Great concerts great fun just get me a full hookup!

Enjoyed concerts, but they need more bathrooms, when it rains there is mud everywhere, even on toilet seat and lines are super long. Parking for bikes for concerts is on a incline and it is hard to park plus harder to leave because you get boxed in. Other than that enjoyed my time there.

Love the place had a great time when we seen George Thorogood back in 2017 Great Place lots to do here!

I've always had very memorable times at the Buffalo chip.

Nothing happing here in early April. Just wait a few weeks, and it'll be a hopping.

I didn t stay at the chip but I came there to get a tattoo at the tattoo cafe by Shaun Kama. It was awesome and I m so glad I was able to get home to work on me. He is a amazing artist and human being. I fully intend to work with him again in the future!

Watched the inaugural flat track race and Shinedown concert during bike week. Had a blast, I will be back for 2018.

It was too dusty, they could water the race track but not the other paths, Porta potties were terrible. We definitely wouldn't go back during the rally.

Everyone must come here at least once in their lifetime.

Epic concert venue, some of the best concerts end up at The Chip.

Horrible! So dirty, no security, $9 just to shower. Very very long walks to concerts, lots of lawn chairs up front so you cannot get even remotely close. No access to alcohol. Very few restrooms. Highly over priced. Will not be back.

Last year 2018 we had the opportunity to hang with some friends just before the Lynard show , and decided that we wanted to stay next year at the chip and take in all the shows and entertainment they have. We checked in to get our wrist band for the nights show and the young lady was very kind and helpful. Great experience and only confirmed out decision for 2019. We can't wait.

I called to ask for a concert time and at first, no one answered for several calls and when someone did, she was super rude, didn t give me the time and hung up. If you want to spend your hard earned money on poo customer service, you found the right place.

Can't wait for this year's show, nothing beats the Chip!

Had a great time. A little disorganized on arrival but had a great trip.

Cool venue for concerts and entertainment, but dont plan on ever sleeping. People ride motorcycles and atvs completely drunk all hours of the day and night. Very dangerous if your in a tent trying to sleep and somebody runs you over. Bathrooms and showers are absolutely disgusting. I also camped in the "quiet" section as told by staff. As for the security staff , if there supposedly looking for people that are drunk driving they are only inside the concert. Not the rest of the campground.

I have stayed at the buffalo chip twice. The entertainment is why we always stay at buffalo chip. Yes it crowded and it will cost you a pretty penny to stay there but I feel it s the true Sturgis experience. It s the best vacation I have ever had. Plan on going again in 2020.

not easily accessible for anybody with disabilities, hard to navigate if u dont own something on 2 wheels, but extremely cost affective, tons of entertainment, big show names, comfortable camping areas, I would love to go again,with better preparation for getting around the place on my own.

Great concerts good people. Get the meal pass and get the pay shower clean and hot water i have a blast therr.

First time in Sturgis and the weather is unpredictable. Despite that, had a good time with friends enjoying the food, music & fun.

Great concerts and super convenient to stumble to the tent afterwards. Another great rally!!!

NOT a bike rally!!!!

....they claim to be but let everything and anything drive in leaving the bikers to try to find a spot among everything else. Tons of wasted land filled with cargo trailers, flatdecks, empty cars, motorhomes and running gen-sets leaving little room left for guys with bikes and tents that rode in from all over the country.

Best camping and people for a great rally experience.

Be prepared for heavy traffic both coming in and going out...bikes were running out of gas waiting in line. Over-priced IMHO.

70 mph winds , thunder and lighting BUT. We made it thriugh in a tent !!

There are thieves. I hate thieves. They stole our chairs sitting next to our tent. That's not the only reason I WON'T BE BACK. I will write more later when I get home. Right now it's Sat. Afternoon and my husband and I are sitting on the damn ground. I won't be attending tonight's concert because WE don't have anything to sit on but I will write more later

An iconic fixture during Bike Week...I lost many brain cells there.

Premier sturgis rally campground. Expensive entry for bands.

We just got back to Texas after spending 6 days at Buffalo Chip and it was an awesome experience! Despite all the rain and having to spend days in a tent with 2 other people, this campsite made it easy to enjoy many different events while not having to leave the campsite. The bands that played were amazing! It is very close to downtown Sturgis and it is easy to get in and out. The only thing I would have them improve are the showers. The showers were extremely cold, the pressure was weak, and the shower curtains are linked together so some of the showers do not allow much privacy. I did get one hot shower around 6:45am. So the early bird gets the worm! Other than that, it was the best camping experience as of yet. We plan to go to Sturgis again soon!

Best place to stay during the rally. Will be coming back until they put me six feet under.

I am a first time attendee and needed to ask many questions regarding the particulars of the event. The people at Buffalo chip were very friendly and courteous. They helped me with the location of my toy hauler site and answered many questions regarding the event and my expectations. I visited many online sites but found the buffalo chip organization a great starting point to accomplish my bucket list event.

1st time to Sturgis and Buffalo chip best time I have had in a long time

I have worked many shows in the past, Some of the best, I'm gonna recommend that the producers of this event look into having "THE KENTUCKY HEADHUNTERS" come up for a show.
You will find that for the $$$ these guys will rock your crowd beyond compare...
Country, Blues. Rock, they got that!

Actually is the best party anywhere. Great people, food, and entertainment.

Great venue to see a concert, awesome food. The price for the concerts could be lower for $72, and would prefer more general places to sit. But all in all a great place to be at for the rally. Will be back again.

Campground was great, and easy to get around. Bathrooms and showers available, along with general store. Plenty of food choices, always a bar nearby. A bit dusty as surrounding roads and most interior roads are gravel. Overall would stay here again. A pool would make this a 5 star review

This is the spot to be for the Sturgis Rally. Great bands, good selection of vendors to choose from for food and merchandise. Awesome events as well.

What a fun time! Lots of open space and fun events.

One of the largest campouts of all time. Lots of music and activities. Over all excellently organized. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the toilet and shower situation. There is one small area of flushable toilets, lots of well maintained port-a-potties and several very smelly older sets of outhouses that need help. Regarding the showers, there isn't any place to place your belongings while showering, very few showers, most don't offer temp control just a pull rope, and not enough privacy. The door to the showers has a window. Update - the smelly outhouses have been cleaned and now they don't smell.

Amenities: golf carts for rent and personal port-a-potties at your camp site. Because of these additional amenities, I'm raising the rating from the original 4 stars to 5.
