Saw Broadway show here. Medium size theater, clean but dated bathrooms. Seating in mezzanine is TINY. If you're taller than petite you will sit with your knees in your throat.

What used to be the legendary and glitzy nightclub is now home to a spacious theater the only one on Broadway with cabaret-style seating.
Pretty good place , the drinks were good at the bartender and then bottle service is a must . The bottle service gets you your own little section which is good because it gets really packed . There's no dress code at all . Some people wearing casual attire and others all dressed up for the club . Only 4 stars because the parking is kinda lame and the security guards do more partying then there actual job .
great old school spot with lots of history. Everytime you come there is something new. We really enjoyed our time
Simple theatre set up... Definitely loved seeing John Leguizamo here.
Stage can be seen from any seat but seats are all cramped up. Tall people don't fit. My knees were killing me. Because the seating was so uncomfortable I wasn't able to enjoy the show.
This is a beautiful theater, my only qualms with are the seating, the view is totally obstructed depending where you sit and the dangerous steps into some of the aisles, an elderly lady fell on one of them while I was as there.
Show was the best I've seen. Seats were tight, but go see Kiss Me Kate. You will NOT be disappointed!
So I saw Kiss Me Kate here and it was one of the best sounding performances I have been to yet. I won't tell you about the show in particular as you can find tons of info about it with a simple online search. The show was a great experience and I would recommend it for locals or tourists looking for a bit of that Broadway magic that they can reminisce over forever. The vocal performances will simply amaze you. I am pretty sure 2 of the numbers should definitely give this show a couple of Tony nominations. I am not sure how much of this show is a part of the original production but the Direction, Choreography, Music, Set, Lighting, Wardrobe and Cast are simply amazing with a special Shout out to all those support positions as no show can be this good without amazing crew. There was was only one noticeable missed line that was recovered by the performer. The theater Studio 54 was true to its hype. Temperature was comfortable. Ushers were pleasant and helpful as well as clear with any instructions on intermission time and directions for restrooms, and seating. Concessions were about the same as other Broadway theaters 2 bottles of Fiji water and 1 pack of peanuts m&m's were $15.25. The seats while nice and padded had a sinking feeling that those who are vertically challenged may have some issue with the further back you sit on the Orchestra level. Pro tip: if you consider yourself a short person ask for a seat cushion to help elevate yourself, but ask early before the house runs out. Most importantly, have fun!
Fantastic theater! Just went to see Cabaret today and was amazed by the decor, architecture and the way its been preserved after all these years. I couldn't help to imagine the good days of Studio 54! Would go back there anytime for a play, party or anything. Maybe they want to improve the restrooms situation, that's the only thing I didn't like as I had to wait in line for a long time.
Studio 54 = Now this name numerically adds to the number of Neptune . For more good number that matches your birthdate, by changing the spelling of the company. For more info us
Saw Children of a Lesser God. Zero leg room in balconies. Looked like not much in orchestra either. Great production and cast. Entire cast came out and gave signatures and took pictures with attendees.
Organized and efficient. Seats and out. Better that than mayhem.
Not a huge theater but feels spacious enough, ushers make it easy to find seats felt like a smooth process. I disliked that there weren't restrooms on the first floor so orchestra guests are obligated to go upstairs is they need facilities. Overall not a bad experience. I came for Latin History for Morons. John Leguizamo did great with this one!
Amazing venue, iconic, and the perfect place to see Children of a Lesser God
For the Lifespan Show (excellent)... The balcony seating has NO legroom.
The Latino History for Morons was in formative and funny! A true eye opener for those of us who don't know about the depth of Latino's contribution to America throughout its existence. Thank you John Leguizamo!
Saw Daniel Radcliffe in a Lifespan of a Fact. Had a great time. We sat in the balcony in the first row on the far left side. Had a good view. The middle balcony area has limited views due to the sound bar and lighting control located there just FYI when picking seats.
Restrooms had a ridiculously long line and tickets are expensive, but Alan Cummings is incredible in the 2014 Cabaret revival.
Glad to see the original deco architect & disco ball! Theater seats are tight, but good view of the stage. Drinks at the bar are heavily priced, but there are plenty of great bars/lounges surrounding Studio 54.
Intimate theater. Good acoustics. Seats are reasonably sized. Easy to get to.
Great intimate theater to see a show. Mezz and orchestra before the mezz overhang well worth the cost.
Saw The Lifespan of a Fact. Great cast and play. Studio 54 is still beautiful and has great memories.
Great place to sit and listen to John Leguizamo's Latin History For Morons!
The theater wasn't entirely what I thought it was going to look like but the play I saw (The Lifespan of a Fact) was amazing. Bonus points for the leopard print carpet!
Saw Latin History for Morons. Totally fabulous and funny.
Visited this venue to see John Leguizamo in "Latin History for Moron's" . Fantastic show, cozy seating arrangement but there wasn't a bad seat in the place. Love the lesson and the staff were professional and helpful.
A classic and a tradition. Being a non profit, ticket prices are more affordable and from the mezzanine you still get a good view.for the not-so-wealthy.
Went to see lifespan of a fact and the theatre was great!
This is a lovely older theater with seats that are more spacious than most theaters in the district. I highly recommend visiting to see a show.
Tha Theresa Raquin was th Best Scenic Design Of A Play i've ever seen before, i was pregnant and little bit it was hard for me but Keira Knightley was wonderful, i will never forget the emotions he acted in reality <3 i wa honored to saw that theater and thank again Broadway!
A beautiful theater with charm, you have to experience it!
Came here to see Children of a Lesser God play with Joshua Jackson and Lauren Ridloff. Historic theater and bang in middle of Midtown West. Seats were very comfortable and plenty of legroom in Orchestra seats. We were in row K. Bar looked cool too even though we didn't get any drinks. Also saw lifespan of a fact with Daniel Radcliffe in it. Excellent play. Theater is a bit dated if anyone is looking for a more updated feel.
A great intimate venue to watch a play. I watched the revival of Kiss Me Kate there a few weeks ago and had a great time.
Could use some restoration love....but the staff are great! They greet and seat very quickly and efficiently!
The show was well executed and the staff courteous, but the seats are just about the most uncomfortable ones I've sat in at a New York show. I could see just fine from my spot in the mezzanine, but I'm only 5'7" and my knees were touching the seat in front of me. I am not a big person, but I barely had room to move and couldn't get comfortable. I'd probably try to avoid this theater next time around unless it had an absolute must-see show in it.
Great experience watching Children of a Lesser God. See it!
Mythical room for the movie and for what it represents in Ny if you pass nearby (for sure) you have to go
I am not old enough to remember this place from its earliest incarnation as a TV studio, but I am old enough to remember it from its days as a disco. Nowadays, it's interesting to see it as one of Roundabout's main theaters, beginning with its role as part of the backdrop for their reversal of "Cabaret." It's a decent, if somewhat awkwardly designed, place to see a show, and I suppose it is as convenient or inconvenient as any other Broadway theater.
Clean, good views from all seats. Great acting, nice show.
Nice place but don't expect much leg room. I went to see Latin History for Morons. I enjoyed the show but I could NOT wait to get out of my seat. I am 5' 7 and my knees were touching the back of the seat from the row in front of me. As I laughed my shoulders rubbed up against the stranger next to me. The most uncomfortable experience ever. I had no circulation in my legs for almost 2 hrs.
Seats, sound and look of the theater was outstanding .
Wonderful theatre. So many awesome things happen in this space!
I love the show I went to see: Children of a Lesser God. Good place, good people working there.
Show was good. Seating not made for taller people. I think I chewed on my knees the entire show.
What a beautiful theater. A very intimate place to watch a play.
Saw John Leguizamo's show "Latin History for Morons", great place to watch off Broadway shows
Kiss me Kate was amazing ..ingenious staging the cast and orchestra outstanding
I would love to come inside 1 last time just to take a tour and be told where everything was including the V.I.P area.
Amazing performance of The Sound Within. Loved the thought provoking play.
Beautiful theatre, great sound, and performance! Kiss Me Kate was PHENOMENAL. I only put four stars because seats in the Mezzanine were terribly uncomfortable and not suitable for tall people, I recognize that I have long legs, but I couldn't even sit forward in my seat because my knees hit right where the other seats in front of me began. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, aside from having to sit sideways in my seat!
Beautiful classic theatre on Broadway. Friendly and helpful staff.
Very upset customer! I pulled in to your lot located steps away from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and was told $35 for my SUV. My sister than pulled in behind me in her SUV and I said she was with me. The guy clearly said $35 for me and $15 for her total $50. I asked more than once to clarify since it seemed to good even asking so $25 per car and he said yes so we agreed to park and forgo our $34.95 coupon for the IKON lot located just down the street. When we picked up our cars he changed it to $35 for my car and $50 for my sister. After an altercation he proceeded to tell me I would have to now wait for my car. I had with me a 6 and 4 year old and it was 15 degrees outside. When he did finally bring a car it was not mine because he wrote down a brown Chevy Sudan and I have an orange 2018 equinox. He again proceeded to make me wait in the cold as he brought out other cars and was just yelling out types of cars. At one point he actually said who has the white lexis maybe I should have said me a jumped in and took off since he had no idea who s car was whos. No one should ever park here and I will be writing this story on any review site I can unless we are reimbursed. It was a trouble operation.
Creative, spacious converted Broadway house.
The seats are set back from the stage, so get the closest seats you can.
This theatre has a beautiful interior. The staff is friendly and they manage the influx of people super well! However, it was a bit chilly during the performance.
The best discottet of the time and the best music that was heard. Music Disco The maximum
Ideal size for the a Latin History for Morons show.
The seats are small and your knees are guaranteed to be in the person's back in front of you. The bathrooms are upstairs (I believe there was an accessible one on the main level). The ambiance was nice. Drinks were outrageously expensive. We saw Lifespan of A Fact. It was hilarious!
Beautiful place. My seat in row GG was so close to FF that once I had people on both sides of me mylegs wouldn't fit. A polite and wonderful usher helped me and found a seat. Row BB was much better.
