S&B truly was the best decision we made in the wedding planning process. Their services alleviated so much stress and allowed me to feel like a bride instead of a party-planner. In this day and age, weddings are much more complicated than punch and mints in the church parish hall. The planning process can be confusing, stressful, and overwhelming. For such an important, once-in-a-lifetime {and expensive} day, it is WORTH the price to have the expertise and advice of this team. They work hard to ensure your day is perfect and alleviate so much wasted time, money, and worry while they re at it. Could not recommend them enough. My wedding was PERFECT and SO MUCH FUN because of their ability to execute our plans, allowing me to focus on what mattered on such an important day. So so thankful for Nichole, Sara, and the entire S&B team.

Sara and her team are pros. Very organized, highly detailed and they even take care of the little things you don't expect. Stunning and Brilliant Events defiantly we're the final piece to the wedding puzzle! Sara was so involved up until the weekend of the wedding, with calling all vendors, making sure we had everything done, and keeping my mom and I organized! It was such a stress relief! We used Sara and Stunning and Brilliant Events last October. My daughter had the wedding of her dreams. Sara and her staff were exceptional!! We spent 9 months working with Sara. She is the epitome of professionalism, good listening skills, and simply fun to be around. Sara will get the job done. All weddings have something go awry; she handles the drama/situation/catastrophe without bothering the wedding party. Sara made the process fun and oh so beautiful! Would use S & B again, in a minute!

Had the pleasure of working as chauffeur for wedding last weekend along with nichole she was amazing in her dedication and organization skills kept everything running like a well oiled machine while remaining cool and calm under the circumstance of the couples special day. No detail seemed to large or too small for her keen eye. Transportation to and from venue was flawless and extremely smooth. I don't think you could have had a better leader for this event.

Sara was a blast to work with! She was so extremely helpful when it came to something that I had planned had fell through. She scooped up the pieces and put it all back together without me having to lift a finger. Anything that needed to be done was done before I had to ask. My wedding day was amazing and stress-free and that wouldn't have been possible without Sara's help.

Hiring Sara and her staff was the best decision we made in planning our daughter's wedding. Since we are local to Myrtle Beach, we already had picked most of our vendors and knew we wanted the reception at our home. Even though Sara was dealing with an outside reception at a private home, using a caterer and florist with whom she had no experience, everything went off without a hitch. Sara did a site visit and immediately took our ideas and not only made them reality, but also used her own vision that complemented ours perfectly. These ladies are totally organized and unflappable, right down to dispatching two baby snakes who crawled out of the ivy and under a table about two hours before the guests arrived! The evening of the event went off without a hitch, entirely due to Sara's calm attitude and quiet competence.

Where do I begin? Sara and Kristen (and Kelly) are the best in the business!! They went above and beyond what I would have expected from any wedding planner to make sure that everything was perfect. They were in constant contact with me prior to the wedding which put me at ease and assured me that I could relax because things were getting done. On the day of the wedding, everything ran like clockwork. I honestly cannot say enough great things about these ladies and this business. They were phenomenol and I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. You need these ladies, they were worth every single cent and more!!

I found Sara through a random Google search, I don't believe she was even on the top of the Google search engine (which she should be), but thankfully the first 2 phone numbers I dialed did not answer, because she did, and that was the start of my absolutely amazing seamless experience.

I needed assistance with a proposal while out of state. My girlfriend and I had a road trip planned in which I wanted to pop the question. Considering I wasn't presently available Sara was in charge of every detail (sight unseen) which required a lot of trust on my part.

She literally went to a location in which she initially helped me select, she recorded the surrounding area and sent me a video for approval and so I can see exactly where everything was going to take place. She coordinated an excursion involving another company that was part of our grand idea. She provided the photographer, an individual for drone video footage, all the decorations with candles, rose petals, etc; she had me select favorite pictures in which she printed and framed, she asked that I create a list of favorite songs to be played in the background... I can go on and on describing details that she thought of that I didn't even think to think of! She is definitely a savant at what she does and she didn't miss a beat during the entire process!!

I will definitely use her when we are ready to tie the knot, and I would without hesitation recommend her to anyone I personaly know or anyone reading this rant of a review!!! Thanks again Sara!!! I can't imagine things going more perfectly than they did:)

I used Sara and Stunning and Brilliant for my day of planning for my wedding on August 24th, 2013 at Brookgreen Gardens in Pawleys Island, SC. Sara went above and beyond what I anticipated! We met at least twice before my wedding and were in constant contact from the day we signed on with her until after my wedding! She was amazing and made my day and the weeks leading up to the wedding stress and worry free! Her team was fabulous on the day of and made sure every little detail was taken care of so that me and my mom had nothing to worry about. Sara and her team are fantastic and made for a seamless rehearsal dinner and wedding. There were a couple of obstacles along the way that Sara solved in an efficient and professional manner. We knew that she knew her stuff from the early communications but when you see her in action the weekend of the wedding it is really something to behold. Thanks for everything Sara!

Sara McCall and her team are absolutely incredible. My now husband and I planned our wedding from the Midwest, and we certainly could not have pulled off our wedding day without Stunning & Brilliant Events. I knew we would hire Sara from the first moment I spoke with her on the phone. Sara is a great communicator and promptly returned all of my calls and emails. 5 +++ stars! I was so happy to have hired Sara and the S&B events team for my wedding day. As with a lot of couples during this pandemic, my husband and I had postponed our wedding 3 times and due to personal reasons we couldn't push it out again to next year. We completely changed the date and location and were states away so I knew we needed someone local to help us plan and create our event. Sara planned a beautiful design, she was on top of everything with vendors and even took care of getting everything together for our marriage license. We just had to pick it up when we arrived. She did this all in JUST 3 WEEKS! Our day turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined. After all the disappointment and frustration we had prior to this final date/location change, it was an amazing and perfect day. Thank you so much Sara!

If you are looking to genuinely enjoy the wedding planning process and not be stressed out on your wedding day you need not look any further. My mother and I attempted to plan our wedding on our own and about 2 months in we decided we were in over our heads. We reached out to our vendors and our florist gave us Sara's name with Stunning and Brilliant Events. From the first conversation with Sara I knew she was going to be a rock star. She is extremely organized, prompt, creative and overall just someone who is fun to be around. We had a lot of the bigger decisions made with our wedding but it's the little decisions that are the hardest and Sara navigated our ideas and desires with ease. We also had a few kinks in the process (nothing to do with Sara) and instead of having me call to fix them Sara took the bull by the horns and demanded things be fixed or found me another vendor who was just as good if not better than the first. I felt like the whole process was truly FUN and I had time to enjoy my engagement and not be constantly worried about the wedding. Sara also has the ability to build great relationships with the vendors - lucky for me she already had great relationships with all of mine prior to my wedding, but there were a few that she didn't know and am confident they would strongly recommend her in the future based off of my wedding. The day of my wedding went off without a hitch - she had it planned to the minute and I felt like I got to squeeze every minute and moment out of my special day because we had Sara and her amazing assistant Kristen. Sara pays so much attention to detail the she and Kristen actually purchased an outfit in my wedding colors to wear to my wedding - how cute is that? I absolutely adore Sara but from a business standpoint she is OUTSTANDING - she exceeded all my expectations and to reiterate made my special day one that I enjoyed and will never forget!

Sara and Hannah did such an amazing job! They were professional from the start and were always one step ahead of me. With their help, I knew I could relax and be stress free on my wedding day because they would take care of everything. Highly recommend!!!

We have used Sara and her team for two weddings. They are well worth the cost , especially in the last couple of weeks as they take the worry out of all of the last minute details. Our most recent wedding was in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic and they made the whole experience much less stressful. If we had a third daughter we would not hesitate to use them again!

We hired Sara with Stunning and Brilliant for our older daughter's wedding in December of 2017. So, when our second daughter got engaged in April of 2018, the first thing I did was to call Sara! So, with Sara's patience, organization, and vision, we planned a second wedding at DeBordieu for March of 2019. My biggest concern was that the wedding not be a carbon copy of our first wedding there, but that it would be just as beautiful and well organized as the first. And, not surprisingly, Sara (and the rest of the team at Stunning and Brilliant) pulled it off - again! We had the ceremony and reception at a completely different venue within DeBordieu and it was absolutely stunning! Sara worked with me, listened to me, and went to bat for me with all our vendors to make sure the day was flawless. As a mother of the bride (for the second time around), I had definite ideas of things I wanted and didn't want. Sara was able to make it all happen. I can't imagine planning a wedding without Sara and Stunning and Brilliant there to make it all happen. Sara is easy to work with, fun, talented, organized, and works extremely hard to make sure your vision for your wedding is realized. My advice - hire Sara and Stunning and Brilliant before you make any other decisions about your wedding!

Working with the Stunning and Brilliant Events ladies was a dream! We met with Sara and she helped us to book with vendors she knows and trusts. She was open and honest when we asked her questions about vendors about her experiences. Sara is SO fun, my mom and I had an absolute blast planning with her. S&B events were probably my saving grace for my wedding. I too was a little skeptical on hiring a planner, but after talking with Sara over the phone, I knew we would get along great. Sara and her team are absolutely amazing. I live in California and was planning on visiting Myrtle Beach with my girlfriend. I knew I wanted to propose to her when we were in Myrtle Beach but had no idea how I was going to do it. That is when Sara came along and saved the day. The restaurant that I was planning on proposing at got me in contact with Sara and she took it from there. Sara immediately reached out and had an idea for the setup up. Her idea was exactly what I was thinking and she took care of everything. She would continuously check in with me the month prior to the proposal to see if I needed anything and to keep me updated. She even went above and beyond by sending me a video of how to walk through the hotel lobby to get to the outside area where everything was set up. I would not have been able to find my way there without her video. I cannot thank Sara and her team enough for everything that they did. As soon as my girlfriend said yes, Sara and the photographer that she set up came out and started taking photos. Sara's design and setup was absolutely perfect and so beautiful. My girlfriend was so impressed with the setup and that was all thanks to Sara. If you want to have a hassle free, beautiful and perfect event call Sara and her team. Let me start off by saying that Sara and her team are amazing. The first thing you should do when you get engaged if you are around the Myrtle Beach area (or beyond) is call Stunning and Brilliant Events. At first, I was a skeptical about hiring a planner. I am a little OCD and wanted to control every detail. I thought I could do it on my own, especially since I was having my wedding at a resort with an event director. I was sadly mistaken. I had Sara's help a little later in the game, but I kick myself for not hiring her in the beginning. I know many of you may think it is a lot of money to hire a planner, but Sara and her team are well worth it. In fact, they save you money. Sara asked all the right questions and knew how to work around things to save the most money. I am telling you-having Sara as a full wedding planner will pay for itself. I was a little worried about just letting everything go, but my wedding turned out even more amazing than I could have ever dreamed of when I just gave full reign to Sara. Sara is extremely talented and will not disappoint. If you are in the area and looking to have a stunning an brilliant wedding or event, hire her. If you are not in the area, fly her to where you are!!!

Caitlin did a wonderful job with our wedding! She was on top of communication, and fine-tuned all of the planning I had already done to make it perfect. Having her there day-of was a huge relief- she took all of the stress off of my parents and I.

Throughout the entire planning process of our destination wedding in Pawley's Island, SC on 8/2/12, Sara and the team at Stunning & Brilliant were BEYOND helpful!
Planning a South Carolina wedding from Missouri was scary at first! But after hiring Stunning & Brilliant, the ideas and dreams I had in my mind started to become a reality. Sara has connections with wonderful vendors for every aspect of planning a wedding- from rentals, to caterers, to our wonderful harpist!
The timelines and information packets they provided helped keep us on track in the months leading up to the wedding, and on the rehearsal and wedding days... what a relief to send everyone with questions or issues to the professionals, instead of having to worry over small details.
Another huge advantage was having constant email communication. Anytime I had a question, I recieved an email back very promptly- usually same day.
Not only were Stunning & Brilliant Event's services professional and efficient, but it was a joy to work with such a kind, friendly, and energetic person as Sara.

Let me start off by saying I loved working with Sara and her team at S&B Events. I originally tried to plan my 9/14/13 Pawleys Island, SC wedding on my own from Boston, MA, which proved to be entirely overwhelming. I had no idea who to use for vendors, and I really didn't have anyone in the area to bounce wedding-related questions off of. I found Sara online and quickly set up a phone call to see if she would be a good fit. From that first phone call, I knew Sara would be the perfect wedding planner. I booked her for full planning services, and I do not regret one bit of it. She knows so many wedding contacts in the area and was able to set up meetings for my husband and me with several vendors so we could get a comparison of services provided. Sara was always quick to respond to emails and phone calls and was more than willing to meet in person each time I traveled to SC to do wedding planning things. She was able to take my very high level vision of what I wanted our wedding to look like and executed it beyond my expectations. In the days leading up to our wedding date, I was way more relaxed than I probably would have been if I had not had Sara's help. I highly recommend Sara and her team to anyone looking for wedding planning services in the Carolina area!

We got married in August of 2015 in Charleston, SC and we used Stunning and Brilliant for our day of wedding planner. Sara was SOOOO amazing to work with! She is so detail oriented and organized that it made our day PERFECT. Even though she was day of, she was always so easy to get ahold of and able to answer the craziest of wedding questions! Not only did she travel to Charleston before the wedding once, or twice, but THREE times!! She is hands down the BEST. Sara far exceeded my expectations. A perfect example of her doing that is when her and her team actually spent the night before my wedding spray painting 20+ pineapples because I didn't have time to do it!! She completely surprised me - I didn't even ask, she took it upon herself and made my envision come to life! I could not be more grateful.

Sara and her services as a wedding planner are just as her company is titled: STUNNING and BRILLIANT! We had an early summer outdoor wedding at Brookgreen Gardens, with an outdoor reception. There was a lot to plan and arrange, and since my husband and I live in Virginia, we had no idea how to handle booking all of these vendors from out of state. From our first conversation over the phone with Sara, she was organized, positive, kind, and asked all of the questions surrounding our big day that we hadn't thought to ask. She listened carefully to our likes and dislikes, and handled every aspect of planning our wedding with grace and poise. Best of all, she was EXCELLENT about communication! The second I got engaged, I knew that I would be contacting Sara to help plan my wedding. I'm in law school and live out of town, so I knew that I did not have a significant amount of time to dedicate to planning. Sara and Natalie had everything under control from day one, and I never questioned that the wedding would be perfect. People asked me over and over in the months leading up to the wedding whether I was stressed out -- and honestly, I was never stressed, even for a second (well, other than agonizing over the weather since everything was outside, but Sara and Natalie made me feel comfortable about that too). I had Sara and natalie to help for my wedding day and for the months leading up to my wedding. Since I was an out of town bride it was very stressful at times to try and get things situated but with all of their help, i got it done! Any time that I needed to get a hold of them, I could! I loved having them around because I seriously didnt have any stress of wondering if things were going to fall into place very nicely. Everything was set up beautifully and if anything went wrong, I wasn't made aware of it! It was very fun and exciting and the night of the wedding things went perfect. if anything went wrong, I had no idea because natalie and my other helper/planner from the hotel did it all and made sure i didnt know of it. Stunning & Brillant Events handled day-of coordination for my wedding last month and were hands down the best money we spent on the wedding. Sarah and her team are THE BEST. It's as simple as that. She truly saved us more money than we spent on her services. I have never used an event planner and now I'm not sure why I would ever NOT use one. The usual stress, especially with last minute errands and preparations was nonexistent. Hannah was with us on site the entirety of our event and of course before and she was the best. She made every detail perfect and even helped us load our car at the end. Our guest list started at over 600 (!!!) and Sara never batted an eye. We eventually got it down to a more "reasonable" 420, and she and her team carried off the most perfect wedding I've ever seen (I'm only a little biased ;) ). Before our big day, Sara was in constant contact with me and I never had the need to worry or panic about all of the details coming together because I knew she had it handled. My fiance and I live 3 hours away from the venue (Debordieu Club), and it made me nervous to not be close by, but Sara handled everything perfectly and just as me and my type A personality would have if I had been there myself ;). I honestly could go on and on, but I'll leave it at this: even my father, who paid for everything, still talks about how great Sara and her team are nearly 3 months after our wedding! He's used the phrase "worth their weight in gold" more than once. I wouldn't dream of throwing an event in the Carolinas (or anywhere else, for that matter) without hiring Stunning and Brilliant Events!

Sara Barnhill is not only beautiful on the outside, she is lovely on the inside as well and made my entire family and wedding party feel welcome, up to speed on all weekend activities, and made sure everyone knew where they were supposed to be.

Aside from the wedding being asthetically beautiful, from what we know, vendors were on time and did exactly what was asked of them, rentals arrived in one piece and to the specs we discussed, and everything went off without a hitch (except for Krystal closing two days before our wedding, so our late night food became Bojangles :)

I'm sure Sara is great and well suited for small scale events that are simple like birthday parties and simpler weddings. But a larger production of a wedding? She was in way over her head. And she even admitted it as she quit via email halfway through and left me hung out to dry and with nothing but a new Pinterest board and a looming wedding in 5 months while I'm living 3000 miles away. So that was fun to navigate.

My husband and I planned our Myrtle Beach wedding from Boston and we were a little nervous about how everything would come together. Once we decided to work with S & B Events, those worries were gone. From the moment we met Sara in her office, she was excited to be a part of our special day and enthusiastic about our ideas. We went with the "Stunning Day" package and felt that Sara went above and beyond just the day of. She emailed us often to check in on the planning process; she was always fast to respond to any of our questions or concerns. Sara also put together a weekend agenda for vendors and the wedding party, communicated with the vendors during the month leading up to the wedding, and organized the rehearsal. On the morning of the wedding, we had a laundry list of things that needed to be set up (center pieces, chair ties, favors, ceremony decorations, etc).
