I have attended in the past and learned quickly that it was pretty much the same thing every year. I am not an aviation buff. I am a US Navy Veteran.
I understand that a lot of people enjoy this type of thing and it is always the first weekend in November so the weather is usually gorgeous. I see a lot of people with young kids and they seem to love it. I'm sure doing something like this with your kids is a great way to get them outdoors and away from the screens of their electronics. I don't like being a downer but I have to admit that my level of dread for this event has been increasing. This event has been held for A LOT of years. I agree with the person who suggested it is time to move on. I live close to Witham Field.
The disruption from the noise has become extremely intrusive to me.
Maybe the VNA could start a Health Fair as a fund raiser. My blood pressure needs to be checked.
I'm a retired Airline Pilot and I look forward to the Stuart Airshow every year.
The air show is great. By all means, avoid the food vendor who sells the gyro and chicken on a stick - super nasty and super expensive. The gyro was totally inedible. And I paid $10.00 for it. The chicken on a stick was really hard and stringy, also $10.00. and inedible. They should never allow that vendor back. At those prices, they made a killing.
If you believe in flight just set back and take a look or participate in this airshow! You will will be involved and setting in a cockpit in a flash !
AIRBORNE, ALL THE WAY !!!
The show is terrific. I have been going for years and enjoyed it as much every year.
Careful about ticket purchases ... Dunkin Donut sells only the entrance tickets, cash purchase only. Also, they do not sell any of the other optional items. i.e. spectator seating. Online purchase has everything but charges a $6.76 processing fee.
Plenty of parking and shuttles. Go early. Weekend event with fireworks on Friday night start to weekend show. A great show for all ages.
Awesome staff and great job on the spot on the show
I have been coming to the airshow for years and it used to be one of my favorite events of the year; however, this year (2015) is the last year for me. The show organizers ruinned it by not letting anyone bring their own food and water. I dont have any kids, but cant imaging what its like for families with kids, who need water and food. After all, its a family event. Shame.
A complete waste of money. Park along the street and save $25.00 PP
Wait for the Vero Beach show with the Blue Angels skip the SAS
This year's show was good. They had tons of kids attractions.
