I spoke with Chase Hollon via e-mail after my boss had purchased his truck and stated how everything went smoothly with his purchase from Chase. My entire experience was just as smooth because of Chase being very professional, knowledgeable, conscientious of my requirements/needs in a truck and I would highly recommend Chase at Stokes to anyone wishing to purchase a vehicle. Plus I wan't there for 4 hours waiting on paperwork and to get into F & I to finalize the deal.

We we're told the place on the windshield had been fixed but it was not. The first time I used defrost cracked from one side to the other. Also after driving for 5 days hub caps are loose and rattling. So must have been rigged so wouldn't rattle.

I saw a truck on the internet and was able to negotiate via the internet. When I got to the dealer, everything was as stated. They did everything they could to expedite the paperwork and after about 2 hours, including my test drive, I was out of there with my truck. It was great working with Dustin and I wish I could remember another guy. Don't know if he was above Dustin, but he would come in and talk to us. All were very nice and friendly. When I buy another vehicle, first place I'm going to look at is Stokes Automotive.

Gil knows more and is more passionate about cars than anyone I know.

Had a horrible experience they told us one thing and said we got approved and then we get the loan for the down payment and all of a sudden it changes and we are no longer approved for the offer and they try to do everything they can to force us to trade in our only vehicle for the one we wanted when the whole point was to get a second vehicle. We would never go their again wasted our time and our entire day when we could have gone somewhere else.even made me cry from the whole experience.

Got there at 8:05 for a 8:30 appointment and pulled up to quick lube line. I sat there about 10 minuets until a service advisor told me I was in the wrong line..NO SIGNS..I then moved to the service line and was then told did not matter if I had an appointment I just had to wait...so I waited from 8:05 till 10:00 for just a oil change and appointment didn't matter! Will not make another appointment because was a waste of my time

I purchased an AWESOME 2014 Infiniti QX60, no haggling, I asked for a fair price and my salesman went the sales manager and printed off an exclusive offer for me. I searched other dealerships, not only could they not touch the offer they insisted I purchase that vehicle from Stokes. That's how great the deal was. I'll recommend anyone looking for a very clean used vehicle at an amazing price to Stokes Automotive. I'd give more stars if I could.

They lied, quoted me different prices and details... once I called the lady on her lies she said she doesn t sale cars she just works there like what s your purpose you ran my credit... appraised my trade, gave me a buyers order ... now that you are caught in your lies you want to separate yourself from selling cars.. well what do you do? She never answered that she wasted my time and credit inquires! Only thing good is the sales manager tried to help me after the other lady screwed everything up but she still was no help!

They helped us out when we got bad diesel in our truck. They got us in right away. Communicated well what our options were and did their best to get us up and runny as quickly as they could. They are also pet friendly!

Had a great experience with the purchase of my truck. My salesman Chase was a pleasure to work with. He was very knowledgeable and helpful.

They have screwed us over for the last time. Poor customer service. We took our car in to check if the thermostat was covered under our warranty and they ran a diagnostic on it without our permission. We already had one done somewhere else so we already knew it was the thermostat. Now we have to pay the fee for a diagnostic we did NOT ask for. When we called and explained the situation the manager was very rude and unhelpful. Don t go here unless you want to be ripped off, cause they will get as much money from you as possible. If I could give them a zero star rating I would.

Go on down to Stokes and talk to Mark McKee. He s a good man and a great salesman. He will do everything he can to put you in the car of your dreams.

They need more than one person working at the desk. Things may have gone faster. Brian was very busy and was doing a pretty good job assisting customers.

Mark McKee is an awesome Christian salesmen. Very knowledgeable about vehicles and very helpful and detail oriented. Take his time helping you find a vehicle off your dreams. Would recommend anyone to go get your next vehicle from him.

No problems with the service but don't be in a hurry. Once or twice they've had me in and out quickly - and once was on a Saturday. Generally, expect an hour for an oil change and it has been longer.

The staff at Stokes Automotive in Clanton, AL were courteous, helpful, and not the least bit pushy. Their prices were fair compared to other dealerships in the Birmingham area as well. They made my first auto purchase easy and even pleasant. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area.

Truly great experience. Car buying has always been a chore, Justin Martin made my car buying experience a pleasure. In and out with my new vehicle in no time at all.

Service department charged my girlfriend $135 to hook up a CPU and read the code. Then wanted $485 to replace a rear wheel speed sensor which is ONE 10mm bolt and a $20 part. If you need work done on your Jeep go ANYWHERE and I mean ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!!

dealing with these fools is impossible. don't waste your time or money, go elsewhere! i wish i wouldn't have bought my vehicle there! i worked there and they still ripped me off. the service department rocks though, i can at least say you can get your car serviced there with no issues. I have bought vehicle from almost everyplace i have worked this is the first bad review i have had to write. DO NOT GO THERE!!

I'd suggest that you AVOID this dealership. They are just like that little gas station car lot with the trick language and half truths. Their service department has no idea how to tell if something is wrong with a trade in, so definitely DON'T BUY A USED CAR FROM HERE. If you decide to take a risk, have your own mechanic to check out the vehicle FIRST.! Heres a list of things to check if you decide to take the risk, so you'll be less trusting and more informed than I was.

1. The age of the tires
2. The manufacturer date of the battery
3. Find out why the vehicle was traded.... ask questions
4. Drive the car for more than a few minutes so any hidden problems will reveal itself
5. Dont trust a carfax from this dealership.... I mean it 100% DON'T TRUST IT
5. Make sure the codes haven't been cleared. Some cars all that has to be done is the battery changed and that check engine light will reset.
6. Any work that their service department did, have it checked.... PLEASE ask why they felt the need to do it. It'll probably reveal something you may need to know.

10. Look under the seats... there was a scarf, a bloody tissue and a bunch of gas station receipts under the seats. So they didn't even clean the car out good before putting it on the lot.
Obviously all these things could be argued by them.... but I haven't called and asked them for anything. I've just dealt with it. I understand the as is language they use, I just thought this place was an exception to that rule. I was wrong. Use this review as it's meant to be... a warning to the next person who just doesn't want to get taken for a ride.
