Used to love the oysters here.... but they were terribly sucked more shell than oyster

Best restaurant in Atlanta. Just returned from PC Fla. They were serving the smallest Appalatchacola oysters I have ever seen. Steamhouse had large oysters, both raw and grilled. I have traveled to Boston and NE. They have the best lobster bistue I have ever eaten. Would highly recommend.

I love this restaurant. The food is good and fresh. Try the lobster roll, it is to die for!

The food is bomb! You will not be disappointed! My faves are the Oyster Danielle, chicken sandwich and Grouper!

What a wonderful place!! We visited on
May 4th about 2:30pm. I believe our server was Gloria. She was phenomenal!! The lobster bisque (with losbster pieces you can see and taste) was fantastic!! In fact we got a bowl to go for dinner. Definitely recommend this great place!!

Catfish wasn't catfish lol. Waiter is only reason we gave it three stars. He was great

The food here was exceptional. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed. It was a little pricey, but considering the location it was pretty close to what we expected to spend.

Crab legs were cold, sides were not very tasty, and the service was very slow.

The food was okay but the server was not good at all. Not attentive. The shrimp was great and the stuffed shrimp was good. Drink.... no....

Had a bucket of steamed oysters. Our favorite, and asked for lightly steamed. Came out over done and dry. Don't know why the quality has gone down so much. Will not be back

Describes lobster bisque as the best in Atlanta for 25 years...would probably not want to taste the others they have beaten all these years! And seriously, does everyone feel it necessary to fry everything? I ordered scallops as well which only came fried. After I walked 30 seconds to hotel, I soaked them in 1/2 roll paper towels to rid of excess grease then shed all breading and they did actually have good taste but u could boil or blackened as an option for those of use who do not have a "fried food" diet. I guess frying frozen is faster and easier. Seemed like a drinking atmosphere so I guess after u drank a few u might not mind paying $43 for a Cesar salad, bowl of so so soup and a couple of fried greasy scallops....btw, they did let me get broccoli instead of fries with fried greasy scallops but I was told I could not order a kids meal as well for my daughter and kids meals only dine in....so luckily my daughter lIkes c salad and broccoli because she does not like fried food.

Amazing! Love the seafood here was so fresh and yummy! The price was reasonable too! Highly recommend!

I had a FANTASTIC dining experience here. They offer both in-door as well as outside seating. The menu offered a variety of healthy options and the grilled grouper was delicious. I can hardly wait to go back again.

I think I might have found my new favorite place to eat in Midtown Atlanta!! The atmosphere is very welcoming and the food is absolutely DELICIOUS!! I've been here for lunch a few times & the food is always good, so I'm really glad that we decided to go for dinner. The drinks are really good here too!!

Awesome meal tonight. Outside deck was comfortable, overcast, 74 degF. Great local cider, awesome, flavorful crab legs meal (tonight's special... cooked just right), with tasty pepper jack grits and delicious cole slaw. I ate every bite! Leave room for dessert... chocolate dipped key lime pie (on a stick)! Thank you to Darwin for great service!

this place has some really great food. I got the quinoa salad with some blackened shrimp. I normally would not brave a salad at a bar but that s what I wanted and I m glad I did. Super fresh. Tomatoes were awesome which seems like a rarity these days. I also got the Lobster Bisque, one of the things this place is known for. Only got a cup but it s rich and filling so that was plenty for lunch.

The place is okay. Parking is a challenge. The food is average but the lobster roll is overpriced for what they offer. The lobster bisque was honestly too soupy to be really considered a bisque. Nice if you want to drink cheap beer and eat shellfish.

Services was excellent. The waiter was quite the comedian which made our visit even better. Valet parking made it convenient. Food was delicious, drinks were great. I think we tried 60% of the menu on our first visit and the oysters were my absolute favorite. I will be returning soon because just typing this review is making me hungry.

Festive decor but this little seafood place is no lounge. Be prepared for limited self-parking (valet is available for an an additional fee) and to have your patience tested while waiting for service. On a positive note, the catfish is very tasty and the lobster bisque is a must... IF you decide to stick around long enough to finally get your order taken.

This place is our go to for quick bite in the area. The lobster bisque tasted canned but the crablegs and shrimp are good. Try the cran stuffed cod...its Yummers

The food was delicious. The social distancing was ok could've spread out a little more by maybe skipping a booth. The waiter was prompt and very courteous. Definitely, a repeat spot on my list.

My husband and I came to Atlanta for his birthday. Steamhouse Lounge was within walking distance from our hotel, so we decided to try it out. The grouper fingers with cocktail/horseradish sauce was phenomenal as was the steam pot seafood boil. Rebecca, the bartender/waitress/food runner was amazing. At a time when the restaurant was very busy and she had to hold down the bar and the table seating area, the service was phenomenal! She always checked on us and even gave us a lesson on how to open steamed oysters. We ve only had raw oysters in the past. We had a great experience. Thank you Rebecca!

Excellent food and drinks, and I'm not too big on seafood had the shrimp and grits and it was ahhhmazzzing, just the right amount of spice, seasoned excellently!! The steam house sangria was heaven in a glass. They need to sell that stuff by the gallon....I'll take two please!!! my husband got the snow crab legs and they were super tasty and fresh. Our kiddos got the usual chicken tenders and fries and they were good as well, and got their food out fast(which is important with kiddos). We were just in town for the night and this was within walking distance of our hotel. Next time we are in ATL we will definitely be making another stop here.

I love this spot my husband and I just celebrated our anniversary and this was the best restaurant we have had. The red headed attend who park our car was awesome. We will be back very soon thank you steamhouse for our restaurant experience.

Very personable and relaxed atmosphere, the vendor offers indoor and outdoor seating. The waiter was also welcoming, he was able to share recommendations when asked about the menu and had a great sense of humor.

We never got disappointed with this place and we have been there many times. Love their outdoor, grilled oysters, hush puppies, fish tacos and chowder. $2 valet parking is great too. I wish they have beer on tap though!

The best seafood around. I absolutely love this place. If you want a great salty vibe, super cool people, the most delicious seafood in Atlanta. There Oysterfest has made them an Atlanta institution.This is how a great seafood place should be.

Casual environment and if not for the constant Atlanta traffic...You'd think you're on the beach. The oysters are exceptional and the seafood always tastes fresh. I come here on the regular to satisfy that seafood craving! I even came here after visiting the aquarium...Guilt and all its always worth it!!

Nice ambience....outside an indoor seating...valet parking...good food an service..look for the waitress with the short brown hair.

My happy place delivered a great time as usual. I have been going for atleast 20 to 25 years. I even went on one of my off days. I usually go on Monday and/or Wednesday. Those days are my favorite because Mondays are the Crab Leg special day and Wednesday are the Oysters special day. They are some much like the Cheers persona because everyone knows your name and what you may be ordering.

Amazing service, casual cool atmosphere on the rooftop patio. Food fresh, quick, service 5 star waitress was great. Food was so good I m going eat again today ( next day) new fave spot thanks for the great food

Best lobster bisque in the city hands down... and for a great price . Goombay Goombay perfect drink. I d recommend this place for lunch, dinner, happy hr etc.

Fantastic food, even better people. It's the staff and quality of said staff that make a restaurant successful...and the Steamhouse lounge is an oasis in downtown Atlanta. Raw oysters were on point as was the steamed crab.
