The waiting time is killing. When you come to a emergency room you expect for a fast help , but not at this place.

Sturdy Memorial Hospital provides excellent care, both inpatient and outpatient. Nurses all are required to be vaccinated and follow strict safety protocols. In addition they are friendly and take care of all your needs. While everyone hears of people who might have had negative experiences, Sturdy's care overall is excellent and we are fortunate to have such a high quality hospital in our community.

A wonderful experience there, grateful to them all. Very professional and caring. Above and beyond in so many ways.

Awful place; wife is in ER and I went to get coffee at cafeteria- got thrown out as it s only open to employees due to Covid. I guess no one told them the state of emergency has been lifted.

Last year in May I spent 18 hours on a gurney in the corridor - after three minute meeting ( not with MD) I was subjected to treatment I objected to.

Shame on Sturdy!

In 2019 I was physically assaulted and beaten into submission here by staff. They stripped my gown off and left me topless in view of all in public. It's left severe lasting trauma and the most closure I can give myself is drop a 1 star review and urge people to go absolutely anywhere except here.

My mother has had many different hospital episodes over the last 10 years. Sturdy Memorial is without question the worst hospital I have encountered. No response when calling. No return call. No care plan information. They literally discharged my mother in the dead of night without informing any of the family and they never even provided a single update on her well being.

My mother admitted just a week after her sturdy visit and when the asked where she should be taken, I literally said "anywhere but sturdy memorial"

I have been to the ER here several times (for myself & my daughter). I also come for treatments and delivered my youngest child here. I have never gotten bad care here. Everyone has always treated me well. The nurses are awesome and everyone from the aids to the doctors have been great thus far.

I made the decision to get clean from oxycodone and have been on suboxone for 2 weeks. I also have a inguinal hernia. I was told that it shouldn't cause stomach, hip, or lower back pain by my doctor. Well im getting pain and very strange feelings in those areas so i went to sturdy. The doctor that was on proceeded to argue that it was in my head wothout taking any tests and all she could focus on was the fact that i was taking suboxone and was quite rude pretty much treating me like a junky in a situation where im trying to get on the right path. The worst part is this has to be in the 100s of times now that i have had a careless dr or care team at sturdy.

This hospital killed Carol Smith a 77 year old woman using deadly excessive force. It's been all over the news and a new story coming next week. The FBI needs to investigate this hospital and SHUT THEM DOWN. Nurse Comfort O'Dell was involved as well as charge nurse Kathy , Valerie Beale, Shaneka Miller Dr. Hee Kim used haldol to chemically restrain her which is strictly prohibited by federal law. They are lying and changing stories to cover up. God knows the truth!

In 2017, my friend died eight months after seeking help for her extreme abdominal pain at Sturdy Memorial Hospital's emergency room. Some physician assistant who worked there told her that her digestive system is as healthy as a 20 year-old's. I guess the PA had no clue how to read an x-ray and was not interested in actually help patients in need. Six months later she went to a hospital in Munich, Germany for a second opinion. However, by the time she got there, it was too late for her. Never trust Sturdy's ER and the careless attitude of its personnel.
