Great place. Great vibe. Limited menu when load shedding hits. Nonetheless, friendly staff and delicious food.

Proberly the best Restauant we ate at in Hillcrest in the past few days.
Nice location, attentive staff, and the food is really very well prepared and tasty.
I will certainly support them when I am here.
My only suggestion is to train their baristas better.
The cappuccino and espresso are always inconsistant, and need improving, and they have no understanding on espresso correctly.
Otherwise, it is recommended and always a safe bet, and good value for money.
Well done!!

Just say no. Any franchise based pizza take away will end up being more satisfying.

Good variety of food, my steak was cooked to perfection. Staff are efficient and so friendly. Will definitely be going back...

Had Mother's day lunch there today with my husband, we can honestly say it was one of the worst meals we have had in any restaurant. Almost R400, absolute rip off. Complained to the gentleman there, he didn't seem too concerned. We will never go there again. I vote no stars. I was forced to vote one star.

This place pumps so reservations are recommended.
Lucky for us there was space outside & they supplied blankets to ward off the chill.
Prices are a little steep but well worth it. Great food.

Dinner for 7 for my birthday this last Saturday during load shedding. We had 7 outstanding meals with the lights down low. I loved the pink gin cocktails - delicious.

Very disappointed. Had to send back food, chef seemed to not be producing his best dishes this day. We have had excellent meals there before. Manager was very apologetic and dealt with situation well.

Nice but food not as good as it used to be. Cheesecake and coffee was nice but main course was a bit oily and lacked flavour. Service was decent and quick, only the food was disappointing.

Very good food was delicious and service was good. 4 stars.

Interesting experience. Ordered toasted cheese and tomato and a rosemary, salt and garlic forcaccia. The forcaccia came with only garlic. When I say you would need to restock on garlic after one focaccia it's not a joke.

I had breakfast and supper there. They have a fair menu with some nice unique items. The breakfast service was good but unfortunately not so the evening. Their wine list is excellent and the prices reasonable. They have a difficult balance between a cafe by day and a restaurant by night and should maybe decide on which to specialise. Overall not bad but not inspiring.

Good value for money. Excellent sunrise breakfast as well as the rosti breakfast. Reasonable portions. Good cappuccino, almond milk option available. The specials are always tasty, well presented and with a very good price. I highly recommend the butternut soup special. The places tents to get a bit busy and maybe noisy late in the morning. Nice outside sections. Staff competent, friendly and polite.

Enjoyed eating at Stretta, they are slightly pricey on some of there menu items but do have a few good deals including breakfast. The waiters seem well trained and friendly. Definitely worth adding to your options in the area.

Their coffee is good, really good. And the service is fast too. A nice atmosphere and good for a one on one chat or even a group. It isn't too loud and intrusive, cool for working on your laptop responding to emails and maybe even the odd fail video on YouTube. I haven't tried the food yet.

Stretta is such a lovely chilled spot to have any meal of the day, always great service and good food!

Every time i visit Durban i go to Stretta, good eats, good service, good time :-)

An unexpected stop on our visit to Hillcrest. Their pastas and pizzas were amazing. Service was warm and friendly. Can highly recommend.

Casual vibe, good quality food, breakfast was good. Staff were very accommodating of our vegan guest.

First time there for my birthday dinner 2 Saturdays ago and my son & I thoroughly enjoyed our pasta meals. Enough for a lunch on the Monday too

Friendly and helpful waiters. Pleasant ambiance. Great food and superb milkshakes. A little pricy but not too expensive - roughly R115 for a large meal. Overall: I would definitely recommend
