Well laid out chain grocery store. Deli fish and meat countess are each quit good. Self checkout lanes are fast and convenient as are the bar code scanners that you take with you as you shoot. I do like the app that lets you scan from your pen phone the best. Overall it is a good and generally uncrowded shopping experience.
Cool. Open at 7h30am...business hour displayed, open at 8am. Earlier is better. Staff very helpful.
Good prices if you have their 'club card'.

It's my go to place in the area. Produce seams streaky but you can still get decent seasonal goods.

Stop n shop your usual grocery store, covers your basic. The works have no ideas where anything is. If you ask and they don't know then, they'll tell you the product is discontinued. You will find it later in the store in a random place. Although it is super convenient and the saving deals are nice, add some coupons and you got a good deal
Management needs to hire more people in the deli section, I used this store for a long time but stopped because of how bad the service is. I stopped by today out of convenience, but I was reminded why I avoid the store, it took over 40 minutes to get served. There was 1 person working, and you could tell she was new, she was by herself for 15+ minutes and then finally the other worker came over to help her after he was done cleaning, absolutely ridiculous.
Prices are high, but selection and check out are great.
Stop and shop consistently disappoints me. Always seems to be packed with customers yet the checkout with have about 3 lanes open. There are self check out options but even those sometimes have closed lanes.
Very spacious, clean, organized and the self checkout was very easy to use.

Use your Stop & Shop card get a scanner. Scan you items put into a bag and when you are done. Just press the checkout button and scan it at the fast lane checkout pay and done
I wanted to pick up some paper cups for a party... couldn't find a single paper option. Not one. All plastic or Styrofoam cups. Seriously, what year is this Stop and Shop? It's stuff like this that makes me realize, the earth is in serious trouble.
Decent sized, clean, decent sized organic food selection.
Only my second time there and both times i was in and out but the store has a great selection
No disrespect intended, but having two more senior people working the deli on a Saturday is probably not the best scheduling idea.
Average Stop and Shop location. Ample parking available. Conveniently located off of McGrath Highway in Somerville. Friendly, professional staff who know how to answer the phone and they not only know what a water cooler is, but also whether or not they carry water cooler bottles -which is far more than what I can say for Star Market staff.
Its ok but there not sure what there doing with wic customers didnt carry the Similac my son needed cashier was kinda rude a little difficult to find what your looking for the revere layout much more organized

Poor quality control. Deffinately double check the exp. dates on your meat before you buy. Produce selection and quality is mehh (average). Prices are disappointing. Dunks inside is a great feature and staff is pretty good at getting you in-and-out quickly. The lines are never too long. Plus, the store is clean.
They were out of stock of 3 things I was hoping to get!
This place has the crappiest produce and they often knowingly sell rotten or expired products. Markey Basket, Star Market and Big Y are so much better. I just go here when i absolutely have to.
It's a supermarket with tons of food, but you probably already knew that. I'm not sure if the prices are good or bad, but they seem reasonable, and it's the largest grocery store for quite some distance if you plan to walk.
Store was as expected, nothing special. However, I observed one employee with no mask behind a counter area and another out among customers on the sales floor with a mask around their neck. I wasn't even looking around for this type of behavior. Does not make me feel good about returning to shop there.

As supermarkets go this one is fine for what you need. It's not humongous nor is it very small but it usually has what I need. Plus their produce, deli, and bakery are great!

This stop and shop is great. It got almost everything that I want. It even got seafood. I don't mind coming from a long distance like 15 to 20 minutes away to shop there. You need to try it too.
Well stocked. Neat and clearly labeled aisles. Sanitizing wipes were available to wipe down your cart. An employee was checking to make sure customers had masks on and probably counting how many customers entered on that time of the day. There were shields around the registers, but I don't quite remember if all the employees were wearing masks.
Hard to find help, some staff didn't know where things were located. Self-pay machines frequently malfunction
There's no doubt this store will have everything that you need. There are sufficient Latin , Asian and other kinds of food in the store.theres also ample parking and although it is off of a main Street it is not a busy area as it is a dead end . This leads to easy parking and fast access . Not to mention the store is close to assembly and 3 bus routes (101,89,90). Additionally its open very late (at least 10 PM) . You can also get money orders here and fill your prescription as well as have access to a full service Deli and Bakery . If you can't tell by now this grocery store is built on convenience - I truly believe that is their sole mission. But keep in mind YOU are paying for that convenience $2 for a loaf of plain white bread , $6 for 2 Lbs of ground beef , $3 for a liter of Canola oil , $2.30 for 12 eggs, 5 whole garlic cloves for $2.30 , the list goes on and on . Although I like that I can always find everything I need this grocery store is not the most affordable option around . I instead go to Aldi in Medford to get my weekly grocery needs and try to buy online whatever they don't have (for example Aldi does not carry Siracha sauce ). I'd rather go out of my way to have a ** FULL ** cart of groceries ($60) that will last me ~1Wk than to spending $70 for much much less at Stop and Shop . Stop and Shop is not a bad store in fact it's very nice and clean and again have almost everything you could want but simply just too expensive.
The person that helped me at the deli was very pleasant and friendly.
Clean store..but the fruit and vegetable selection can be a bit more fresher..the green beans looked like a truck ran them over and the greens were a joke. Maybe it was all a bad bunch..something that ahould have been thrown away instead of trying to sell to the public
