing reviews.

We started working with Sureway a few moths ago. Even with COVID, we have not had a bad experience. Working with Dave is great!

They called our office and got the new guy. They sent us a case of bulbs for which we were billed 800$ quite higher than what these can even be bought at Home Depot for. The nature of the call was misleading and our new warehouse personnel was taken advantage of due to the linguistics used in the call as if we had always done business together.

They called again saying they were going to send more light bulbs later on in the year to which we declined. They then instead said they were shipping out a half case of batteries to us to which we refused multiple times until they gave up on that call.

Buyer beware here big time!

Joe a high pressured sales guy offered me a jacket even though I told him my lites were fine and had no need for his service?? he questioned my authority about whether or not I was the owner and perhaps maybe one of the 'guys' in the back could help him better. I assured him that I am the owner of the business and the buildings and that I can make the decisions necessary...perhaps he needed to talk to a man not a woman, eventually he hung up on me??? extremely rude would not trust them at all!!!

We renewed our office with lighting solutions from Sureway and were impressed by the results. Now the place looks much brighter and bigger. My colleagues even say they are ok to spend more time in the office) Never thought that investment in lighting products could make such a great difference.
