Summit Aviation is a fantastic flight school. The instructors and staff are very professional and knowledgable. My goal for 2016 was to get my instrument rating and Summit Aviation helped me accomplish this goal successfully and in a timely matter. I am 32 and wanted to get back into flying and to gain my IFR rating so I can fly safely using instruments for my business and for personal trips. My instructor Tucker Ott was great. He was always on time and prepared. Tucker is extremely driven and knowledgable in the world of aviation. There were a couple times I was re-scheduled with other instructors so I could get flights in at various other times. Summit is able to schedule students consistently so you have a set schedule which will help you get your rating in the least time possible. The Diamond DA-40 and DA-20 are excellent planes to train in and fun to fly. All the staff called me by name whenever I was out at Summit and made me feel welcome. I would recommend Summit Aviation to any pilot looking for a top notch learning experience.
