If you want to pay top dollar for appraisals performed by the weakest appraisers in the business, these guys are your man.
After charging my credit card for an appraisal it took 7 days to get an appraiser to actually contact me, after making repeated phone calls. The appraiser they hired was bottom of the barrel, RTS appraisals, who did an appraisal using comps outside of my area and school district. The appraisal came in so low it ruined my refinance. It was $30,000 less than my appraisal 2 years before in a appreciating market. Streetlinks was no help and the appraiser wouldn't even respond to my rebuttal. If I refinance again I will ask if streetlinks is used and not refinance if so.
As an appraiser....STAY far away from this company. They hire the CHEAPEST appraisers that 99% of the time have the LEAST qualifications. They are like a "puppy mill". I have MANY appraiser friends that receive orders from them offering 10 cents on the dollar. Would you trust your life to an unqualified $10/hour doctor? Or hire a $5/hour attorney to defend you in a serious legal case? No. Because you're smarter than that. Stay away from this company.
