Great school,

Has some flaws but it is overall a great school that cares about your child's education. They are a great school for everybody. The staff will give your child all the information they know. I Love SCCS

Can't speak for everyone but I have had experiences with some teachers and management and they truly care about helping students have experiences that will help them in the real world.

Example: The IT director chose the software specifically because it is what working people use. Other schools use whichever is cheapest or easiest.

The food is not always good k-2 grade food is hot and 3-8 grade food is cold. There are pest, and other certain things that shouldn't be in a school some of the teachers are bad they don't teach if they was supposed to. They kids hate the uniforms and don't want to wear them but they do have some good teachers and rules but the rest of things are bad they even have a janitor that stares at girls when they walk pass him

I will not stop until this school is closed down. I have contacted the news, county officials, Lawyers. This school uses unfair practices to conduct business and unfair practices to terminate employees. Anquinette Marsh is the Devil and she is manipulative. I am not going to stop talking until someone has her terminated. She does not even care about the kindergarten students. I will be publishing a story about this school and her discriminatory antics.

I ve had enough of Sugar Creek charter school for the last 4 years They ve targeted my child they just recently suspended him from the bus for five days due to an unfortunate situation that happened with a fellow student at the school my child cries all weekend long I received a phone call stating my son will be suspended from the bus due to him crying uncontrollably and telling his fellow classmates what was told to him by their staff so my son was expressing his feelings by crying and the end result of that was suspension. I went up to the school to try to get to the bottom of the situation I was able to talk to transportation until Ms.Barnes arrived later and told me I have better things to do than sit here and talk to you about what we ve been dealing with this is what me and my son has been going through with Sugar Creek Charter school

My daughter been there since kindergarten now she a second grader. Mrs Chambers, Mrs Patio, Mr Roberts, Mrs Walker , Mrs Coxare some of the best you will ever get. The only reason why the school only got four stars is because they need more buses and more bus stops also it take to long to get home and they leave home to early. So now mines is a car rider due to that also they need more uniform options and shoe options and more wear you're own gear day.

I attended a job fair here today with the expectation that you would be interviewed on the spot because of course this is what happens at a job fair. Was told that they were just screening folks. You can t screen over the phone? You can tell that the reviews about them are correct, high turn overrate and your job is based off of how much you are liked and not how you perform. School looks very beautiful, but the personality of the staff was extremely unfriendly including the principle. I went to the fair despite all the horrible reviews and high turnover and I am now wishing I just remained in bed.

The only problem I have with the school is the cost of uniforms it is so expensive!!!!! I mean what if a family was struggling and really couldn't afford uniforms for there children???? The head person should really consider a cheaper option for the uniforms I spent $250 for shirts and belt 2 ties for 2 children y'all gotta do better. Thank I had the money to do so but what about the single mom who don't have it like that??

Considering the number of students and staff this school has grown to, it still possesses a family friendly atmosphere. My child has been here since kindergarten and is now in 3rd grade. Mrs. Graham has been an integral part of her and my life since she got there. Always caring and going above the call to duty. She has offered and assisted my daughter with tutoring and been a great liaison between the classroom teacher and myself. Also, Mrs. Cooper has been a blessing as well and is fair. I would like to see more stability with staff and not such a big turn over every year but as long as Mrs. Graham and Mrs. Cooper stay, at least until my child graduates, I will be okay!! :)

My daughter has done GREAT academically at this school! Her teacher Ms. Howard was absolutely AWESOME! I've had CONSTANT issues with the transportation department though. Bus late, never consistently pick up or drop off on time, or answer the phone...I'm currently looking to enroll her I to another Charter school.
