Did a beautiful two hour trail tour on horseback with Dennis as our guide. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous the entire time. Great view of Stewart Falls mid-way. We are novice riders and my son had never ridden. Dennis was awesome - patient and fun. Highly recommend.
Scenic my chilren never seen anything like this befor was beautiful
Such a beautiful place to visit if you like gorgeous scenery and good food. Perfect to impress your special someone even if it's just to go for a walk around the area.
One of my favorite places in earth. Yummy food too.
We went for Sunday brunch at Sundance. I thought the food was very good. I left no room to eat their homemade desserts next time I plan to leave room.
Sundance is an incredible resort. The perfect place to go if you want to disconnect from the hustle of everyday life and soak in the beauty around you. There's an ample amount of adventures waiting at Sundance, and there really is something for everyone. I recommend ziplining (no need for a GoPro, just soak it in), making pottery at the Art Shack, eating dinner at the Tree Room, and capping nights off at the Owl Bar. I love the history and thoughtfulness of this place. I will definitely be going back!
Love going to Sundance. We went for the moonlight lift ride and it was so fun! Kinda cold, so make sure you bring blankets and jackets!
My fiance asked for my hand in marriage this morning at Sundance right on the bridge overlooking the pond. It was where we went the very first day we met. Sundance provided us an everlasting memory!
I love this ski resort! The staff are friendly and helpful. I really love the ski trails they have there!
Charming place. Good views of the mountains, the people working there were nice. Bathrooms were large and clean. It has a fun rustic alpine chic feel that actually works. There are a couple of restaurants that are good, especially Sunday all you can eat brunch. The only reason I'd knock a star off is that the prices are eye-wateringly high. I get that it's high end and nice, but wow, I don't think it's worth it unless you have plenty of money. This is not just the restaurants, but also the clothes, home decor, etc.
Love this place!! It connects you with Family and nature at the same time, also lots of fun things to do.
Love this mountain. Not your spot if you're looking for high speed chairs. But if you are more about a local vibe, this is your spot.
Beautiful, fresh air, excellent ambience, amazing food, nice staff and clientel
The parking and getting to the eccles theater was a bit confusing. But the atmosphere and staff were great
Beautiful location and the full moon chair lift was a lot of fun
Up in the mountains with outdoor activities, restaurants and shopping along with lodge. Take the lift ride for a 45 minute viewing of the resort. They have a longer one if you want to go to the top of the mountain. This is a favorite spot for mountain biking.
It s a great place to go for dinner. The food at the restaurant is delicious. They have a range of items on the menu, including salmon, bison, and steak. If you have younger kids, they are very accommodating. It s a good place to go for a nice dinner.
My little getaway and it's the cheapest place even though the price is quickly rising. Some may say that the price is a little too spendy for the place. But it's still the cheapest place out of the rest.
although the Mountainside doesn't provide super challenging ski runs, this Resort is certainly one of the most gorgeous mountain scenes you will ever visit. In the fall the changing colors are absolutely breathtaking. Nearly every weekend there is a wedding or two that is begging to be crashed. Sunday evenings during the summer time they have free concerts on the grassy field at the base of the chair lift. If the price tag isn't an issue for you, then their cabins are high-end. there's always a very friendly crowd and you will often find people coming here from LA to enjoy the scenery.
The decor and atmosphere are absolutely fantastic. They have some good drinks and food. The service can be a little slow but still worth a trip.
I went on the zip line tour and it was incredible. Great service for an amazing time.
Great summertime hiking and zip lining. Fun for all ages.
Wonderful Outdoor activities, views, and restaurants . Great scenic stop for views and photos.
The rooms were super close to the mountain and very well kept! Picture place for a family get together!
Kind of chilly inside and out, but you're up on a mountain. What can you expect?
Day guest, snow was decent but turned icy in the afternoon. They manage the lines well despite the low number of available chair lifts at the base. I love the accessibility of this canyon and resort, it was very easy to get in and out at the busy hours. . Pricing is high vs. superior local alternatives. Overall a thumbs up experience, however.
We went up for dinner and the hostess told us they were closed for an hour until dinner. (At this point she wasn't rude, bit certainly disinterested and dull.)
We say we'll wait. We sit there an hour and wait.
When it's five and the guests at the lodge start coming in to be seated we go up to the same hostess, who then very dismissively informs us we didn't get a reservation and it'll be over an hour before she can possibly seat us.
Why didn't she share this info when we first approached her? Why couldn't she be as single iota friendly or helpful?
Is this acceptable customer service for this establishment?
These questions will remain unanswered as we will sure as hell never go there again.
Absolutely beautiful and the best pancakes I've ever had hands down!!
Never disappoints, best value when compared to Utah s other overpriced ski resorts
Great place to go for some good food and outdoor fun. The staff is friendly and there's a variety of things to do.
Went to the Owl Room for dinner with friends. Staff was incredibly nice and the atmosphere was very pleasant.
Love this place!!! I just got done having my work Christmas party in one of their meeting rooms. The building overlooked a tiny pond which was absolutely gorgeous. It was at night and they had small lights strung about while I was being encircled by mountains. It seemed almost magical. I will absolutely be going back again!
Went to the haunted ski lift and was not disappointed! Good stuff!
Great service, great rooms. The atmosphere in the mountains is beautiful.
Very high quality. The food tasted very good and the service was incredible
Very scenic and atmospheric, and the restaurant staff were extremely helpful. They knew all the meals and were tremendous. The bar was also very pleasant and thankfully very warm! This was an excellent place and I left with fond memories and a desire to return.
Such a great resort - everything was perfect, from the customer service to the rooms
Clean, beautiful area. House was had a little convoluted, but was still a nice place
We went to the Sundance Harvest Festival. It was very well organized and in a beautiful part of the state. There were ppl directing traffic and parking and driving shuttles. Great event, even despite the rain.
The service was great. The food was awesome with giant nachos at the top of the mountain! Love the runs but I wish some of them were a little longer. Pretty pricey but that's what you get with a ski resort.
Went for a zip tour only. Had a blast, the whole experience was smooth. They also recovered a lost item of mine quickly and easily. Only thing I don't like is the constant shuttling I had to do, but I guess it's inevitable given the resort layout.
Love coming here. Ski instructors are wonderful to my kids, staff is exceptional.
Great time teaching my son to ski. Good learning course.
We went to the Full Moon lift ride, and it was way cooler than I expected. I highly recommend it.
Truly lovely location, the cabin we stayed in was splendid.
Food was good, really pricey for a brunch buffet, slow service to refill drinks, slow to bring check. Ate at the foundry.
Take a step back in time while showing the quaint, non- commercialized side of a ski resort.
Gorgeous resort with tons of summer activities in addition to the winter skiing/snowboarding. Great for mountain biking, hiking, zip lining and enjoying the beautiful outdoor landscape that Utah has to offer.
What a great resort. The food in The Foundry Grill was superb. We dined for breakfast and Lunch on 2 occassions and the quality and service was superb. We also took the ski lift to the top of the mountain and it was amazing in autumn (fall) seeing all the trees turning red and orange.
Beautiful setting. Great ambience. Excellent food. Fun watching skiers!
My sister and I needed a short retreat into nature after staying at home for so long. This was perfect and a short drive from Salt Lake City. Our mountain suite was comfy and we ordered dinner from the Foundry Grill (Fried chicken delicious.) Special shout out to Ashley Couchis at the front desk. She took excellent care of us. Only cons: resort could use a little fresh up such as tired, splintered-wood in the cabins, sign touch ups (some a bit unreadable), dead branches on trees. The dead tree in front of our deck would enhance the view so much if it was removed.
We booked a place through Stewart Mountain lodging. Absolutely beautiful. Sundance Resort is very quiet and wonderful.
Resort is a little smaller compared to other resorts in Utah and the lifts are really slow, but it is a great homely resort with fantastic terrian.
Sundance rocks! We just bought season passes and enjoyed our first day in the slots on Saturday. There is a nice range of ski runs for all ability levels and the line for the lift moves quickly. Plus it's just absolutely gorgeous up in those mountains.
Is easy to get there, don't take too much time to go to the top of the mountain and is beautiful.
It was night when I went. Still pretty and lots of fun
Everything was great! Service was friendly, atmosphere was peaceful. Perfect!
Wonderful atmosphere and attention to detail. A mountain retreat minutes from Salt Lake City.
Super nice place. Staff is great. Artist barn is awesome
Sundance is magical. We visit several times a year. We especially love to walk around, shop and eat at the restaurants.
We love Sundance. Season passes are reasonable and location is great. A smaller resort with a perfect quaint feel. Runs for everyone in the family. Instructors here are great. We've had kids of almost every age take snowboarding or skiing lessons and never had a bad experience or even an ok experience, it has always been great. Everyone who works here has always been patient, helpful and good natured. It is just a lovely place to spend a few hours or a whole day.
The resort would have to be awful to take away from the natural beauty of the area. The resort is definitely not awful!
My friends and I came to Sundance to go on the zip lining tour. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't very cooperative and it rained during most of the excursion. Despite every other group cancelling, we decided to go ahead and zip line. The tour guides were very accommodating and gave us special treatment because we were the only group participating. They drove us up the mountain instead of using the lifts which weren't operating. The views and overall experience were awesome. Dave and Luke were awesome guides and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone!
This is how we Sundance - The staff was fabulous and treated us so well! So friendly. We enjoyed walking around the premises and ate at the cafe. The sandwiches are so good! I had the bacon and Turkey with avocado. My husband had the Italian and said it was the best! Don't miss out on the cookies! Fresh ingredients, like farm fresh on everything. Come prepared to have a lovely day!
Also, the store is so cute. I appreciate the offerings and got a t-shirt and bag as a souvenir.
We took the tram up the mountain and it was so worth the views! Don't miss it! Thank you Sundance for the most memorable day our family has ever had!
Lovely place.
Attended a conference here and had a great stay. All members of the staff were kind and helpful, and I didn't have any issues while there. The rooms are really cool--more of a cabin feel than anywhere else I've stayed, though it does mean you have to walk a bit, depending on where you're going at the resort. Despite it being freezing temperatures the entire time I was there, I didn't mind walking everywhere because they have neat little trails and signs that direct you wherever you need to go on the resort.
I also took time to ski and get a massage while here, and highly recommend both amenities. Everything about this resort gives the "getaway" vibe, and it was awesome to experience.
Beautiful setting. Food is reasonably priced. 19 percent tip added to parties of 6 or more people. Friendly staff and good food.
Beautiful, unique mountain resort. Food, atmosphere, history
Purchased online tickets for a Full Moon lift ride. Arrived to a full parking lot; asked attendant if we should "circle around". Brusquely told, "No, I need you to LEAVE." And so we did. Isn't it wire fraud to sell tickets that are impossible to redeem?
I really liked the lessons for snowboarding. Parker from Texas really helped me get better
