Before reaching out to Steve Rayman Chevrolet, my husband and I had taken our car to 5 other locations. 2 were dealerships and the other 3 were considered ASE Certified 'Professionals'. Needless to say Steve Rayman fixed our car and it runs GREAT! The ONLY problem that we encountered was the length of time it took to get an answer to what was wrong. Communication is key here. We suggest reaching out to the customers, and letting them know the progress along the way. That would have made a huge difference in scoring!

LIES...LIES....AND MORE LIES! I was charged $99.95 to get my car looked at. It was making an intermittent buzzing noise and I wanted to find out what the issue was. I was told that I needed an entire new exhaust system, that the hangers were missing and that the exhaust system was rusted to the point of failure. To replace, it would be $1477. I take my car to a highly rated muffler shop and was told that the noise was a small aluminum strap that was broken. I was shown that all of my exhaust system hangers were in tact and in place. I was shown that my yes there was minor rust due to normal wear and tear of a three year old vehicle, but there was no damage to the system. Just cosmetic and that my exhaust system was in perfect condition. The mechanic removed the strap and the noise was gone.

First, Ben Golzer, was beyond polite and not once pushed any idea or price on me. The next manager, stocky guy with short graying hair and beard, was also polite. We talked about family and how that relates to the price and he was a solid gentlemen.
However, it was the last guy, white short blondish hair, that made the whole experience useless. Let me premise that before I drove an hour and half there I was told on the phone by Ryan Larkin that I could do the black Friday deal with the rebates on the truck. He said yes. Additionally, at the time, I had another sales rep at a different dealership that said the same thing about their truck. So I never felt the need to ask again. But when I did, right before I signed the paper to start the buying process, it all fell apart. That's when the last manager with blondish hair came in. He said there was some confusion and told me I was wrong about the other dealership. When I told him that I drove all the way here because of that, he seemed unconcerned and cared little. He didn't apologize. He didn't try at all yo help figure out a plan. He stuck his hand out and said thank you for your time.
That kind lack of consideration, and not admitting that Ryan had lied was what made this whole experience worthless. I get that some sales reps lie to get customers in the door and to buy products, but at least try to be more considerate at the end of the day.
Also, sales reps need to stop saying dealers don't make a profit. That's such a stupid argument. No one sells a product and doesn't make a profit. Otherwise dealers wouldn't exist by the thousands.
TLDR: They lied and made no attempt work with me in any way, and wasted four hours of my day.

The deal was honored when I arrived at the dealership - no funny business. Only downside of my experience at the dealership was the car ran out of gas when I took it to be inspected by a mechanic. After receiving many recall notifications about my husband's car, I finally decided to take the initiative to schedule a repair time for him. I asked about a temp rental or shuttle, since he would have to bring our young child, and was assured there was a shuttle that ran frequently. If the repair was going to take 4 hours like they said, it was important he be able to take kiddo out of the dealership.
Well, the shuttle wasn't available, of course. Luckily, the recall was fixed much more quickly than expected. That's the only good thing I can say about this. They also let him know he needed an oil change, and to have one tire repaired.
The oil was changed, but they used regular instead of synthetic, which has been less than great on the car. The "patched" tired immediately started leaking again. Now he has to take more time to get this corrected, with no offer of any sort of reparations for the inconvenience.
Add to this that despite me asking MULTIPLE times to get my number taken off of their records and to use my husband's, I still get calls about this. The last time I asked to have it changed, I was told, "I'll try to remember next time, but I'll probably forget." How on earth is there not some sort of computer system to change this in?! I can't imagine a dealership is still using hard copy files in 2019.
When I got my recalls repaired through Nissan, I was offered a loaner car, and was given a free oil change. They were courteous, organized, and very apologetic that I had to even come in for the recall. Even though the repairs went a full day longer than expected, I honestly feel that by far that was the superior experience.
Update: Despite the Service Center scheduling a time to correct the issues above, an oil change and tire repair took FIVE hours, which is almost 3 times as long as the initial visit, which was an oil change, a tire patch, AND the recall repair. On the upside, the shuttle was running this time, so my husband didn't have to walk everywhere. It would have been less hassle and time to have just paid someplace else to fix the issues.

I worked with a few awesome people there that took the time, explained things and made sure I was happy before leaving. Even did follow ups to make sure that I was okay. Dan the Man Schian and Mr Lee are the go-to guys if you do decied to buy your car from them. Dan and Lee worked their magic and had me rolling in the Jeep in no time.

The customer service was ok nothing special the sales guy kept yelling HEY instead of my name which was extremely RUDE, I just happened to look up when he was yelling and motioning to come over to him. I got a used car that had just come in so it needed work and detail, that was 2 DAYS AGO. Gave them my down payment and insurance info. Still no word on my car keep getting transferred to a dam VM that NOBODY CALLS YOU BACK. Getting really frustrated now. I went up there after work just to find out I had to go to the in house financing dept, and gave me 2 options of a Focus that had ripped up seats or a Altima that had almost 176,000 on it. I asked for my downpayment back at this time. They finally found me a car and I have to say I do like it so far, but had I not went up there myself and asked questions I WOULD HAVE NEVER FOUND THIS OUT. Your staff contradicted quoted prices for services(tire mount and balance; $120 & $90), TWICE!!! The staff refused to honor the lower quoted price.
When I finally received a call back from a manager, it wasn't to apologize and to do the right thing and honor the original quote, instead he stood by the inflated price. During this call, the manager and I finally agreed on a price in the middle, $100, when I received the final statement of work for $120, I learned that your management didn't even keep his word!
TWICE, your staff LIED about the quoted price for services rendered!
This is the definition of "bait and switch", your company has unethical practices and potentially illegal pricing and billing practices.

I regret sending the Chevrolet's Service Satisfaction Survey early after experiencing the amount of neglect and ignorance from this team. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!!!!!!!!!!I have been to many car lots, but this is by far the worst experience ever. When I get to the dealership I tell the salesman, Calvin, what I am looking to do and right away he seems very uninterested. He takes me in to do the credit check (which takes over an hour for some reason), then goes to talk to the lady who is apparently running my credit. He comes back with a few cars that he wants me to look at that will be in the monthly price range I want, one of which was a Taurus. I had no interest at all in the Taurus but was curious of what the price was. He then tells me he doesnt know, but it is in my price range and it has 67k miles on it (you can get these all day on Craigslist or Autotrader with the same miles for $4 - $5,000 and this was as base as they come, the only option was power windows!). So I then ask him how do you not how much it is and he goes in to some explanation that makes no sense. Finally after standing up to leave, he tells me he will find out. Again, he comes back with the keys to the Taurus and says he doesn't know the price or even how long the loan is for, and actually asks me if I would like to take it for a test drive while he gets the paper work ready. Needless to say I turned around to leave and he magically comes up with a price of $10,900 which is about $5,000 over Kelly Blue Book. Save your time and go to a REAL dealership, I felt like I was at a buy here pay here dealership, but at least there you are working with someone who seems interested in helping you find a car and is knowledgable of what they are selling. This was and hour and a half of my life wasted that I will never get back. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!

Great location but not a very good selection. Small new and used lots and old school salespeople that greet you at your car door before you can get it in park lol. Gotta love the eagerness to put you in anything on the lot. Just wow, they get a 3 star because they weren't as bad as Carl Black.

I was charged 1500.00 dollars for what looks to be a lot of work that didn t fix the issue! Long story short I was talked to badly, they denied me access to talk to the general manager, and my car is not even driveable now! If you want to rack up a whole lot of charges on your car, for a lot of things that you don t need please take it to Steve Raymon and see Sonya Brown!! They will take you for any penny that they can and will make sure that your car is In worse condition than before! Then talk to you any type of way after they DESTROY YOUR MOTOR!!!!!
4/5/2019: I still don t have my car and no one is trying to get in touch with me! I ve called the dealership on multiple occasions trying to talk to the general manager or and service manager! When I did talk to the service manager they told me that they could replace my motor for $5900.00! It just started out with my motor over heating my car was at least driveable now I can t drive it at all! I drove my car to them to have serviced but now I have to have it towed away from their dealership! This is the worst service exputhat you could ever imagine!! Thanks for nothing and I literally mean nothing!!
4/9/2019: Was told that I will have to have my car towed from the dealership! No repair, no help, no car to drive, and no help with getting another car!! I would advise anyone to spend a dime with this dealership! Because after they get your money you don t matter! I need my car, I have kids to take care of and a sick parent in SC, but that doesn t matter to this dealership because they already have my money and trying to get more! I hope the dealership and everybody that works there BURN IN HELL!!
