A great place to find custom shapes and sizes of steel for a variety of projects!

The young fellow in the back is super helpful and cheerful, I frequently come here to buy small retail lengths of odd sized aluminum channel and tubing. They charge a bit of a premium for small sections and they charge per cut, but it's all very worthwhile if all you need is a small piece cut to length(s). The storefront has been taken over by fufi home decor which I don't care for.

I have shopped at Steelmet for years whenever I need aluminum materials for various DIY projects. Their selection and service has always been great.

O've been in the retail store a few times. It's a smaller store but has a very good selection of a wide variety of artistic and/or functional outdoor ware. Good service and reasonable prices. Go in and take a look - you maybe surprised at what you find in a "Steel" store.

Was not able to help with what I needed. They kindly referred me to someone who could cater to my needs.

Front desk staff are extremely rude, unwilling to speak to customer about anything relating to the metal material. I was spoken over and repeatedly told to see the guys in the back "I'm just the girl that takes the money" was repeated several times as I tried top explain the situation without ever getting to say what I needed to speak to someone about. Go to Princess auto, home depot, lowes, they all have bulk steel and the service is better.

A great place to get some unique items for the home and garden and the only place to get a random chunk of steel or aluminum.

I went here for a custom fabrication order that involved shearing and braking sheet metal to make a Teppanyaki grill surface and am amazed by the quality of work. Definitely would go here for future custom fabrication projects.

Wow! is all I can say. About 2 years ago, I walked into the store and I noticed a line of jewelry called Kameleon, it gives you opportunity to purchase your choice of ring, necklace pendant, earrings, sunglasses, or belt buckle. Then you get to pick the pops of your choice. I"m in repeadly and I've introduced my whole family to the line of jewelry. But there is more than that in store, there's housewares, wall decor and anything else you may need.

The owners are awesome and allow me all the time I need to review and decide what I'm going to purchase. Most of the time it's one jewel pop, but I have been known to purchase 3 or 4.

Can't say enough about the store and would recommend you go in and check it out, you never know you may become addicted to Kameleon and Steelmet Decor, just like my family and I.

After en email error they reached out to me to make things right. I really appreciated their quick and informative response after they received my email. They answered all my questions and helped me figure out pricing.

Orders some custom stainless steel for my kitchen and they did a perfect job. Reasonable prices and nice people.

Steelmet is a bizarre conglomeration of things which you don't normally find in the same place. I visit them once or twice a year. I purchase lengths of raw metal like angle iron, rebar, even stainless-steel square tubing for home renovation projects like railings and fences. We have bought patio furniture there. I buy jewelry for gifts there. And they have a bunch of arts and crafts type stuff as well.

Great place to buy steel, if you couldn't guess by the name! The attendant was kind and patient with my ordering needs, helped me save some money by figuring the most economical way to cut up my order. Very happy all around. Recommend highly for your steel needs.

Always quick and helpful. This is the Second time I've gone to them for some custom-cut and/or bent tread-plate to serve as a wheelchair ramp for a tight fit, and they always get it done quick and exactly as ordered. A little out of the way, but worth the effort. Consistently my first choice for steel and aluminum.
