Summit aviation Review

Utter Excellence. Summit has never ceased to leave me amazed. Whether it comes to staff, recourses, flexibility, professionalism, you name it, Summit does it flawlessly. I've been with Summit for almost 2 years and they have always been accommodating, incredibly helpful, and offer a great environment to learn in. I would recommend Summit and their flight training program to anyone and everyone I know who is seeking out the first steps to becoming an amazing pilot. 5 stars hands down.

I recently took the 3-day mountain flying course at Summit Aviation. Over about 5 hours of ground instruction and 10 hours in the plane, it was a thorough introduction to mountain winds and weather, density altitude, flight planning, crossing ridges, landing at back country airstrips and turning in canyons. The aircraft at Summit are new, clean, hangared and well-maintained (I flew two of the DA-40s). The flight school is efficient and well-run, and the instructors are very professional. They make it easy for you in handling the pre-flight and the comms, so you get the most for your time in the aircraft. I really enjoyed training with Justin Waugh.

The scenery around KBZN is stunning and flying there is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our flights took us over the Bridger Range, Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Tetons near Driggs (KEKS, 29S, KWYS, KDIJ). I highly recommend Summit Aviation and hope I can come back to fly there again soon.

Summit Aviation runs a first-class operation. The instructors are fantastic, and the staff are always friendly. I've never walked out without a smile. The planes are meticulously maintained and are wonderful to fly. I would highly recommend anyone in the Bozeman area to flight train with Summit.

I began my first steps in my aviation career at Summit Aviation. I completed my flight training from Private Pilot to Certified Flight Instructor and I couldn t have asked for a better training environment and staff to help guide me on my path towards becoming a professional pilot!

This is a great school which caters to all learning styles and types. Instructors are very knowledgeable, safe and well experienced will all aircraft in the fleet. This is a one stop school allowing you to go from no flying experience, all the way to a certified flight instructor. I highly recommend Summit aviation to anyone interested in getting into the air.

I have been flying with summit since late July and it is hands down the best experience i have ever had in my life! The instructors along with the entire Summit team are extremely knowledgeable and they completely boost your passion for flying! If you are looking to fly for a career or want to learn to fly just for the fun and excitement, this is defiantly the place to be!

Summit Aviation is a fantastic flight school. The instructors and staff are very professional and knowledgable. My goal for 2016 was to get my instrument rating and Summit Aviation helped me accomplish this goal successfully and in a timely matter. I am 32 and wanted to get back into flying and to gain my IFR rating so I can fly safely using instruments for my business and for personal trips. My instructor Tucker Ott was great. He was always on time and prepared. Tucker is extremely driven and knowledgable in the world of aviation. There were a couple times I was re-scheduled with other instructors so I could get flights in at various other times. Summit is able to schedule students consistently so you have a set schedule which will help you get your rating in the least time possible. The Diamond DA-40 and DA-20 are excellent planes to train in and fun to fly. All the staff called me by name whenever I was out at Summit and made me feel welcome. I would recommend Summit Aviation to any pilot looking for a top notch learning experience.

Great staff! They answered all my questions and built the flight training around my schedule. I was able to fly evenings, weekends, and even slip in a flight after dropping my kids off at school. The chief instructor took time to sit down with me and figure out the cheapest way to complete my training. Anyone wanting to learn to fly or charter definitely needs to start here. Don't waste your time elsewhere.
