This company has to be one of the most honest companies we have ever dealt with! Our tech, Sam, was very knowledgeable & had our problem fixed in a few minutes! Very friendly staff!! We would highly recommend this company!

Paul did a great job! He came in and went straight to the panel to start at the source which fixed the bad breaker he replaced. He was very confident in his work and made sure the outlets were working before he left.

My lights in my house had been flickering for the past couple weeks and I called my home warranty company. The warranty company sent out Sunbelt Electric for my call. I must admit I had low expectations as I had worked with companies for other issues with my home warranty. Frank was the technician who responded to my house call. Not only was he extremely professional, polite, and arrived on time calling ahead to tell me that he was arriving soon, but he did little things that most other home call service technicians don't do such as wiping his feet before he comes in the house, making sure that he is not tracking anything into the house and avoiding walking on carpets and cleaning up after himself. After explaining everything in thorough detail and waiting around to make sure the problem was solved he then showed me how much I saved by calling the home warranty and how much it would have cost me had I called him directly. He even asked if I had any other questions and when I told him I had a problem with the electricity running to my pool pump he took a look at that too and offered his advice.

I won't hesitate to call Frank at Sunbelt for any future needs.

Sunbelt Electric will be the only company we will ever call for our electrical needs. Dave the Tech was personable, quick and efficient. He problem solved our ceiling fan with ease and efficiency. I love how the company sends texts and alerts to let us know exactly when to expect the technicians AND Dave personally called when he was 15 minutes away. LOVE THAT!

Today Sunbelt Electric sent out a tech named Frank to fix a ceiling fan in my home and a short switch in the hall. Frank was a great tech he was prompt, very knowledgeable, friendly and respectful. Very professional and efficient. I would highly recommend Sunbelt Electric to all my friends and family for their electrical needs.

I couldn t be happier with my experience! My electrician, Dave, needed more time to properly fix my situation, so he was back again the next morning. My house is close to 80 years old, with some remodel head-scratchers, so I was very impressed with Dave s determination to find and fix the problem. Not only was Dave a super nice guy, but this company is extremely well set up. They send you GPS info to let you know when your technician will be arriving. Why aren t every businesses doing this?? It amazing, and should be so simple these days. If you don t know where to start, call Sunbelt. If you have a 50+ year old home you should probably mention that so you can schedule an extended appointment just in case.

Update to owner's response: As my review stated I did replicate the problem while the technician was there, he refused to acknowledge it.

Original review:
I had a poor experience with this company, mainly the technician I dealt with who had poor communication skills. I have a few GFCI outlets tht seemed to be tripping at random, so I figured they needed to be replaced since they are over 10 years old and a family friend electrician suggested to get new ones. I decided to just go with my with my home warranty company in case there was more to the problem than that, and they chose Sunbelt Electric. The technician who was dispatched to my house called before he came and I explained the situation and he said unless I could show them trip in front of them he couldn't do anything for me. Since they tripped at random I cancelled the call so I wouldn't be charged. Days later I tried to vacuum out my car and my vacuum would make them trip, so I placed another call. When he came out, he didn't even care to have me show him that they would trip using a vacuum and went around plugged a small night light in each one, which of course didn't trip it. He didn't do any other diagnostic tests or investigate if there was an underlying problem, but just said "motors and hair straighteners will make every GFCI trip" which seemed bogus to me since I have never seen a hair straightener or vacuum trip a GFCI like this in all 30+ years I have been alive. He said he had to go to a nearby appointment but would call the home warranty and come back after he got a hold of them. Minutes later he called me back and said the home warranty would not cover it because he told them they are functioning since he could plug a small night light into them and they wouldn't trip from that. It was as if he didn't understand that people use other things in their home besides night lights! So I got charged a service call for nothing because he led me to believe that if I could show him they weren't functioning properly they would be replaced. It seems like he just wanted to collect his service call fee and get out. When I asked him if he would be annoyed if he had this problem he refused to answer and just hung up. So I guess according to a "professional" my electrical system "works fine." This experience was such a waste of my time and money. Perhaps other electricians working for this company are better but based on my experience I have to give 1 star. Sorry Sunbelt. The tech's name on the card was "Sam," if anyone would like to know.

Ken, was great! He is was on time, professional, knowledgeable, informative and overall pleasure to deal with. He handled the problems quickly, cleaned up and kept us informed through the process. Overall great experience and would have them out again. We had a outlet sparking and some other outlets that were out. All fixed in one visit and even fixed another plug that was loose.

Dave was great! Our home warranty company sent him out when there was an electrical issue with our brand new water heater. He diagnosed and fixed the problem in less than half an hour, and also helped us with another small electrical problem we were having. Very happy with the service, will definitely use the company again.

It is a scam - I had a service call with SunBelt through a home warranty. Described to the dispatcher the problem (broken ceiling electrical box), was reassured it was no problem, got a technician the next day.
The guy says he doesn't have a box like that in his truck, would need to get a new one, and leaves.
Call dispatcher again to set up a new appointment, she says the home warranty company won't cover the repair. Apparently it wasn't clear to her when the appointment was scheduled (I described the problem to her very clearly). Apparently they consider it part of an electrical fixture (it is not) and thus it is not covered.
Of course now that the technician showed up, I am on the hook for the $75 service charge. $75 for 15 seconds of his precious time.
BTW, the home warranty company is Fidelity National. One star review coming up.

My husband and I recently replaced our A/C units at our home and wound up needing a special quad breaker to be installed in our electrical panel. Our HVAC company attempted to complete this, however, they were not able to find the speciality part necessary . Frank Santella with Sunbelt came to our rescue! Frank came up with the proper and safe solution so we now have A/C again. Frank and his team are very professional and reliable. I would refer Frank to my family, friends and real estate clients.

To start, I had to adjust my schedule with only a few days notice and the rep I spoke to no the phone was very friendly and accommodated me no problem. Jim arrived after a heads-up phone call, he was very courteous and was able to fix some mysterious wiring issues very quickly. He took the time to explain everything to me and did an overall great job. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Frank and his team at Sunbelt are fantastic! I would highly recommend them (and do) for any type of residential or commercial electrical work. We were in a pinch and needed to get a repair done right away because we lost power to the whole house. Sunbelt was able to get a tech out right away and had the issue resolved in minutes. They could have taken advantage of the fact that we were without power and would have paid whatever price they quoted, but they were more than fair and did a great job. Thank you to Frank and his entire team at Sunbelt!

Scheduling was done swiftly; telephone and email confirmations followed; also a
Same day reminder and an "On the way" call were sent by Connor, our service tech, who arrived ten minutes early (organized, eager and pleasant). He explained what could be the problem with our Casa Blanca ceiling fan and proceeded to test and eliminate one of the two possibilities. He then gave us 3 options...we chose to have it restored. It would take 3-6 weeks....we said OK. He swiftly and carefully removed it and wrapped it in our old towels he requested. Our fan was surprisingly repaired early and reinstalled within 4 days...with emails, phone scheduling & perfect ETA in place, with the same care, efficiency and professionalism by Connor and the team.
WOW...EXCELLENCE from beginning to end throughout the whole company and its affiliates, too !!!

He called ahead, informing us he was able to arrive prior to time window given. Once onsite, Cole quickly diagnosed, identified and fixed the problem. Awesome service!

Needed to replace 2 exhaust fans.

Needed to replace 2 exhaust fans.
And when tech came i said another seems to be more quiet than usual.

My warranty chose this company for me.

When tech left he was on time and professional and replaced only 1 fan. The other exhaust fan still broken and the main one in vanity area nothing was done just looked at it said it was ok.

When I looked to see the other fan not even working after he left I immediately called and said can you reach tech to see why other fan not replaced they said ticket closed and have to do another service call to get tech out again even though he just left like 5 min ago. They said sorry ticket closed tech onto another job nothing I can do.
As a customer service person you would think let me call tech since he is not far and see what happned.
Then I asked for manager same thing nothing I can do put another ticket and I cant or actually again manager is unwilling to call to see what happened during visit. If they wanted another service fee in would have paid it just to get it replaced and not take a day off to wait for another tech to come out and replace. I think your company just did not provide basic customer service and call tech see what happened send him back to replace since he was not far when I called and add to the bill if needed instead of making someone redo a ticket and wait for another appointment.

We were referred AHS (home warranty company) and the technician that came out was Sam. Our issue didn't end up being electrical and rather that of our pool motor but Sam was very helpful, honest and professional. He helped us set up a new appt with a pool company without having to pay another service fee. Highly recommend Sunbelt and Sam! I'll be sure to use them again.

Although this was the 2nd time the technician was at the house for the same issue (there was a misunderstanding the first time), this time it was taken care of very quickly and professionally. He also took care of a couple other issues that needed fixing. He also gave me some helpful suggestions on how to deal with other situations.

Sunbelt came and did their job and they were good. BUT American Home Shield is the worse. We have been waiting for heating in our home for now 6 days and American Home Shield is slow on their feet to provide fast service in getting it to us. During a 7-day period between plumbing issues and heating issues it has been a fiasco with them. Hopefully tomorrow we will get someone in to repair the furnace
