We also had a terrible experience with Stocker when simply selling a flat a couple of years ago. Since we weren't buying it should have been totally straightforward. The solicitor was utterly disorganised. She even lied to both me and the estate agent on several occasions telling us documents had been sent out when they hadn't. We almost lost the sale and I ended up in a shouting match with the senior partner. They subtracted their fees before forwarding the proceeds of the sale. If they hadn't, I would have refused to pay a penny. Instead, I wrote it off as a horrible experience. Now, 3 years letter I requested copies of the registration documents for my property we remortgaged with them and was told they don't have them because they sent them already (I requested them twice 3 years ago and they never arrived). Remarkable.

Only put 1 star as I couldn't put any lower. This firm are an absolute joke, incompetent, don't reply, false promises, what more can I say. We have been waiting 3 months for details of their lending panel rererence to secure a mortgage for a property that they are representing us for. I would name names, but not stooping that low. Avoid at all costs

Needed to have certified copies of a couple of documents made so paid these guys a visit. Friendly & polite although their copier seemed to take exception to my very tatty driver's licence which was a fair reaction as, like me, it has seen better days.

We had a terrible experience. Our solicitor was disorganised and incompetent. He repeatedly lied that documents had been sent, or had not been received. We wasted hours chasing things up only to find our solicitor was lying. It was utter chaos. Stocker and Co made the whole experience more stressful than it needed to be

Unfortunately one star is too much but wont allow me to post otherwise. Do not return calls or emails. A simple task has taken over 10 weeks. Rude lady that does not appreciate who exactly pays her wages. One to avoid at all costs.

I used Stocker & Co for a commercial lease matter which required a quick turnaround. I received great advice and communication was excellent. Angelo was always easy to reach and responded promptly to questions, even during his holiday! Deborah provided fantastic office support and was always on hand to answer questions. Would highly recommend this firm.

Used to sell and purchase a property last year. A chain of 2. Would not reccomend. Communication very poor- I found out everything from the estate agent. Solicitor told us she had everything and we would be exchanging (numerous times) but then estate agent would call me saying still outstanding documents from us (we were never asked for them by solicitor!!) or saying she didn't receive things from us so had to forward the emails again! They also lost paperwork. It would get to agreed exchange day, and we would hear nothing from them so had to just assume it wasn't happening. This happened 3 times. Even on the day they never bothered to call to say complete- we had to call them then didn't get keys until late afternoon because they didn't sort things. Tried to make a complaint and asked to change solicitor and was just fed lies. Never again.

Very pleased with Stocker & Co dealing with my affairs. I would recommend them in all departments of law.
