This school is so bad that I don't even speak English
Summit had been such a blessing to our lives. My son learns best in a structured environment and Summit offers just that. We have seen his grades do a complete 360 simply by putting him in the structured setting Summit provides. I am so happy we found Summit Leadership Academy.
This is one of the best schools out here my son has been coming here for an year and is doing well and my neighbor son use to come here and turned out great
The school is pretty decent but the "Owner" isn't ready to talk about the "Issue's" the school has. They don't care about their kids or staff. They even forced a teacher to resign because they believed a group of kids over their own staff over basically the whole school which is sad. The school is pretty small. One of our teams made it to state. But then we couldn't go cause they forced him to quit. We trained and did all that hard work for nothing basically. They just wasted my time.
To the Owner: Once your ready to talk you know where to find me.
I go to this school as a 9th grade cadet and love it
My child comes home almost every day because the teachers choose to force all students to be physically fit, because 10 people don't do what the young leaders tell them not to do
and when the young leaders say something to the wrong people, they get trouble because they tried
Started out great, then went down hill really fast. Instructors were more into marching the kids for disciplinary actions, during class, rather than actually teaching the curriculum.
this school needs to build itself from the ground up again and kick out out all the problem kids who make the school look bad and ruin its reputation as a charter school
Horrible School no education being taught just discipline
This is a most unaccountable school that lacks serious communication between parents and staff/teachers...
If you are thinking about enrolling your child as a student, it would be wise to verify credentials and particularly be very very wise and rethink on using their home-study which is a failure!
Very good school, military, fire and law enforcement learning and physical fitness training.
This school needs serious help and should maybe shut down for everyone's sake.
The teachers are great but the administrators are completely worthless. They want to put money in their pockets and turn away from the kids. The Academy instructors are great my child talks about the fire instructor all the time. The SkillsUSA team made it to state and then their coach had to leave because the school would not help him with the students at the school. The students have to worry about the gangs that basically run the school.
Terrible school to ever take your child to. More than half of the students wish they didn t go there and there s no education being taught.
The place is unprofessional and staff are not properly trained.
Serious communication issues between teachers, office staff and parents. Several times I called to get a message to my children (pick up and drop off info) and my children never got any messages. Teachers don't reply to "called in" messages. Drugs being sold on campus by other students is a regular occurrence. There is more PT going on during class than learning. Most of the 2016-2017 school year was focussed mostly on starting the new Jr. High school. Not happy with this school. They promise one thing, open door policy to our children to speak to spacific office staff, and then just turned their backs on the kids.
