If you are a landlord, RUN, don t walk far from this management company! Their communication is horrible! They to almost $6k from me for repairs last Oct and had numerous excuses as to why the work was not completed on the property it was intended for. I finally sold the property and when I asked for my money back, after four times of trying to get a reply, they finally replied and told me they have 30 days to close my account. Fast forward to 32 days later when I asked for my money to be returned, I m told they will check into it by Michelle Goode. I ask the next day if there s an update. Crickets. This is the same way I was treated previously! So now I m really pissed and just fired off a scathing email asking why in the blasted hell I can t get my money nor a reply from them! Apparently it s going to require a lawsuit for this if you can believe it! Seriously?! I actually have to sue to get money that s rightfully mine? If you want a great management company in the Detroit area, go to Metro Detroit Property Management (MDPM). They are amazing! They always reply to emails in a timely manner and take care of any problems I have immediately! Wish I could say the same about these guys, but they are worthless. Stay away! And to think, all they had to do was communicate with me and they could have avoided all of this. That shows the stellar company you re dealing with here!

One of the worse property management companies I've worked with. Took more money off me for works not completed, and when I asked for a balance transfer of the credit on account I chased for over a year and it was never forthcoming. AVOID!

Did not receive deposit back, company closed before doing so. They also, did not complete work on house I was living in that the own approved.

I deal with several property managers around the country and I have never had the continual problems I have had with the Stellar Group. They continually ask for funds for repairs which are questionable and have failed to pay any owner draws in a timely fashion. It is now going on 6 months since I received any owner draws on the 3 homes they manage for me despite numerous emails, letters, phone calls and now correspondence from an attorney I have retained. DO NOT work with Stellar. They are either totally incompetent or intentionally dishonest.

THEY ARE SCAMMERS. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. WE HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH THEM EVER SINCE THEY TOOK OVER OUR LEASE. CAN NEVER GET IN CONTACT WITH THEM. OUR HOME IS BASICALLY FALLING APART.
ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY EVER

The Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs summarily suspended the real estate broker company license of Stellar Properties and Management Group, LLC, based in Oak Park, after receiving information that the company violated property management agreements with three different property owners for four different properties located in Detroit and Harbor Woods.

The principal broker for the company, Consuelo Blakely, holds two associate real estate broker licenses which have also been summarily suspended by LARA.

"Our team took swift action to suspend the real estate broker licenses of this individual and their company to protect the health and safety of Michiganders," said LARA Director Orlene Hawks.

LARA's formal complaint against Blakely alleges she failed to remit rent money to property owners, failed to perform maintenance, and failed to provide LARA with an accounting of all monies received and disbursed for the four properties.

Jack is the worst in respect to his management, real estate transactions. Does not follow up on anything!! Like everyone said run away!

Held my deposit for months after my landlord stop dealing with them. This company is horrible

I have been without water for the past 3 days and since they aren't open weekends, that will make 5+. I have constantly called the office and the only response I get is "we're working on it." Working on it would be fine if I didn't have 2 young daughters at home who has to now go to a family members home to take a bath. My biggest issue is that not once has anyone called and apologized, I have been the one reaching out to find out the status. Horrible customer service and I will never rent under this company again. Icing on the cake... Rent is due... What a joke
