Got here the night before, have overnight parking. By appointment only though! 630am appointment. They open at 6 AM. Got door right away, empty with full truck load of palletized potatoes. Empty with papers in hand by 650am!
Getting here is a bit drag. Best route is exit 112 off of I-81. Once you're passed the 9% downhill for 1.5 miles, its a pleasant drive after that!
These guys are great, quick unload, fully explained as to what to do, big yard to maneuver in. The road getting to the location is small though...
AVOID rt 225. Classic ridiculous PA cowpath thru villages built 6' off the road...
Rt 25 off 81 is reasonable.
Warehouse is fine for backing and overnight parking is nice and quiet.
Excellent place to load. The staff is wonderful, the parking is decent there but u do have to pull in front of shop in front of parked cars to be out of the way. The load time on avg is about 30 min or so and the load pays good $$. Ive never had a issue here.
Really quick unloading but careful comings off the scale don't turn too quickly as the end of the scale yellow guide rail has something that can rip into your trailer tires
They took me in a day early. The way not to go in is off I-80, 147,225 to 25. Do NOT go that way. Its a little longer but go in off I-81 to hwy 25. Its a steep hills the first 1.5 miles, but the next 8 are smooth sailing compared to the other way. Beautiful scenery in the valley. Scale in on channel 12. Lots of space to move around.
Usually everything goes smooth here but this time I waited 2 hours for a door and after 2 hours in the door I went inside to ask what's going on because they stopped loading me a while ago but i still had a red light on . The lady inside told me the first shift left at 3pm( an hour ago) and left me in the dock in the middle of loading and that second shift starts at 4:30 pm ...
Hate this place. Very mountainous to get to, dark, and tight roads. Making me wait 4+ hours to get loaded. It s potatoes so you know it s heavy. Best bet is to take 81. I will be avoiding this place too much of a pain to get to it s in the middle of Nowhere in PA.
Called to confirm appointment, then showed up a few hours early. Got into "dumper" 2 hours prior to appointment. Nice people, (receiving and 'frog'). Plenty of room to maneuver into dock. Not much overnight area though.
