Most cashiers refuse to honor posted promo pricing...
Most cashiers refuse to honor posted promo pricing with rude response to pay full price or leave, they don't care. The ones that honor the promo only do so because I point out that the register is still ringing up the wrong price. I ask why they don't fix it and they just say "I don't know". This promo with Pepsi 2ltr of 3 for $5 has been in effect since 2018 when new registers were installed. Old registers rang correct price, new ones don't. I've experienced this at 4 locations: Wall & 7th, Johnson Pkwy & 7th, Old Hudson Rd & White Bear Ave and Arkwright & Maryland Ave. This tells me: 1. ALL SPEEDWAYS OVERCHARGE THIER CUSTOMERS, 2. NO CASHIERS OR MANAGERS ARE CONCERNED ENOUGH TO ISSUE A TROUBLE TICKET, 3. PEPSI CORP IS NOT AWARE THAT SPEEDWAY IS VIOLATING THEIR CONTRACT AS I'M SURE SPEEDWAY GETS PRODUCT FROM PEPSI AT DISCOUNTED PRICE AS LONG AS SPEEDWAY'S PROMO GIVES CONSUMER SAVINGS AND LOYALTY CARDS ARE BEING USED FOR SPEEDWAY'S BENEFIT!!! Each 3 for $5 promo that is NOT honored nets approx $1above whatever discounted price Pepsi gives. I don't have the records to forecast the amount of money Speedway's parent company Marathon
Oil has ripped off consumers, or what penalties they face for contact violations with PepsiCo, Inc. I can't help but wonder how many other infractions Speedway violates with their contacted vendors? I've reported the Wall & 7th location refusing to give the $1 off 24-pk Pepsi products from approx March 2018 until whenever they stopped selling 24-pks altogether.
