Nice Ambience. Spacious Room. Upgrading For Interior of Room. Love the Daily Free Drink Inside Mini Refrigerator.

We travelled to Kuala Lumpur this summer with family and our travel agent insisted that we visit this park.

However it was a boring experience. The place was extremely crowded and not properly managed. The water park was small and anyone who has visited other water parks like those in Dubai would not enjoy this one much.

The other thing that turned me off was that they charge you for tubes, and do not provide towels. We did not carry towels as we expected that there will be towel stations. Well, there are towel stations, but you need to buy those towels. Needless to say they are expensive and not of a great quality.

The website advertises that there are 5 different parks inside the theme park. What the website easily forgets to mention is that there is a common entry and you are expected to visit all the 5 parks in the same go. You cannot go out and come back. This was another problem that we faced. We were travelling with small children and therefore had booked ourselves in Sunway's hotel that is adjacent (and connected) to the park. Our idea was that we will spend sometime in the park and then rest for a while in the hotel and then again visit the park. However, it seems, a special direct entry path to the park is the only benefit that we were entitled to for staying in the park. Boring experience. Will neither go back nor recommend to others to visit.

Great hotel with strategic location nearby to shopping mall (Sunway Piraymid), water park (Sunway Lagoon), hospital (Sunway Hospital), University (Sunway University) and etc..

The view from the room is amazing, the room itself is good in size, clean bathrooms, convenient to reach the most beautiful water park I ever visited in my life Sunway Lagoon, and most importantly, the buffet is amazing during the day. Extra advantage is that the hotel is so close to a very nice convention center that has a movie theater (cinema) and other amazing restaurants and shops. All in all, such a great place

Travelled to Sunway Resort with my family. We all had a fabulous time! The Mega Mall right next door meant that we didn't have to go far to buy those little extras like diapers etc! The Resort staff were all friendly and the porters and Concierges went out of their way to make us feel really welcome esp as we are Fijians! We didn't look like the 'expected' tourists so were well looked after! Another aspect that made our trip even more special was the fact that the Club Lounge 'accepted' children and semi formal wear! My husband was glad that he could wear shorts albeit dress shorts! I'm planning our next trip there. Hopefully soon!

The park is a one of the most beautiful outdoor park in Malaysia I have ever seen. There are different rides for adult, kids & children. You can enjoy various kinds of water games. The horror show is really horrible! Although many other show available in here. Many rides are unlimited with one ticket. The ticket for whole day. Easily a family can pass the whole day in the Sunway Lagoon.

Very nice hotel with good service and good food inside the hotel and outside the near by restaurants. They have two different types of accommodations the private villas with private swimming pool but only for adults and the normal hotel room if you have kids. Moreover, it has direct access to the water park and nice view to it also

In general its quite good. The level of cleanliness is above average and their handling is very good and its location is also good, somewhat close to services and to the airport near Selangor (other than the well-known Kuala Lumpur International Airport)
The games did not suit me, frankly, neither in terms of hygiene, nor privacy, nor hot weather, nor even the price of tickets. Make sure you book, as the ticket price is most likely not included in the room reservation price.
Also my reservation was for the Club category, which are more expensive rooms with more features. But unfortunately I went to a special coffee for this category and found the cup that was presented to me dirty and had traces of lipstick on it, something very disgusting, and when I told them they apologized and changed it
There is a good mall very close to the hotel.
The hotel is a bit old but do take care of it.

Health and ambiance issues

The Resort is very old and since opend in April 1993 has never ever renovated ! All rooms in this resort with no exception have extremely bad odour. We have changed our room 3 times at diffrent levels all have same bad smill which the staff confirmed and tryed to spray in the room but without real benefit. The staff informed the renovation is being undertaken in some floors changing the carpet.

Furniture is too old & resort is tooo crowded.

Summer season ..not recommended

The location of the staff is very nice, the staff treated the grandmothers of the Algerian brothers very well, and for me, I booked an executive suite. Floor number 21, suite number 2135, I expected that I was shocked by the bed mattress very bad. I asked for change, they said wings, I did not pay the difference and took a presidential suite. Himself and clear that it is old and have years Matgert Lin became light from the laundry, then took a room in Sun Way Clio Jdaaaaa clean and sophisticated and everything new

One of the best places in Malaysia is summery in all respects

This is the best 5 stars hotel out of KL city centre and most of my oversea friends loved it here. Once, you staying here, you won't have any extra times to travel anywhere in KL because every excitement is happened here within vicinity. They have Sunway Lagoon indoor attraction with mini animals zoo, Sunway Pyramid shopping mall, Movies theater, Family Karaoke, Skating Arcade, Bowling arcade, Arrow & Game arcade, alot of int'l and local eateries. It is really a family-kids friendly hotel. Recommended.
