Staff is ghetto and rude. Store is never very clean. Lot is too small and hard to navigate during rush times. Low class customers. The only reason I stop here is because I work downtown but now that a new sa opened a few blocks away I'm going to go there or holiday

Agreed what a dump! Do not bring your kids in there, mop and full dirty bucket sitting near the restrooms probably for day's by the looks of it. The smell in the store is just fow when we walked in. Attempted to use the restrooms. Poop all over the toilet and not sure if there was vomit in the sink.
Very sticky floor.
Never again.
I give it a one star to be able to warn the public do not attempt.

This SA is on the edge of St Paul downtown area it suffers the issues of more urban clientele and it fair share of street people.
The staff is cut of the same cloth and tough and brook no bullshit. Having said that I have been going here for the last six months on a fairly regular basis. I find the same staff that can handle the tough customers respond with courtesy and is very pleasant when treated the same way.
The prices are same as other SA and the stock is well maintained. If you are afraid of ethnic people and/or street people you should go to a less inner city store. I have had no issues and am never offered. I have found clients nice as long as you are not trying to bluster. the staff is terse when treated rude and pleasant when treated well... can you ask for more? They are good hard working people and deserve recognition for the good work they do.
If not for the hard to handle clientele this would receive a 5 star review.

Sketchier than most places I ve been. There is always someone asking for money, someone with their hands down their pants and someone hanging by the air pump telling you a story and then asking for money. Just drive down the street a bit, there s a much safer gas station with less crackheads!

It's the day before the Superbowl, the town is full of tourists and I go into the gas station and it's very dirty. The space in front of the cashier reeks of pee. A line of people form in front of the cashier because the other person working decided to leave and go smoke a cigarette at the entrance to the place. Classy. Then I look at the floor and I'm stepping on A BAG OF DRUGS. What is this place????? HORRENDOUS. What an embarrassment to St. Paul. I'm disgusted.

I've been here about a dozen times because of the location. Without fail, each time I go here it is a horrible experience. The staff is incredibly bigoted and racist. If you are white don't bother showing up. You will not be acknowledged except with a scowl and roll of the eyes. But they do let the homeless take whatever they want so that's nice. I guess.

The building looks like it s falling apart. The store smells like urine. The restroom was DISGUSTING... flies were swarming around the toilet. Toilet paper was everywhere. The sign on the door said that they aim to have clean facilities... try again.

I think my face was purple from holding my breath while in the restroom, as I walked out to return the key to the registers. I assume the restrooms were locked because they were, and probably still are, hazardous to public health.

I have NEVER been more embarassed in my life. Last night I didn't have enough cash to pay for both my burgers. I quietly left a burger by the microwave in hopes someone would buy it. At the register, the cashier SCREAMED AT ME FOR DOING THIS and refused to sell me one burger and another, less expensilve sandwich. I will not be spending my regular $300 per week at this store any longer. It is my sincere hope that management reads this and understands my poor treatment has lost them $1200 in sales per month.

Most cashiers refuse to honor posted promo pricing with rude response to pay full price or leave, they don't care. The ones that honor the promo only do so because I point out that the register is still ringing up the wrong price. I ask why they don't fix it and they just say "I don't know". This promo with Pepsi 2ltr of 3 for $5 has been in effect since 2018 when new registers were installed. Old registers rang correct price, new ones don't. I've experienced this at 4 locations: Wall & 7th, Johnson Pkwy & 7th, Old Hudson Rd & White Bear Ave and Arkwright & Maryland Ave. This tells me: 1. ALL SPEEDWAYS OVERCHARGE THIER CUSTOMERS, 2. NO CASHIERS OR MANAGERS ARE CONCERNED ENOUGH TO ISSUE A TROUBLE TICKET, 3. PEPSI CORP IS NOT AWARE THAT SPEEDWAY IS VIOLATING THEIR CONTRACT AS I'M SURE SPEEDWAY GETS PRODUCT FROM PEPSI AT DISCOUNTED PRICE AS LONG AS SPEEDWAY'S PROMO GIVES CONSUMER SAVINGS AND LOYALTY CARDS ARE BEING USED FOR SPEEDWAY'S BENEFIT!!! Each 3 for $5 promo that is NOT honored nets approx $1above whatever discounted price Pepsi gives. I don't have the records to forecast the amount of money Speedway's parent company Marathon
Oil has ripped off consumers, or what penalties they face for contact violations with PepsiCo, Inc. I can't help but wonder how many other infractions Speedway violates with their contacted vendors? I've reported the Wall & 7th location refusing to give the $1 off 24-pk Pepsi products from approx March 2018 until whenever they stopped selling 24-pks altogether.
