Awesome liquor store. I had to pee hard and they were quick with getting me the bathroom keys. Also, they have an amazing selection of libations.

TINY AISLES and people with pets make this place incredibly awful to shop. Stop if its convenient and you don't have time to go to your regular spot.

Surdyk's has been a lovely constant in the Northeast district of Minneapolis. It has been there for many many years and their wine selection is fantastic, they have all sorts of varieties of beer and other liquor, and they are always happy to help you find what you're looking for! Very friendly accommodating staff. Their little shop on the side is also brimming with treasures such as Nicolette's Macarons and plenty of good cheese. The sandwiches from the deli are also superb and very reasonably priced! Whatever you're going for, it is money well spent. Plus, now they even have a wine bar (yay!)

Thursday's wine tastings are a highlight of my week. Staff is very informative and helpful. They even have a decent N/A selection for when you're going through that phase.

This is probably the best liquor store in the Twin Cities. Great selection, good staff, and wine and beer tasting every Saturday. Really good food and snacks in the cheese shop. Love this place.

I love this place. They have incredibly knowledgeable staff that are willing to help you find anything or make great suggestions for wine/food pairing etc. This place also has a wide variety of cheeses, like really wide. Surdyks is by far my favorite liquor store in NE Minneapolis. They have the biggest selection and also have great deals. They also have wine tastings on the weekends usually.

Surdyk's has the best selection of wines, spirits, beers, and cheeses.

I was hoping to get a beef stick but they don't sell them anymore. This is still a great place.

This place was amazing! So many options. It was nice to be able to pick beers up from breweries we didn't have time to visit. As well as get beers from more well known breweries that are out of the state of Minnesota like Pipeworks and Three Floyd's. They also carried top shelf reserved spirits.

I just want to throw some recognition Conners way. He was amazing, spent a lot of time with us to find the cheese we wanted, gave us samples and was very knowledgable and overall awesome. Paige was also very sweet. I love this place, it is always a great experience when I stop in. Amazing customer service

I'm only a rat when it comes to cheese. Huge selection of cheese. These evil doers make it so that, if you want to head into the liquor store section of the store, one must pass the cheese deli section. It is impossible to simply walk past this section if one is a lover of cheeses. My favorite cheese is blue. Growing up, I knew of 3 or 4 kinds of blue cheese. This place has 10!

And their liquor. HUGE selection of beers, wines, whiskeys, cognacs, etc. If you are a drinker of whiskey or cognac, this is the place for you. That huge selection of whiskey? the shelving space per Canadian, American, Irish, and Scotch is larger than my 5' 10" wing span, and all of it is mid to top shelf stuff (obviously for spacing purposes some of it must be placed on the low shelves).

This is my go-to place for adult beverages. All the staff knowledgeable, easy to get to and pick up service is very nice.

I think Surdyks deserves six stars. The selection of craft and quality is considerable but they have some of the lowest prices on your bud light etc. The environment is nice, they frequently have steep discounts, the cheese store is delicious, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The neighborhood in downtown NE is cool too, grab some Kramarczuk's polish sausage next door for some great food pairings :)

Really extensive wine, beer, and spirits selection. Check out the cheese shop for hard to find cheeses and meats. There are usually tastings every Thursday and Friday so you can try new stuff.

I've been a customer for over a decade, but I think today was the last time.
The entrance for the liquor side feels very claustrophobic after the remodel. It's aesthetically displeasing how narrow the aisle with the liqueurs looks. It really gives a sensation of being in a haphazard attempt to emulate a chain store.
As unsettling as entering the liquor side is, it was the behavior of an employee that has soured the atmosphere more than anything. I made my way to the registers, and saw a couple people waiting in line at one, with no line at the other. I began browsing the endcaps and impulse buys near the registers to see if there was anything worth an investment. I never got within 6 feet of another customer near the checkouts. The register with the line seemed to be moving through it at a good pace while there was only one party checking out at the other. As my browsing brought me closer to that register I was a bit curious about what the delay was since the last customers in the other line had reached the register, and I realized that he wasn't actually doing his job. Instead he was having a personal conversation with some of his friends that had come to shop and visit. I believe he realized that I was in earshot as I noticed a look of embarrassment in his eyes, which quickly turned to anger. He began yelling at me to go away. His hostility is extremely concerning.

Surdyks is an excellent place to shop. The deli is open again and their new bar is open and looks very welcoming and classy. I haven't tried it yet but I'm sure that the drinks are great and the food was always delicious when it was just a deli. I'm sure they hired a chef that will create an excellent menu.

I probably go here too often. Favorite spot in the city for cheese and meat. They regularly check the quality and ripeness of cheeses, never selling something that shouldn't be sold.
Liquor store side is awesome. Well priced options, exceptional staff with a wealth of knowledge! Regular free wine tastings, so it's great if you're wanting to find something new or learn more about wine.

Everytime I go to Surdycks it is always great! From going in for a quick pick of something to an order pickup to their new food shop I just checked out. Surdycks will give Lunds a run for their money now. Surdycks is not just a liquor store. To me it is a delacantesin with fine spirits to match . Love you guys!
