My review may be a bit biased, as Grand Cayman is my absolute favorite place in the world. This was our first fly-in, and we stayed at Sunshine Suites. Pleasant staff and prompt check-in. Booked a one-bedroom king suite for two adults. Clean room, well-stocked, and plenty of room to not get in one another's way.
The king suite comes complete with a pull-out sofa, two televisions, a full-size fridge, and stocked kitchenette. The main office sells (some) beer, sodas, and snacks. BUYER BEWARE: Two 12 oz. Coca Cola cans cost me $6/US.
Grounds were manicured nicely and clean. On-site dining options include Sunshine Cafe and Sunshine Grille. The former of the two is open for continental breakfast only, 630-930a. Diabetics beware, extremely limited options for you. The Sunshine Grille boasts a full breakfast menu (I highly recommend the omelet with spinach! ). Be sure to come back for lunch and dinner, too! Burgers are phenomenal - and huge!
Don't forget to stop by for a nightcap. Sit inside and enjoy a drink while chatting with staff and other guests, or relax around the color-changing pool.
Now affiliated with the Westin directly across the street on Seven Mile Beach, as a guest of SS, you have access to all of their amenities-gym, pools, beach chairs/ umbrellas, shopping, and dining
Sunshine Suites comes highly recommended by me! Should we return for another fly-in, we'll book here!
