Great Seafood and Good Service in the heart of Atlanta.
If you are in Atlanta please make this place a must! Perfect service from Trellis. Very chill environment. Excellent food. I would add more stars if I could.
Not what I expected. Don't go there for special occasions. Loud and food is over priced.
I had a great time. The food and drinks were great as well
Get the lobster bisque, it's amazing. Also had the oysters, they were great. Nice chill place and they have $2 valet!
Looks like a dive, but such good food. The soup was amazing.
It was ok, I had the crab stuffed shrimp, crab cakes and spinach salad. My waiter was very attentive and friendly, but wouldn't be a place I'd return to because the food was mediocre and I lost interest in trying something new on a return trip. This was my first, probably last time here
I love this place and our bartender, Leigh was the greatest.
Because it cheaper and sometimes I can't get in there. But when do I get the best shine there is
The food isn't out of this world, but the people are wonderful, the service is good, and the drinks are flowing. I'd prefer steamhouse as a bar more than a restaurant but it doubles as both pretty effectively.
They say their bisque is the best . . .far from anything resembling best
Seafood was really good here! Took home a lot if food, portions were pretty big. Great staff. Nice location and fun ambiance!
Awesome food, great meal choices especially seafood. To top off a great place with friendly staff! Keep up the good work!
Cool little pub in midtown Atlanta. It has a cool outdoor deck where you can overlook the traffic on Peachtree Street. You better be within walking distance because u don't know where you park. I would of rated it higher if it was in a more desirable, pedestrian friendly location.
Loved it. Service was on point. (Malika) food was good
I went with my sister and a friend for lunch. Service was okay, food was excellent. Will go back again and again for the amazing food. There were only stairs to get in, not sure how it's ADA compliant? Only noticed because I wanted to take my stroller in and it was pretty difficult.
Great food and love the upstairs bartenders. Awesome customer service!
it's a strong no for me. valet's attitude is terrible and the seafood is not fresh. I did not try the oysters. drinks are not worth ordering. I would suggest getting water. nice atmosphere though
The service was good, and the food was better than I thought it would be. I'll go back.
Came into downtown for a show at Center Stage and found the Steamhouse Lounge online earlier in the day. Susie our server was great with suggestions and the Salmon club was exceptional. Definitely will be back when ITP!
Barstaff service has went way downhill. Like they are doing you a huge favor to serve you in thr slowest possible fashion. Too bad as it was awesome at one time
One of my favorites in ATL. A taste of a Florida Oyster bar
Took my son here for his birthday lunch. Crab stuffed shrimp and fried calamari appetizers were very good. My son had scallop basket and i had grouper finger basket. Both were perfectly cooked. Our server was excellent. Having valet parking in Atlanta took the parking hassle away. We both recommend this restaurant highly
Excellent food, drinks and customers service is impeccable!!!! I ve have been dining here since they first opened
The lobster roll is the BEST IN THE CITY. It s my guilty pleasure. So simple and SO YUMMY.
Depending on the night the service can be very good or very frustrating. The food is always amazing thou. Get the Buffalo Shrimp!
Atmosphere was great. Servce CS was a little slow and the food was pretty good.
Great - just everything was Great! Food, beer, service. I usually don't say I'll go back somewhat right away just because there are so many choices but we will definitely go back! We had the Bisque - not as heavy as some but still plenty creamy and full of flavor and Chunks of lobster! Lobster roll - as described Lobster on a roll... With drawn butter... Oh my!! Can't wait to come back just to visit again!!
Cool atmosphere we ate at the outside bar. Food was hot and cooked well.
This place has good seafood for Atlanta. if you are a serious seafood lover you're going to have to take it a little easy on them. The service is really friendly and they have great patio seating. This is a place where you can enjoy your friends over a meal if the weather is nice and try to forget about the pandemic. There is paid parking and plenty of it. There is a $5 lot right across the street and they have valet. The larger patio on the lower level doesn't open until 5pm.
Food is great ...too noisy, can't talk to friends easily.
Wonderful food and service. I enjoyed my visit. I definitely look forward to coming back.
Very mediocre food, I only come for their oysterfest.
Looks like a dive bar, but has some of the best lobster and bisque I've ever had. Oysters were nice and fresh, and staff was friendly. My only complaint was not having a bigger stomach. Definitely coming back
I was with a party of 8 and one of order fried oysters and something in one of them was undescibable. To the point we had mgr come to our table and he compt the food. Not a good look when you have raw oysters on the menu IJS.
Not bad if you stick with the fried foods. Steamed seafood is a bit disappointing.
Great local spot. Plenty of beer choices and the food is awesome. Always find the staff friendly and hospitable. Great place to stop and enjoy the scenery of Midtown. Outdoor seating on two levels.
Love this neighborhood staple! I enjoy going on Wednesdays for their $12 for a dozen oysters deal. I had them yesterday and they were both huge and delicious! I also can't visit without indulging in a cup of their lobster bisque - I highly recommend it. The environment is laid back and unpretentious, and the food is always great. Excellent value, and it's my go-to spot for seafood in Atlanta.
Customer service was good. My fiance and I ordered takeout. We ordered fried oysters, pull n peel shrimp, crab stuffed shrimp, grilled snapper on grit cake with black beans. The portions were ok. The food was decent. We both agreed that crab stuffed shrimp was tasty and the best of all we ordered and would order that again. Will more than likely order crab legs from another seafood place though. Overall, this is not the greatest or the worst seafood we've had.
Nice spot in mid-towne Atlanta to take a break - we walked from the High Museum and were rewarded with a roof top balcony table, happy hour wine prices and The BEST oysters YAY
I had the boiled skillet, the shrimp were not seasoned but the atmosphere was great I would go back for drinks and appetizers. Chicken Nachos were delicious! My husband had the fried shrimp basket and it was good.
Grab your friends and get here if you like seafood you will love this place my eyes were so big here too many things to try great. Help at the table and everything was so good.....!! Great job Chef!!!
One of my favorite places to eat! Everything is a A+!!!
Don't let appearance fool you. This place looks old and run down, but the food was great.
White Russians were delicious! Raw oysters were okay. Great atmosphere. Love the patio, really nice when the weather is good. Server was very attentive..excellent customer service skills.
Great food and excellent staff that make you feel like family!
Laid back bar setting with great seafood at a reasonable price! They also have valet which is a great feature for this part of town. I love Steamhouse!!
Excellent Lobster Bisque. And I love the Salmon BTL. Service is always over the top. Thank you Steam House Lounge.
Looking for a nice, fresh, classic, cajun fried shrimp basket and the BEST LOBSTER BISQUE IN TOWN? Steamhouse Lounge is your place .
Their rooftop seating is great for sunny days, and the nice staff will bring a smile to your face on the rainy ones.
Valet parking is complimentary, but you can cash tip or cash app the attendants.
This place is off the chain
Lobster Bisque is by far the best ive ever had
Been coming to SHL since 1997 and i highly recommend a visit if ypu come to the gate ATL
It was our first time here and the service was absolutely outstanding. Our waiter knew so much about the city and recommended some great dishes. We loved everything we ordered And can't wait to return soon!
I love it! I always come on Wednesday for half price on oysters! Then a black and blue catfish sandwich! Really cool joint!
Great Customer service foods with decent waitress was awesome it was me and my husband s first time going
Delicious lobster bisque, generous portions, nice variety of seafood options.
Delicious! Everything was so fresh and all staff so friendly
Shrimp was frozen not fresh. Service was horrible. We sat outside in 85 degrees not once was water refilled or was asked if our order was ok etc. My last visit for sure.
Great drinks, great food. They can be pretty busy on the weekends so make sure you show up early to get a table. They're packed because they're awesome. Waiters and waitresses are very attentive and the food is wonderful!
Seafood lovers paradise!
Not only was the food great, our server Vee was awesome! From the mussels to the lobster roll, everything was amazing! Thanks for the great food and service!
The beer battered Tilapia was great. But if could've used a littler more flavor.
We went to Steamhouse Lounge because we were looking for crab legs, and we got much more than we bargained for! Divey atmosphere, friendly staff, good food, and what seemed to be a band of regulars hanging around on the main floor. This restaurant looks like a seafood shack from Charleston, and our experience was similar, too!
We knew that the lobster bisque was highly reviewed across the internet, and we were starving when we arrived, so we got a bowl as an appetizer. This soup is delicious, y'all! There was so much shredded clumps of lobster; I'd never had a seafood bisque with so much meat! The flavors were so well balanced, there wasn't any harsh acidity from the tomato, and it wasn't overly sweet, either. This was excellent.
Turns out there was a deal going on for crab legs that Monday night. $12 for a pound! I got that with a side of hush puppies. You know how many restaurants cook their crab legs so that they're too salty? Steamhouse Lounge's crab legs still had that light, sweet crab taste! The melted butter included was garlicky, not too salty, either. I was so happy! A delicious pound of crab legs for just $12? I definitely want to return, and I'll probably order the exact same thing.
My husband got the fried shrimp, which I really liked, too. The shrimp still had that firm, popping bite, which is so important in fried shrimp. He said there wasn't enough breading on the shrimp and that it fell off, but I didn't notice. I could have eaten all of his food along with mine.
Our waitress was covering the entire main floor, and she was great. It seemed like everyone was enjoying everything at this place. It was a great atmosphere.
Excellent place went last Friday for date night. I have bad knees but I went upstairs. The female bartender was great she made excellent drinks and had the best personality. She made us feel welcome and was very attentive. The food was great arrived fast. The music the amosphere everything was so great. We enjoyed ourselves going again soon. And you even get to seat yourself
