True to our founder, Rabbi Stephen Wise, we manifest the central Jewish value of tikkun olam (repairing the world) through such programs as our onsite Next Step Men s Shelter and Emergency Food Program. Every day, we strive to realize the Jewish ideals of Torah (Jewish learning), avodah (worship), and g milut chasadim (acts of loving kindness).

I'm living on the UWS for the summer and took a chance. Very glad I did. I felt completely at home and welcome. Rabbi and Cantor are dynamic, and the congregation is friendly. Very cool band, too.
