Stockton Airport Is So Convenient For Travel To Vegas with Parking, Flying, and Being Local. GO STOCKTON!!!!

Great little airport. I had no problems, except that my flight was slightly delayed. But i kinda expexted that after reading other reviews. Employees were all super nice and helpful. Will definitely be flying out of this airport again!

Yes Stockton has an airport as long as I can remember I was was born & raised in Stockton however I wasn't aware of all of the business it has acquired over the years

Great airport for quick inexpensive travel to Vegas or San Diego.

When I told friends that I was flying to Vegas leaving from Stockton, their first reaction was not, "Have fun! Win some money!" it was: "STOCKTON HAS AN AIRPORT?!?".

So yes, there is a small airport here. As far as I know, Allegiant Airlines is the only larger commercial airline that flies out of here. There is only one gate, and you have to walk across the tarmac to the plane. When we deplaned from Vegas, we got the chance to walk out the "butt" of the airplane. (I know there is probably a more technical term for it!)

I didn't bother with the restaurant, it was like NINE DOLLARS for a bowl of soup. No thanks. I did drive down the road to an awesome taqueria/convenience store, bought my carnitas burrito and proceeded to chow down while waiting for my flight while envious onlookers coveted my burrito.

When I got there on a Thursday, parking was $5 to park overnight. You fill out a form in the airport with license plate #, etc. and some money and stick it in a metal box. When we left the airport on a Sunday, overnight parking had increased to $7 a night. Does this mean it costs more on the weekend - or was it a price increase? Don't know.

Duty free shopping? Who needs it. If you're after a no-frills, country-feel airport, this is the way to go. Oh! I did hear that Allegiant will be adding a flight to Hawaii direct from Stockton soon.

Great airport no hassles the restaurants a nice place to relax and grab something to eat before your flight good food and friendly employees. The parking is no longer free it's $10 today but not bad compared to the other airports.

Latries brook your self for an ride and vented out . I tried to claim down I tired to leave and go with them I even tried to understand what is it called again that I need to figure out what I going through.

Dingy depressing little place. The whole place needs some work

for sure place needs more comprehensive directional signs and lighting around the roads to and from, at the very least.
And call me superficial but..,
Bathroom decor was dated and laughably tacky

but I will say that I liked the vibe of the Top Flight grill. And the blonde lady bartender was so kind and helpful, was able to quickly answer my query about Wi-Fi and password so I could get my GPS up and get home properly. She was able to do so while still staying on the ball and masterfully handling a busy, vibrant, bustling crowd of satisfied patrons

A little different from what I am used to but they got us in and out swiftly.

This is the worst airport they brake the jaw by lettting people get in without IDs. They closed the doors on us 1 hour before check in and made us pay for the next flight. The Pearson to check us in was told to come get our bags and never came.

Waited 2 more hours and the manager came and told us it s not a guarantee someone will come out this situation is out of our hands. Mobile check in was down the entire day and we arrived 1 hour early.

Do I recommend flying there ? Of course not

Great small airport. Easy parking. My only issue is being searched like I was a potential terrorist. Then my bags were searched the same way. It really started me off on the wrong foot. I'm in travel, so I get and understand safety, but this was more about a power trip

This place needs to be updated but besides that the staff is very accommodating.

I had a great experience flying out from Stockton to Las Vegas last week. TSA went by smooth and quick (if it takes longer then its probably your fault, so follow the rules and don t blame TSA). The airport is very well kept and neat, the gate is very nice and chairs are comfortable. My favorite part of Stockton Metropolitan Airport is that it only costs $10/night to leave your car there, what a deal! The area is very well patrolled and they have surveillance cameras through out the parking area. If you come to the airport hungry, there s subway and a restaurant where you can purchase something to eat. They also have vending machines if you just want a quick snack. I highly recommend flying out of Stockton!

Flew from here to Vegas on one winter evening and driving to here is horrible. Area is so dark and no clear signs or directions. It really feels unsafe. I got to go around multiple times just to drop off the rental car. I have taken small
Airports in California and this one has potential but those issues should be addressed for safety and convenience of passengers especially those who are not from the area.

Very small airport. Not many shops for you to eat, pick coffee Or anything but the airport is neatly maintained!

The worse airport I've ever dealt with. They love to delay flights like nothing. No wonder y'all flights are cheap. DO NOT FLY FROM HERE

The staff went above and beyond for us here. You can fly commercially here via Allegiant. The smallest airport I've been in, yet efficient.

Pretty clean inside and out. The building does appear less modern but it works. Free parking unless you park overnight.

Don t waste your time fly from Stockton to LA from UNITED airline Delayed 5 to 6 hour every other day

first time seeing this airport, I thought it has multiple terminals but it only has one of everything one gift shop, lounge/bar area and restaurant

Stockton airport has no respect for the city of Escalon. They have blocked all our complaining by jamming the apps they told us to use to complain about the noise. This airport is not a good neighbor and in the future will probably do more damage to the surrounding areas with noise pollution and air pollution be careful what you wish for.

Love flying out of this airport. Unfortunately parking fees keep going up and there is no other choices for off-site parking.

The restaurant in the terminal is decent and the prices are excellent. Not the rip-off airport food prices. The quality was a lot better a couple of years ago. Not nearly as good this last time (in July 2014). They were in the middle of putting in a Subway and lots of construction was going on, but it will be nice to have another choice of places to eat, and Subway you can easily take on the plane with you. Allegiant has a lousy selection of food and nothing is free, not even peanuts or soda.

Would Stockton National Airport be a good name for this place because you can go to other states?

Very quaint. the staff was nice and very efficient. Love the old style of boarding the planes my children get to see the air crafts up close they enjoyed that too as well as our flight.

Super easy to find everything due to the size of the airport. Overnight parking is also very affordable

This airport is super small. It is similar to the Long Beach airport but even smaller. You board the plane via a ramp or staircase on the taxiway in the front and rear of the plane, which is faster and more efficient than only boarding from the front of the plane in a jetway like at most all other airports. The only drawback is when it rains.

Getting to this airport is really confusing. The street access to the airport is really stupid. You cannot get into the airport from Airport Rd in front of the airport. You have to go past the terminal building and turn left at the first traffic light and then drive back to the terminal building area or turn right immediately after crossing Airport Rd on French Camp Rd. The airport layout itself is really weird trying to get out of the parking lot as well. The city needs to open up a driveway into the airport from Airport Rd directly in front of or near the terminal building and just make people circle around the existing small road around the parking lot to get to the terminal entrance.

The TSA employees here are actually pretty friendly and you can get through security pretty fast. This is a plus. Most TSA employees power trip at other airports like at LAX, SFO, and Houston Bush. Also, I don't think there is Pre-Check at this airport. It doesn't matter because the line is never long. I also like that the security area is clean. However, the mens restroom after the security area stinks. Not sure about the mens room before the security check point. Overall, the facility is modern enough looking and clean.

I'm so glad Stockton finally has commercial air service to a major hub like Las Vegas and San Diego. I used to dread driving 6 hours to Stockton from LA or 7 hours from OC or 8 hours from San Diego. Flying wasn't much better because I would have to go to the airport 2 hours before my flight, fly 1 hour into SFO, SJC, OAK, or SMF and then wait about half hour to have someone picks me up after getting off the plane and ride another 1 to 1.5 hour back to Stockton. That's a total of approximately 5 hours of travel time to get home to see family from LA. Because of this inconvenience and only saving about 1 hour I usually just drive. Now I can easily get back to Stockton from anywhere in the country by flying into Las Vegas or San Diego and then connecting to Stockton with Allegiant Air. Family can easily fly out of Stockton to Las Vegas or San Diego and connect to another airline to visit me out of state as well. It's great not having to drive to Sacramento or the Bay Area to fly anywhere.

A negative with this airport is only having one airline with service and only going to Las Vegas and San Diego (and Phoenix-Mesa, AZ). It would be nice to have non-stop service to LAX, DFW, IAH, SEA, JFK, DEN, and other destinations. I really would like to see Southwest and Alaska/Virgin America offer service here. In the meantime, having only 1 airline, Allegiant Air, is better than nothing at all. You can still connect to another airline to get to where you want to go in Las Vegas or San Diego. You just have to buy an extra ticket.

Also, Allegiant does not have a check-in kiosk at this airport. Not sure if Allegiant has kiosks at other airports. You have to wait in line to check in with an agent or do like me and check in on your phone and go straight to security.

Overall, travel to and from SCK is very easy, quick, and convenience. Now I can visit family frequently and not just once or twice a year.

This is a convenient location for domestic flights, but its quite outdated and could really benefit from a renovation.

I dont fly because TSA has ruined commuting by airplanes with the ridiculous hours of delays getting through security. Ironically today I went to this airport to pickup a rental car and TSA has the entire airport shutdown so they can do training. So they are not just delaying transportation today they are totally prohibiting it.

Easy in and out, TSA is a little over the top but this day and age that may not be bad, overall easy !

I would rate 5 stars if only the airport was modernized. Remodel this airport and you will get my 5 stars! Definitely has potential... would be nice if they made it international or offered more flight destinations.

It's the Stockton Metropolitan Airport. Not Sacramento the have their own air ports. Stockton has one

great way to fly out to vegas! not too cheap but great time saver!

Cheap flights through Allegiant. One of the smallest airports I've been to.

Great airport! Staff is very friendly and the new terminal is really nice! However, I wish the main lobby/terminal before security checkpoint was renovated a bit to look more modern like the terminal, especially the restrooms; other than that great airport! Would recommend for anyone to book from here to travel anywhere in the world with the connection in LAX with UNITED airlines that this airport offers.

The airport is clean and the TSA lines are fast but I haven't made it out of the airport without a 3+ hour delay. Can't beat those low rates!

Happy that Stockton has an airport, gives you an option to not have to fly into Oakland or San Francisco. Alligent airlines has super low fairs and fly's out of here!

I love that we have a airport in Stockton California except, for every single fee they charge ends up not what you think the fee starts with. And then there are delays...that can be unnerving but nevertheless still content we have an AIRPORT

If you want to go on a quick getaway to Vegas, Arizona or San Diego for an affordable price. Allegiant is the way to go.

How many engineer's does it take to change a light bulb on a plane?
None, there too stupid so they just cancel the flight. It may be cheap but its not worth it.

Horrible, absolutely Horrible!!!! Security is totally unreasonable. I am unable to go through the scanner due to a heart monitor so I was frisk like a criminal. Humiliating going between my legs in public. Completely emptied my personal bag even pulling my credit cards and etc. half way out of slots. The one so called security was going through my bag while the gal was searching me. I wasn't even where I could watch until half way through the emptying of my personal bag. After he emptied he took the contents along with the bag and ran it through the check bag. This is wrong. Totally uncalled for. Any other airport has a booth with rotating device and or a wand and check your hair. Very helpful as I have vision problems. They were RUDE and condescending. Allegiant Air is good.

Close gate 45min early! Allegiant air! Airplane set on the strip for 50 minutes before leaving. So I miss my flight and they had no other flights leaving out that day.

It's so easy to use this airport compared to Sacramentos airport. I like it!
