Excellent selection, pretty much everything you can think of. Friendly and helpful staff.

Lots of variety, frequent sales, often have samples.

The city of Minneapolis is being too lenient with the owner of this store. Why wait until July? Well because that's bloody law you nob. Well, what can you expect from someone who inherited everything he has?

Great selection. I don`t drink too much but love the deli. Sampled a few cheeses and took a couple home. Everybody was so helpful but not pushy. We liked the prices on the desserts!

Wide variety of wine spirits and beer - also a small gourmet food shop. You can find most things you would want.

They have a huge selection. Very helpful and friendly people work here. The cheese shop has to be in the top three in the Twin Cities if not the best outright.

The only problem I've seen lately is really long check out times on the liquor store side.

Cheese shop is best in the cities. My husband's from France and misses cheese more than anything, he can always find something amazing here. I love seeing him smile when we get close to the store.

Pricey, but you get what you pay for. Our meats and cheeses from there were fantastic and the people behind the counter were very helpful putting together a charcuterie board.

Everything in the cheese shop is a treat. Service is great. Gourmet goodies, great cheese helped by knowledgeable staff. At lunch you can get a great quality sandwich faster than a McDonald s drive through and you won t hate yourself after the first bite. Try the sample cheese... always.

Love both the liquor store and the deli! The employees are very helpful.

There have been a few times where i bike to Surdyks and forget to take off my messenger bag, the staff is very rude when i forget to take off my bag at the door and i have even been kicked out after taking off my bag when the requested. I feel like they discriminate towards people they believe not to have money, or have intentions of stealing mostly but not solely based on age. I will NEVER be going back.

Hands down best liquor store in town. The free wine/beer/liquor tastings every weekend are so much fun! Dog friendly as well!

Always a pleasure. Selection is good, but not great when it comes to hard liquor. Malt liquor and wine selection is hard to beat.

The prices at Surdyk's are as good as, or better than other high volume liquor stores. When we went, they were having a 20% off sale on wines and 10% off liquors and beers. We oriced out several items like 1.75 litre Svedka Vodka, Lambic Framboise, Young's Double Chocolate Stout, and several Single-malt Scotches. The price before the sale was as low as Total Wine and Spirits on sale. With the sale price, Surdyk's was far less expensive. We jist don't get to this area often to make Surdyk's a regular place to shop anymore.

The cheese shop is still excellent. A wide variety of cheeses locally produced and from around the world. Prices here are also competitive. They also have a variety of products like coffee, olives, pastries, and hard salami's.

Notably, Surdyks was the first liquor store in Minnesota to ever sell beer on a Sunday ;)

Didn t know what to get for a charcuterie board and the young lady working the counter was extremely helpful!

She told us about different products from different regions and let us sample them. We were really the hit at the Super Bowl party because of their awesome suggestions.

This is not my regular shop. But I was looking for a particular Italian wine to bring to a dinner gathering. Surdyk's had it and the friendly and knowledgeable staff found it and in addition recommend several other fine winds. I would return.

I come here (the to-go deli) all the time for lunch. Sandwiches and soup are top quality & they are really fast, plus they have parking.

Wife and I went here and felt like kids at a candy store. Phenomenal selection of beer, wine, and liquor. The cheese shop is a neat little shop with not only good cheeses but craft coffee beans, olive oils, meats, etc. Just over the river from North Loop so easy trip for more affordable liquor, wine, and beer than its competitor in the North Loop.

Good selections from all round the world. Great tasting options and good sales events. Excellent market with good cheese case and select foodstuffs.

I'm a regular at another liqour store, but they were really dragging their feet in helping me order a specialty Keg. I had exceptional service and follow up (she made promised, and delivered on them too) from Melissa at Surdyk's. I even bought two kegs instead of one. This will be my to go to for all my beer and keg needs. Excellent service, food, and beer selection!

This place has the largest selection of beer and wine you will find in this area. From your domestic beer to the most hipster brew. There is a good chance Surdyk's has it. Also a wide selection of imported beers from Japan and other places. If I ever want to try a new beer this is the place I go for it.

Even though they're German beer selection has suffered over the last few years they still have a great beer selection.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the cheeses I tried were phenomenal. I recommend trying some Norwegian gjetost.

It is everything on sale week. Which is great except cars are buzzing in and out of driveway entrances trying to find a parking spot in the lot or on the street. It was too crazy but I hung in there circling dodging cars and pedestrians only to get into the liquor store and find they only had two cash registers open and lines all the way around the front to the side blocking people from the beer coolers and many aisles

Really good selection both in cheese and booze. A little cramped in some places. Prices are a little on the high side. But I'd go here more often if it were closer because of the rewards for purchases program. Recommend

Great selection on any alcohol. Prices skew slightly high if not shopping something on sale. Frequent in store sampling. Knowledgeable staff.

Surdyk's constantly has great variety with great specials. Additionally their employees are always knowledgeable with any questions you may have.

The woman at the cheese counter was so helpful! She let us try different cheese and helped us choose a couple within our budget based on our tastes!

Just wow. This place is dangerous. Booze AND cheese? Don't get a cart, or you'll spend your entire paycheck.

I ordered thru Amazon, surdyks is their recommended supplier. My window was 2-4. My problem.. I fell asleep during the Vikes game and their delivery service arrived at 2:22. Rang ONLY once and left. No cellphone call. They reversed the original charge on my account but later they recharged me for the products I never received. I still have not heard from anyone about the recharge. $56.

Wonderful neighborhood liquor store that's pretty poppin'. Offers regular favorites and quite a selection of new stuff for the hipsters and brewers.

Good selection, clean store, nice cheese shop but why do I ALWAYS feel like the liquor store staff is being polite and helpful because they HAVE to. Are they miserable or just when they have to interact with me??
