Awesome food accompanied by awesome service levels. Stretta is definately one of my most favourite restaurants.

Hands down one of the best restaurants around Hillcrest ! Their coffee and food is pretty good as well! Be sure to try out the Brie pizza and make it a large ;)

A good atmosphere with good food. Used to visit regularly but now that i live outside of KZN, I only get to visit once or twice a year. However, according to a recent visit it appears that their standard has not dropped. The service is apparently a gamble and can sometimes be rather poor or amazing (there is no middle) but their food is always good. I have to admit its not the best place for breakfast, but lunch or dinner at Stretta Cafe is never a bad idea.

Pizzas were super and service was quick and efficient. The ambience is great too.

Was very disappointed with the service. Waited 35 mins for menus. Waiter seemed like serving us was the last thing he wanted to do. Good menu however due to lack of service, just left ...

I absolutely loved the steak. The best I've ever had!!

Stretta Cafe is simply an amazing restaurant for a family to enjoy dinner, a couple on a date night or a freelance worker who needs great coffee and reliable wifi. The managers are energetic and aIways keep a diligent eye out. I definitely reccomend Stretta to anyone looking for a great night out! 10/10

Cozy place to have pizza and wine. You can't go wrong with a Stretta breakfast either.

Me and my wife had a romantic dinner at Stretta last night and what an amazing experience, from management to the waiter, superb food good music and atmosphere.
I will recommend Stretta to anybody they have a wide variety of food, coffee, wine and the list goes on WELL DONE!!!!

Food was excellent, service was good. Irrelevant to us but noteworthy : no liquor licence, but there's a bottle store a couple of shops away if you're early enough

Nestled in The Colony in Hillcrest is this rather cosy interpretation of an Italian Ristorante. Staff were efficient. Food was average, really wouldn't complain nor sing home about it. The pork neck - average, chicken marsala - average, pizza was good. Wierdly, the hot drinks were quite disappointing. So, average coffee, but the chai and white hot chocolate were actually inconsumable - masses of undissolved solute and already way too sweet. Stick to beer instead, just dont expect any Italian ones. As a comparison, Lupa just pips Stetta

Lovely setting. Meal great. Service... well service seems to be lacking any where you go these days. Sadly. A tip is just given because it's their job. But my cream for my coffee was sour. Sent it back. Got a fresh one when my coffee was cold. Over all good meal.

While you enjoy your good food, paired with a wine from their excellent and well-priced selection, your waiter might break into song in deep, operatic Italian.

Popped in yesterday for lunch with a friend, we both normally enjoy this restaurant. New waiters, the service left a lot to be desired, had to ask another waiter to take our order as we waited so long.

We have always enjoyed our meals at Stretta Cafe but the recent increase of the corkage fee from R30 to R50 is very disappointing, especially in light of current pressures on consumer's eating out budgets. A reasonable corkage fee along with friendly service will almost certainly encourage repeat business and leave a good taste in patron's mouths.

The staff is very accommodative and they help you pick from the menu. The pizza are delicious but have a very thin base so consider that when picking a size.

One of the best places we have been. Food is always incredible. Pastas and pizzas are really delicious. Steaks are absolutely delicious. Massive fan of this restuarant!

Nice ambience, food was good, just no rosemary and chunks of garlic on focaccia, but returned it and got rosemary on a new one. Very friendly staff.

This is one of my absolute favourite restaurants in the area, everything they do is great. They make amazing pastas, pizzas and cheese boards. They also have craft beers and gin and tonic on tap.

Staff is so lovely the food was amazing I enjoyed it so much.
