Friendly greeting at the front entrance with fast check in. Dining at the Portals restaurant with great service. Spacious and clean room with a lovely view of the river valley. Nice little coffee shop just off the main lobby with plenty of seating areas to enjoy the view. Nice place to get away for the weekend!

Still short of staff. We stayed at Inn 7/20-22. There were no reception or bell staff, had to go back to Lodge 3 times for room key when our room was finally cleaned at 4:30, finally had engineer staff come and fix lock at 5:15. Restaurant and bar in Inn closed, presumably due to lack of staff. Tried the bar at the winery, reservations required (for bar!), no space available. Drove in to town for a nice meal. Wanted to try water slides, but they were also closed due to short staff. Indoor pool also closed. Still charged the $66 resort fee . Lovely setting, nice room, but we re not likely to return.

Overall experience was good if you are willing to take care of yourself during your stay. Don't expect to get what you need if not already clearly mark when booking the room (no mini-fridge, no kettle, microwave, nothing extra including such as gym mat). Gym, spa, and other restaurants are not on the property - so expect to have to dress up to go anywhere. The room was fine, but not so clean (bathroom yuk). The staff is great when they wear their mask properly. I wish there was a Starbucks onsite!
Bring your bike, good hiking shoes, snacks, and a cooler and you'll have a great stay!

Update:

Resort Manager Mo was really helpful and understood our concerns, also helped us check out even a day earlier since we were not happy about the overall experience.

Adding a star for all other amenities (Hot tub, heated pool) we were able to use which were great

We booked the Inn at Suncadia for my wife s birthday in September 2021. We did not had a good overall experience and surely not coming back, I suggest you stay away as well! Below are few details

Check Inn:
For Inn you need to check-in at the lodge, we paid for a golf course view room. The lady at the check inn gave us room 15 and was confident it was a golf view room. It turned out all I could see from the room was the parking lot! When I went back asking for what I paid for they said they are all booked and can not do anything now! (They did provide some resort credit and I added a star for that) but the Birthday trip was spoiled looking at the parking lot :(
I was told a supervisor would reach out but never heard from anyone, I guess they don t care for the guest once they pay! They just want you to shut up and take whatever they offer

Rooms:
At first look rooms looked nice and eventually the downward journey started, room bedding had some pungent smell and we could barely sleep at the night, to add the beds were the worst beds I have ever slept on. We could literally feel the springs all night. I bet a motel on the highway would have better beds than this 3-4 star resort. We decided to use our sleeping bags and sleep on the floor.

They really need to improve the customer service and overall hygiene and cleanness in the room

No complaints. Staff, cleanliness, price, spacious room, and welcome was excellent. It was a great couples retreat and I could see families, celebrations, and business team events enjoying this property as well. The dinning prices were fair, I enjoyed golfing, and relaxed at the spa for $65 at the end of the trip. If you need anything, you can text the front desk and they respond quickly to your needs. I will be certainly returning this fall. Thankful for this restful getaway resort.

Remember to use . when booking any stay. This web site will compare hundreds of booking web sites and normally will have rates a lot cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This resort is the best rated in the area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely will love it I'm sure!

Fun weekend getaway with girlfriends. Amenities were great. Much needed spa, delicious food and tasty spirits!! Nice to see all the Services are back!

Idyllic resort deep in forests east of Seattle. A friend and I are staying in rooms at The Lodge and there are plenty of other types of accommodation. Beautiful location with trails, rivers and golfing. A terrific place for us with our dogs and would be perfect for families too.

Update: the Lodge staff were really great. We had several requests while we were there and the folks were great, responsive and friendly. Particularly Shane, Aaron and Russ.

This is a gorgeous resort and is very picturesque. It has several trails to be lost in nature and experience tranquility. This is a great weekend getaway for families and couples with just over an hour s drive from Seattle.

Beautiful and serene location, conveniently located about an hour and a half from Seattle. Miles of walking and hiking trails, and 2 well designed golf courses. Bring everything you might need, shopping is several miles away.

We paid almost $500/per night for an upgraded suite with a private hot tub. For this price I would never expect to clean my own room, but that's what we did! When we first arrived to the hotel we struggled to get through the doors with our luggage, stroller, and two small children. Once we made it into the lobby we saw a group of staff standing and talking. It would have been nice of them to help us. After we got checked in and to our room it was obvious it hadn't been fully cleaned. There was a pair of socks on the floor, chunks of food, and paper scraps. The shower had lots of mold and a large hair ball. I went to the front desk to ask if the room had been cleaned, they assured me it had but that they would send housekeeping to our room. When they arrived they told us they could NOT clean but they could bring me a vacuum and wait in the hall for me to vacuum. So for a nearly $1000 stay I cleaned the room myself! Then we discovered that the hot tub didn't work. Again, we informed the front desk that it had no power at all. They said they would have someone come to fix it but that never happened. We followed up on this multiple times per day. I asked for the $110 per night upgrade cost to be refunded and got back $100. We were supposed to get back an $80 refund but we still haven't gotten that back either. The water slides were closed, the farm pool was closed (that we had specifically confirmed this would be open to take our kids). Overall this was an awful stay and I'm so disappointed! This was the most expensive hotel we've ever booked and it was terrible quality, cleanliness, and service from start to finish. I'd love to get a refund for at least a good portion of this stay!
