Attended an industry event, so possibly not quite comparable to daily menu. As always, a quality kitchen, which does not reach the level of the best in town.

A perfect evening with extremely competent and friendly waiters. The food was amazing, a party fireworks in flavor and serving.

Delicious food at reasonable price, where quality and price are linked. The service was sweet and helpful in terms of what suited the beverage to the food.

We have never experienced such a bad price-performance ratio as in this restaurant. I have never eaten so expensive in my life and have never drunk such bad wine. The first bottle of white wine was a cider and not a high-quality white wine as we were initially offered. Obviously this wine had been squeezed together behind the counter. The landlord did not open the bottle in front of the guest but in the back room. With the second bottle of white wine, we were presented with an old, slightly fermented wine. A wine from the year 2012 without a bouquet and with a stale taste. A price for a bottle of bad white wine in the amount of 130 . An insolence. We have never seen anything like it. We paid around 750 for the food and wine for four people. The portions were very small and very simple and not really refined. No high-quality dishes were served either.

When we finally complained about the poor quality of the food and wine, the landlord became very loud and really insolent. He slapped the counter with the palm of his hand and screamed and shouted almost the whole place. It was grotesque to pay so much money and to be treated so badly and insolently by the landlord. Where did we end up here? Before it would become palpable, we decided to leave the restaurant - of course not without paying the overpriced bill. It was really not a nice evening and we were very disappointed. This restaurant does not deserve a Michelin star or any other award. I do not recommend visiting this place under any circumstances.

Price and experience are perfectly connected. Incredibly nice operation.

Great experience, I chose to get the juice menu, this one was super paired with the dishes and gave a really good game to the food. Highly recommended

Friday, September 2, 2016, we had ordered a table. We had chosen 4 dishes and associated wine menu. And we got a great experience. The buckles are tasty food, arranged in the buckles in bowls and plates. Some of the food was eaten with wooden cutlery. The wine was perfect for the food.
The service was also perfect, the waiter was there, without hanging over us. The starlight turned on and the salt removed before dessert. Once the food was served and the wines were poured into glass, we were thoroughly informed about what to eat and drink. They also had a little talk, in the right way.
Toilet was also needed, also here was a good atmosphere, candles which of course were lit delicious little towels per day. person thrown into a basket after use. It was clean and fragrant all evening.
I am from the restaurant industry and always have a but ....... But not this time. A perfect experience where everything goes together in a higher unit. Definitely worth a visit each and all.
NB we were all saturated and in high spirits as we walked.

Really delicious food and go service. A restaurant if you want really gourmet food.

Relaxed environment. Great service and top class food.

Unfortunately, we, a company of 10, did not have a stellar experience during our visit to Substance. Expectations were high and that is always dangerous. We were given a 7 course menu, and it should be fair to say that several of the dishes were quite excellent. But ... the wine menu that followed the dishes was a very mixed pleasure, and when we asked if there was an alternative to the dish in question, the answer was no !. We were a bunch of M / K and when one of Merne gently asked if you could ask for some bread for the (very) small dishes, the answer was no! - with the result that we were two who had to go home in the fridge afterwards !!. The presentation of the food was incredibly sloppy and was ripped off with great urgency. AND ... the toilets are not worth a visit.
So, unfortunately, the conclusion was that it takes a long time, if ever, before we make our way past Substance. There was too little substance.

Lovely and wonderful experience of wonderful taste experiences ... however, I was missing a small piece of real meat.

A fantastic experience. The food is innovative, creative and very delicious. You really get around with the 13 servings. The wine menu is super well-tuned and contains exciting wine. (There is also a possibility for juice now.) There is a lot of focus on ecology gold mark). The atmosphere is nice and relaxed, but the service is all through professional and the waiters are very attentive without being intrusive. There is really value-for-money. Definitely worth at least one star. I probably had two Michelin, but the guide is a little conservative in terms of white tablecloth and ala carte requirements. Take for everything in the world menu.

I've only been here once and that was before the restaurant got its well-deserved Michelin star - but hold on where it was just a super experience!

Pleasant surprise on a Wednesday!

Went for the good wine menu - even as an offer on a Wednesday (and Tuesday) and ended up having a particularly delicious meal in the package.

All 4 dishes were well composed and a little experience separately - together with the wine it all went into a higher unit.

Service was impeccable and punctual - even cheerful in the no-obligation way - quite refreshing.

For the price, it was an unsurpassed dining experience! Thank you
