Used to sell and purchase a property last year. A chain of 2. Would not reccomend. Communication very poor- I found out everything from the estate agent. Solicitor told us she had everything and we would be exchanging (numerous times) but then estate agent would call me saying still outstanding documents from us (we were never asked for them by solicitor!!) or saying she didn't receive things from us so had to forward the emails again! They also lost paperwork.
It would get to agreed exchange day, and we would hear nothing from them so had to just assume it wasn't happening. This happened 3 times.
Even on the day they never bothered to call to say complete- we had to call them then didn't get keys until late afternoon because they didn't sort things.
Tried to make a complaint and asked to change solicitor and was just fed lies.
Never again.
