Terrible experience. The associate working at my last visit was extremely rude. When I tried to ask a question regarding my session she immediately assumed that I was about to complain, cutting me off and refusing to listen. She informed me that she had seen my session on camera and when I objected was quick to inform me since it was closed circuit I could get over myself. So beware, you have zero privacy. The prices are far more than they ought to be IMO. I have decided that this year I'll be using a local spa in the area for my tanning needs. In the spirit of fairness, the facility is clean and well stocked with spacious rooms. They do a brisk business, though I believe that is somewhat due to limited options in the area. It isn't ALL bad, but having worked in customer service for many years, it all comes down to quality of service. This person may no longer work at this location as the incident occurred some time ago, Google Reviews brought the business to my attention asking for review

I purchase the premium pkg every year and I am very pleased with the service, value and convenience of Suntime Tanning. Excellent tanning facility. :)

Sun Time is a great place for all your tanning needs! The girls are always so sweet, and their product selection is fantastic. It's very clean and well decorated, and I always feel welcome when I go there, no matter how long it's been.

They typically run multiple specials so you can always find something that works for you and your budget!! EXCELLENT CLEAN BEDS!!!! Friendly staff.

I used this establishment for several years until the recent pandemic began. Due to covid I was asked to wait outside for over 30 minutes until I could come inside and use my bed. They stated there was a no person in the waiting area policy which I understood, due to covid. Then as I am using my bed, I could hear the employee conversating with a Caucasian man and woman who had just walked in, a conversation which lasted the duration of my stay. Then as I left, they were still standing in the waiting room waiting in line to use a bed. Shameful. I am African American and was required stand outside for over 30 minutes in 90 degree weather while the Caucasians were allowed to sit in the waiting room in comfort. I also suffer from chronic respiratory issues so this greatly upset me. I immediately cancelled my membership, and certainly would not recommend this place to ANYONE! I witnessed this type of behavior occur here several times, very despicable.

IF...... ELECTRIC BEACH... IN SOUTH CHARLESTON...... IS BAD THEN... EVERYONE SHOULD START GOING TO KAN CITY OR TEAYS VALLEY..... OR SWITCH TO ...... SUN TIME ON FLEDDERJOHN ROAD OUT CORRIDOR-G..

Beds are awful and the staff is rude. Will never go back.

I would have rated better in the past but due to todays experience I will probably cancel my memebership that I have had for years. All the girls have been really kind and wonderful to me over the years but 1 person can ruin a good business

I have had a spray tan membership for a few months and have had a positive experience until now. Today, the spray tan machine was broken and I understand that is bound to happen, but I was very unhappy with the way the sales associate handled the situation. I asked if I could use a regular tanning bed instead and she told me I would have to pay for it even though their spray tan machine was down and that my only other option would be to drive an hour away to their Charleston location. I will be canceling my membership. $50 a month for this type of service is not worth it in my opinion. It seems like the staff is not well trained in customer service. If you are looking to get a spray tan membership I would recommend sun tan city (it is cheaper).

CUSTOMER BEWARE: The staff was very helpful and friendly but if you are here for a spray tan do NOT waste your time and money. I had read very good review's and thought it was worth a try. I was wrong. When the Tan finally developed It was so blotchy I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I will try to upload photos. At first my peers asked me if I had done something wrong in the tanning process. I know for a fact I did everything correct the staff even showed me themselves exactly what to do. Possibly just a malfunction or just a really bad spray tan system. Please heed my warning and find somewhere for your tan.
