As a subcontractor for surespan I was treated horribly. I would not recommend you work for this company as if you make an honest mistake you can be dropped on the on the side of the curb and left stranded. The bridge project I was assigned to was badly managed and highly disorganized and from all of my 20 years of construction this is by far the worst experience I've ever had. At the moment I'm trying to leave the hotel and at the same time they are canceling the hotel. I have a ride arranged for the evening yet the Surespan management is arranging my leaving the hotel midday I believe this is an illegal action as we are in a remote location and I am lacking transportation. They refuse to help me and instead they are trying to dock my pay for my having to stay at the hotel until I am able to leave.
