Beautiful location, mostly excellent service. Restaurant s were wonderful, the Spa was amazing.

VERY disappointing suite, especially at over$400 a night.

I had requested a microwave weeks before our intended stay ( I wanted to prepare a simple but surprise breakfast for my husband s birthday). Upon our arrival there wasn t any microwave. When I called to ask about getting one they didn t believe it wasn t in our suite. They finally brought one later and when I went to use it the next morning it was filthy inside. It must have come from the employees break room.

There was a 2 burner cooktop but no cookware.

Blinds were disheveled, windows were very dirty, refrigerator was old, a phone that was 30 years old and didn t work well and TV remotes that were quite confusing.

There must not be ANY insulation between upper and lower rooms. The people above were incredibly noisy, waking us up. I think there were a herd of jumping elephants playing loud music.

I was informed that a manager would be in touch and of course, that has not happened.

If you stay at Sundance, be prepared for tired decor and definitely request an upstairs room/suite.

Great place to ski that offered a well-rounded mountain mainly for intermediate to very advanced riders and skiers. I'd say I'm intermediate and I liked the fact that I could go to the very top of the mountain (which had awesome views by the way) and still ski safely down a blue square trail (intermediate level). They offer a large skiing bowl called Bishop's Bowl for those looking to not be restricted by trails. One of the main lifts was down for quite some time, so that was a bummer. They also only have night skiing on certain days of the week (I went mid-December, so it might only be that way during the beginning of the season, I'm not sure).

Sundance is kind of a mixed bag. Its good but it could be amazing. I have never skied here before, but I have done lift serve biking a few times. At first blush it seems like a good deal in comparison to DV, but the lift is soooo painfully slow and the trails go from pedally cross country straight to hard DH with no in-between. And then there are a lot of steep chundery cat roads. They are deadly if you aren't paying attention. The food is decent. I love the atmosphere of the pub and restaurant. It is one of the most scenic places to ride in the area. But it could be so much more. I also don't understand the $7 pedal pass. There aren't any directional up trails. If you want to keep your life your not going to pedal up the down trails.

This is our favorite go-to getaway place when we need to escape from San Diego. When it is time to get out of the insanity of California this is where we head. No cell service in the Foundary Grill- no problem!

I went skiing. The lift and snow were great my only criticism would be you have to hike up to the bunny hill which isn't free like it is at most resorts. Also there is no real lodge that was weird. Good hill for beginners.

Sundance is our absolute favorite getaway destination. We decided to send our anniversary there this weekend and once again, everything was perfection. When we checked into our room, a card wishing us a happy anniversary as well as chocolate covered strawberries were set out for us. The concierge always made themselves available to drive us wherever we needed to be. We absolutely love sundance!

My husband and I got married at Sundance, and it was by far the best experience of our lives. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, especially during the fall. The staff is all very nice and welcoming, and the food is spectacular. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

We went up to get a sandwich at the deli and walk along the trails and we got 4 sandwiches and 3 sodas and paid over $60 and then the trails were blocked off for resort residents only. I used to work there and you could afford sandwiches and the trails were for everyone to explore. Things seem to be getting way too exclusive.

Didn't stay in the resort..But took the training for skiing. This has to be the best place to start your skiing lessons, they have got the best equipment and the best trainers in there. You feel so safe and the same time very excited..Our trainer Chris is the best..He was calm and very funny and helped us all the way until we learned

The views, snow, and ski runs are some of the best you can ski. Many different levels for every type of skier. Parking and lodge amenities are really outdated and the overall functionality of the resort is difficult to accompany large groups. New lodge and better services would go long way to make this the gem it should be for skiers in the south counties.

We went to the Foundry Grill for Sunday brunch. It had great food and great service. The bacon was cooked perfectly and the omlet station was maintained well. I would have like to see prime rib as they serve this at other buffets around the area. The desserts were also lacking. The only edible one was the coconut mousse.

I ate at the Forge for breakfast, and it was adequately good for the price. The service was acceptable, but not outstanding. The servers didn't refill our coffee cups until we asked him to. The ambiance was outstanding.

Sundance is one of my favorite places on Earth! Now, as a local rather than a tourist,I am constantly impressed with the skiing, the restaurants, the special events and the staff.I visit every chance I get.Recently,I had a mishap on the chairlift and Matt, the Ski Patrol was very attentive.Keep up the ambiance of this very special hidden gem!

it's a great place to go mountain biking especially if yoour not into uphill riding. They have a lift that cost 20$ for the whole day. Sundance also has regular activities like farmers markets and small concerts. In the winter it's a good place to go skiing. Highly recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous. Great facilities, cafe. Not the best resort for skiing, and definitely not for snowboarding. Lots of cat tracks, not a whole lot of runs, and less snow than resorts in big or little cwood canyons. So close though and much cheaper. Not bad at all though you will have a great day!

Beautiful mountain setting, resort is nestled in amount tall pines and golden Aspens with a babbling creek that meanders though the property. Friendly and help staff. Outstanding food and service. Tree Room dining was a special treat. Good connectivity in your room but limited cell service throughout facility. We are already planning our return family vacation.

Beautiful landscape, loved the smell of woods all over and very peaceful from the everyday norm. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away from city life. Took the ski lift up to the peak. There is also zip line tours, mountain biking(can rent mountain bikes) and hiking.

I won't go into the details because it would take a while, but we called the resort regarding a tricky problem with a gift card and had a superb customer experience. Also, the restaurants are absolutely delicious. Thanks Sundance!

We love the tree room, and that is the main reason we chose Sundance as our staycation for our 15th anniversary. However, our other activities did not disappoint either. We loved the zip line and the spa. The only downside is that if I'm going to spend $400 dollars a night on a room, I would like softer toilet paper and towels.

Sundance has majestic mountain views, but it's also charming and friendly. There's a rustic feel to the place that is hard to describe. They have a free tow rope for first-time skiers. It's kind of awesome and kind of horrible. (It can be challenging for uncoordinated first-timers.) Be sure to eat at Foundry Grill. Last time we went as part of a family gathering and we were worried about taking ten kids to a fancy restaurant. But the food was exceptional, and our server went out of his way to take care of everyone.

WOW! Sundance was such a great place to stay! From check-in to check-out the experience was awesome!! The drivers were personable and always there when needed to get us to whereever we needed to be on the resort property. I also left my laptop charger in my room when I checked out. I was still on resort property at a conference and they were able to deliver my charger to me before I left the property. Thank you Sundance!
