Good location and food...water was little behind the room...though we did not play much in water because of cold but it was nice..fire camp was for each group...it was superb

We were a group of 11 people, just wanted to be away from work and relax on a weekend.. the place we found was Streamedge... The best part of this place is the food, it was yummy and the best we could get also, good hospitality... I would recommend one to visit this place and have a good time...In and around good sceneries too.

Our stay Streamedge was really awesome, we were a group of 18, it was like home away from home , so beautiful with greenery all around, homely food very delicious , fun filled activities, great hospitality by the staff. Kudos to the team for their great service, will surely recommend others to experience the stay here.

Staff: Very polite and available whenever required.

Food: Veg, Non Veg both available. Food quality was very good and hygiene was maintained. They provide 3 times food (Lunch,Snack,Dinner next day morning breakfast)

Room: Room is neat & clean with dressing table, small Almirah with locker.
Activity: Indoor game, Mud volleyball, Zip line, rope climbing, Bone fire

Special thing to try which I liked most is the Karaoke night. I enjoyed singing with karaoke.

Note: Either you go with friend or family, great place to stay with affordable price. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful place to spend your weekend at! The resort is so huge as compared to the occupancy. Really loved the ambience. And the amount of activities you get to enjoy for what you pay is just on point.

Great place for nature lovers and moderate adventurists. Resort have all facilities and Food is yummy and what a taste! Awesome.
Management staff are very helpful and you feel like home.

I strongly recommend this place whether it s for team outing or for families. Extremely beautiful location, really well maintained property, very friendly staffs , good food and indoor and outdoor activities. You must try the rain dance after mud volleyball it s crazy.

It was a pleasant surprise for our family, while we expected a normal homestay, What we got in bargain was amazing. Its a nice blend of homestay hospitality and facilities of a resort. They have lot of activities right from early morning ( trek to beautiful Pandavara gudda and antique temple) to daytime activity ( lot of indoor and outdoor games, soak in stream, Zipline, get dirty in slush ) and evening ( trek to sunset point) and night ( Karaoke, bonfire, music etc.). . thanks to all the staff and owners for hospitality. Last but not the least, food is just mouthwatering, especially the pepper chicken. It was great weekend and will be in our memories for long

I'm writing this review with an immense happiness and pleasure. I had been to Streamedge with my friends and we had a wonderful time at this place.it is a fantastic place which offers very tasty food with good varieties of dishes, extremely nice place with different activities to play. It is well maintained with 24 hours hot water and appreciate their cleanliness. I just cannot forget the 2days that I spent at this homestay. I totally enjoyed the beauty of nature around and flowing river at the back of our room. I also enjoyed the morning fog, going for cycling, jogging, playing TT and cricket with my friends. The owner Sindhu and her husband are very friendly and they literally take care of each and every customer so well that it just gives you a personal touch. They have really exceeded my expectations in terms of hospitality and I would highly recommend this homestay to others as it is a great value for money. Thanks to Owners and waiter Rajesh for taking care of us so well.

Streamedge homestay is Awesome place to get relaxed physically and mentally in our Busy schedules, We are happy and satisfied that we planned our holidays in this Resorts, we booked a pretty cool wooden cottage,My kids enjoyed to the core, as they had all sorts of comforts to play and enjoy..Food was healthy and tasty.Staffs were really cooperative and good enough, They also guided us to visit nearby places... overall I can say very Good place to spend holidays

It's very nice place to enjoy your weekends. As it is inside the forest, it is very cool. Games are good if you going with frds. They provide hot water for bathing, this is great when you are in remote location. Food they provide is good and there is no complaint.

As it is a forest be prepared to see some snakes and leaches.

This place is simply awesome and had given great experience for our team of 32. All the rooms, Dorms and dining area very neatly maintained with friendly staff. Friendly staff that reminders me of Dileep, kudos to his energy levels and the way he encourages,drives and pushes you for participating in all the activities and ensuring you having a great experience at the homestay, just doesn't let you relax ;).

Though we couldn't find time to utilize all the available indoor and outdoor activities, this home stay includes Stream Zip line, Rope walk, Rain dance with music, Trampoline, cycling, Mud volleyball along with a table of Foosball and Table tennis. Visit to Pandava Gudda, Abbi falls and Sunset view point are part of your package - Dileep ensured we had fun at these places ensuring safety. Campfire with DJ/karaoke was truly memorable.

Lunch, Dinner - Non-Veg food was yummy and Veg was decent, Kudos to Krishna cook for his excellent job and appreciate the efforts from Bharath(Manager) for ensuring everything is available on time. Staff waited patiently till late night to serve dinner post our party.

Only disappointing factor would be the breakfast menu which has limited varieties and regular ones like Kadubu and Upma on the first day, Idli and Vada on the second day. Have expected varieties coming to a place like shakelshpur since the provided ones are very regular and you get in part of the country. But, that doesn't stop me for giving a 5 star rating.

Sindhu Ji (Homestay owner) was really helpful and showed lot of patience in addressing all our queries/concerns. Ensured all the promises are fulfilled. Expecting Sindhu and team to work on breakfast menu for better experience. Overall, this place has given us a memorable experience and would be looking forward to come back in the near future.

It was such an amazing stay. If you are looking for a place away from hustle of the city, if you love scenic beauty, greenery, mountain ranges, games, tasty food with awesome ghee on it - this place is a must visit then. This resort has a stream flowing just beside it which had a rope bridge tied onto the either side of the stream. It was fun walking on it. Also there was a zip line which takes you directly into the water. Hospitality of the people over there, is amazing and unmatchable, they are so so helpful and kind. The place was very neat. They had karaoke night, dj, bonfire at night.
The games they had were dart, tt, carrom, chess, badminton, soft archery, trampoline and many more. There were cycles also have a ride. Abbi's falls was quite far from this place.
And yes, do take your own vehicle there, as it is very difficult to travel there if you don't have a vehicle of your own. And the other conveyance charge a lot and you can't take a bicycle to go around and the road gets quite steep at some places.
Since we didn't have one, the owner drove us to the sunset point on their car, as already said, they were very helpful.
Overall it was an amazing stay.

It's a perfect weekend getaway at stream edge resort. The staff and the owners are very hospitable and accommodating. The place is clean, food is tasty and the view points from here are breath taking. At night, the bonfire and karaoke activity was a lot of fun. It's a great place for a family outing.

We went as a group of 6 and stayed in 2 spacious rooms side by side. The cottage as suggested by its name is located right next to a stream.
The owners of the place helped us since the beginning - right from when we were planning the trip, suggesting us the itenary for the day.
The food here is delicious and the rooms are very well maintained.
Of the out door activities in the place we loved the slush volleyball the most. Both the trecks that we went had great views and were not very tiresome.
The homestay is located 40 mins away from the railway station. They don't have pick up and drop service but they helped us in arranging a vehicle.
We had an amazing experience in the homestay with very little or almost nothing to complain about. Would definitely recommend the place which is worth every money spent.

Place is very peaceful...quite well maintained...service is very good...staff are very good...food is awesome both veg and non veg...surely iam looking forward another trip soon...

It was our first visit to Sakleshpur and I m sure it couldn t have been better .Our stay at the streams edge was very good.There are a lot activities one can do in and around the property .The staff was very courteous and made sure that we were comfortable throughout .Thank you guys ,looking forward to seeing you all again

Easy to reach, comfortable rooms, hot water, food : great taste with variety of options and best thing is unlimited quantity. They allowed and helped us to cook barbeque.

Hi Sindhu, we had a good relaxing time at StreamEdge. It's a lovely place. My personal favorite is the stream itself :) the kids (twins aged 3-a girl & a boy) had a great time & my son thoroughly enjoyed the rain dance. My husband & mother-in-law liked the place too. We had just wanted to relax & do nothing for a day, so this was perfect.
Bharath & Guruprasad were super helpful. We were well taken care of. They seemed very hospitable & paid attention to the kids as well. That says a lot.
The room/dorm was comfortable. The only thing i should have checked with you is regarding where the dorm is situated. My m-i-l found it a little difficult to climb up & down the steps but managed okay. Maybe you can proactively mention that part in future for people who are looking to book the dorm.
The food was good as well. We didn't have to worry too much about kids eating as they ate what was prepared.
A good quiet family trip is what we had wanted & that's what we got. Hopefully another visit sometime in the future. Good luck & thanks again :)

We were a group of 8 people and we enjoyed the place to the core.!! The ropeway crossing , mud volleyball , rain dance , trampoline , indoor games were well placed .. the stream near the homestay is the key highlight... The people r way too friendly and courteous...Philip took us around the place for sunrise and sunset viewing point.. the bon fire in the night was enjoyed by all with a round of karaoke !!! Food was good.. specially the neer dosa,onion chutney,akki roti,Kesari baat , shavige paysa was really tasty.. rooms , bathrooms, and the area around were clean !!

Stream edge is an amazing place to relax and enjoy nature at its beauty . I stayed on 29th June 2019 ( Saturday ) beginning of rainy season and enjoying dancing in rain . There are many indoor activities like rain dance , mud volleyball , Zip-line ,Cycling , trekking ( one in the evening and one in the morning) , other various indoor games . The best part of this homestay is the location. The rooms were maintained well..! Food - it's average , but their rasam is a must try ..! I really loved the trekking points.! It's a nice place wen you want to relax..! As I'm a nature lover I just enjoyed staying in this place .!

Streamedge Sakleshpur was a great host to our 2 days and one night team outing planned out for 30 people. The resort was a great location for us to unwind with a great view of nature, spacious rooms and clean bathrooms. The resort had a lot to offer in terms of team activities like cricket, cycling, trekking, mud volleyball, zipline and a few small
Games too like fooseball and Table Tennis. The organisers were very helpful throughout the trip and were checking in every now and then. The food arranged was good, bon fire was definitely one of the highlights along with karaoke which was arranged on special request.

The only suggestion to streamedge would be to keep a few more jeeps available for trekking for group as large as ours as the maximum people who would go on jeep were 10 versus 30 that was the size of our group due to which we ended up taking the bus upto a point closer to the trekking point. A lot of these trekking places aren t the most widened roads and so, buses don t usually fit in there. Apart from this, overall we had a great stay and outing.

Stay was awesome; beautiful view. Food was very good both Veg and Non-Veg. Hospitality was good; Shanoj and Sindhu were very friendly.

We had been there for a team outing and we had a good time...its definately a great weekend getaway..The stay is covered with greenery on all sides and the stream running in the property makes it even more special...Food is excellent and place is well maintained with good hygienic rooms...a special mention to the staff, who were very helpful

Surroundings are beautiful and you can enjoy the bicycle ride which the homestay offers...!!! There is a stream which flows beside the homestay and it's wonderful. There are paddy fields in front of the homestay entrance.

I have been to streamedge a couple of times. .once with office colleagues and most recently with my family. It is a great place for a quick getaway. Plenty of activities like zip lining, mud volleyball, rain dance, cycling, indoor games and short treks. The food served is really tasty and the entire staff is very courteous. I highly recommend this place for someone looking for a quick weekend getaway.

We were a group of 3 families and opted to stay in the dormitory. The place was absolutely clean a s well maintained. A small stream passes by the property where you can dip your feet and wade through. There are plenty of entertainment options like karaoke in the evening, slush volleyball, outdoor net games, trampoline for the kids, tandem cycling, regular cycles etc. For nature enthusiasts, the owner is happy to guide them to various trails for trekking and waterfalls. Don't miss the amazing birds that fly around in the wild around the property.

Where should I begin Shanoj's hospitality, his singing abilities, Sindhu's politeness, Guru's sweetness and his dancing skill or the serene quietness and possibly a wonderful place for bird watchers, the tranquil stream flowing are all something that we can t get to see in cities we stay. It s worth the bucks and time spent. For a year old place I must rate them 4 out of 5 for ambience, hospitality and location. The sunset peak trek was an amazing experience, the car drive on those narrow roads was spin chilling but worth the drive and the trek. The Habbi falls is a must go water fall just before you hit Streamedge. However more trees can be planted in the homestay for shade and for kids to experience nature more up-close. Food is good but I would have preferred malnad food, this is one constant complaint from me every where I go that we have to stick to our authentic cuisine and I would love if there isn t so called Chinese and North India in my plate, well the food definitely was good, but my personal preference is authentic cuisines of the region. I would surely recommend a visit to #streamedge Shakleshpur.
