Steigenberger Airport Hotel Amsterdam Review

Nice clean spacious room, equipped with all conveniences .. Limited menu, but good and tasty. Staff at the counter are not all equally adequate.

Here I stayed already often on a business trip. The rooms are always neat, it is always pleasant to relax in the wellness or in the bar. The breakfast is rich and delicious, something for everyone.

Very nice hotel.. Luckily to get run way facing room... Sound proof rooms...

This is a huge airport, but well labeled and fairly easy to find your way around. Leave plenty of time, though, to navigate the distances, security, et al.

Just 10 minutes away from airport.
Good f/p choice.
A free service is always on time.
Rooms are big enough and clean.

Perfect for business and for a out of center stay at good price .

Forced because of canceled flight the night in this hotel. Friendly staff. A buffet was set up for all travelers. Was not super fast but probably created by the unexpected number of stranded passengers. Location close to Schiphol was pleasant.

Bad air conditioning in the hotel. Rooms are just ok. Next to the highway, so can be a bit noisy.

I booked a double bed but was offered twin bed. Had to pay extra for a double bed see eventually. Not recommended

Nice and clean business hotel. Good communication with airport based on shuttle buses. Good breakfast, comfortable beds.

Claim credit card not passed. Of course it is a lie that the card is valid and passed during the booking. While I was waiting in the lobby, another five guests came to do the same exercise. The hotel simply took advantage of the fact that prices were 200 percent higher at the time and canceled the room. Hotels tried to talk to them but to no avail. I had to sleep at the airport on benches. I would not recommend booking this hotel.

Nice and quiet place. Rooms are spacious and quiet despite the face of adjecency to airport.

An excellent hotel.
Rooms are a good size, clean and well equipped.
It lacks nothing.
Kettle, tea and coffee are available in the rooms for free.
For guests the fitness and spa area is freely available.
There is a parking garage, restaurants (about 20 / food), even arcade and air hockey, nice staff.
Feeding the mattresses are very soft.
Breakfast is very good but with ca25euro also very expensive.

Nice hotel, huge! I paid upfront online with a instant wire transfer but as i didnt pay with a credit card, they asked me for a 50 euro deposit on arrival, but there is no mini-bar of anything to eat in the room, so no reason for this deposit in my opinion.
They didnt ask for identification and i think that is essential to ensure a safe environment. The idea that anyone could make a mess there fully anonimous doesn't give me a safe feeling.

the hotel and rooms are exceptional clean, the rooms are well sound-proof, good shower, very comfortable kingsize beds (one of the best I had in a hotel ever) friendly staff, nice inside/outside terrace, acceptable prices for food and drinks, overall I would absolutely recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay !

Wrong, they didn't understand a bigger problem because they couldn't make that technical scale because of my flight problem. Me. They charged the entire penalty.

Comfortable and pleasant hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, but the door to the bathroom is disgusting. No noise insulation, and even poorly closed. In general, the hotel left a very pleasant impression. It is a pity that there is no shop nearby, buy banal daily goods. The breakfasts are superb. There is a great bar with a summer terrace and a pool table. On the floors, opposite the elevators, they put dishes with fruits that can be eaten.
Free shuttle to the port. Bus stop right in front of the hotel.

Very good hotel, close to airport and yet not too far from Amsterdam

Staff very freindlich. Room cleanliness left much to be desired. Hair in the bathroom and faucet calcified. Joints are moldy.

Were really great rooms, great facilities, wellness area good. There is a suit for housekeeping, which unfortunately didn't handle my personal belongings well.

Big airport hotel, difficult to access as it is located on the other side of schiphol. Rooms are well sound-proofed. Staff is not always efficient (I had to ask 3 times to get a new key done properly). The "sport" bar has a limited selection of food, and only show Dutch football.

Somewhat outside, however, remains in the luxury class with young professional staff. Very good service. Breakfast excellent with absolute upper class so thanks for food and drink.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at! Incredibly clean and the staff are amazing, helpful and smiley! It's a bit outside of the centre but well worth the peace and quiet!

Clean and modern room, huge TV, nice bathroom. Very friendly helpful jolly receptionist.
Not too far from the airport, 10 minutes by taxi.

Exceptional spot the amenities are great. There are no restaurants near but there is a small convenience store reasonably close. Restaurant on the premises is pricey, but you can always take the shuttle to the airport for a quick bite. Ive always stayed within the City Centre, but never again. The train runs all day and gets you into town within minutes, the price savings on the room in comparison to hotels with less comforts in town is the clincher. $10 for all day train pass allows you to come n go as you please.

Very spacious room. Nice design and amenities. Media sports bar was excellent for dinner. Breakfast however was extremely expensive.

An aiport/business hotel like it says. Extremely practical with excellent very clean rooms that'll have everything you'll need. Very friendly staff. Quite far from then city. The only people you'll see here are airline crew and business meetings. That being said the Amsterdam forest is right infront of it and makes for excellent walking/jogging and cycling ( which can be rented from the hotel as well)

First time there to very busisses airport plus get our plane was later.but nice airport.

Unpleasant welcome, my English is perfect by explaining that I had a reservation, I had to wait several hours before I could get my room, too bad I thought it would be all the more pleasant, really disappointed ...

Nice hotel, with swimming pool, sauna, Solaris, steam, gym. You can spend whole day in hotel only. They also provide airport shuttle service.

Nice hotel, but a little far from downtown and actually a bit of a drive from the airport. Have a free shuttle that you can take to the airport and then you can take the train into the city.

Absolutely brilliant breakfast! Very nice helpful staff! Great if you fly from Schiphol !!!! I'll definitely be back !!!
