Visiting Atlanta for the day, strolled by on our scooters and this place was delicious! Also I highly recommend the beer lol. A laid back and relaxing atmosphere :)

My husband and I stayed near here during several trips to Atlanta - the lobster bisque is wonderful. They have tons of seating, even outside on the upstairs deck. I can't remember which night but they have a snow crab boil that is so fun and very tasty! Bartenders are very friendly.

Solid location. Solid food. Solid price. Only thing I was upset about was the whisky lemon rind. I was expecting lemon peel, they used Lemonheads. Max's it to sugary. Other then that. Great place

TL:DR: If you're going to serve food in the heart of midtown with hundreds of exceptionally good restaurants all around you, step up your game a bit. This place was just okay but frozen food won't have us returning.

It wasn't busy when we arrived on a Saturday night around 5:30. We ordered the "half and half" and it was tasty and came fast (as it should since its raw and served chilled.) My husband ordered the red snapper entree which stated that it came grilled but arrived breaded and fried so look out for that. I ordered the crab plate and while the crab was as good as you can hope for when you're 4 hours away from any ocean, the hushpuppies were really oily and soggy, as if maybe they were fried in oil that wasn't hot enough and the fries were obviously frozen crinkle cut fries from a factory and were also oily and soggy. We then ordered a slice of the key lime pie but the server must have forgotten and she just ended up bringing us a check eventually which we didn't ask for yet. I had to go ask the kind barman for a to'go box eventually and we left. Valet parking was fast and only $2 and if it's raining and freezing like it was on the day we went, you better tip them well. They work hard for it.

Tasty!

The Steamhouse Lounge has been around forever albeit not only at this location. I've been frequenting this place for many years and you can expect a variety of clientele and a very friendly staff as it has always been. You must try the Lobster Bisque! Also I'd highly recommend popping through during the Oyster Festival which is held annually and includes live music and tons of fun!!!

What a great experience! I hadn't been to The Steamhouse Lounge since '93 (in its previous spot). We had a fantastic time. Our server, Rebecca, was a gem. Sweet, attentive and funny. The food was delicious. Lobster roll and bisque for me, catfish sandwich for my husband and a refreshing quinoa salad for my friend. All cleaned up perfectly by us.
For a cocktail, I recommend the lemon head whiskey sour. What a glorious concoction! Well done! We'll be back soon. Thank you.

Best seafood in Atlanta. The oysters are very fresh and amazing. The mussels are the best we had in the US. The fried catfish is one of my favorites.
Lively casual place in midtown with very nice and friendly staff.

Service was decent at best. Even though the restaurant was not very busy we had a long wait as I watched our server walk past several times. Maybe I'm a bit needy. Food was wonderful and our entire group loved everything we had. Lobster bisque is a must!

The seafood nachos are so fresh & delicious as well as the seafood steamer with potatoes, corn, & sausage! The staff is very friendly & the rooftop view is very nice if you can get a seat outside.

I really enjoyed the crab cake melt with fries - yum! Our server was very friendly, helpful, and honest when we were soliciting his recommendations from the menu. They have a fair amount of local beer and the patio seating area is massive. Would return again!

I would definitely recommend this place for outdoor drink and apps. However, the food is not very good. Very cheaply made with few side selections. It is a fun atmosphere for outdoor drinks, but the inside is not very clean. Also, a lot of the chair are uncomfortable which I know is an odd complaint, but it was noticeably annoying. The service is okay. Nothing to rave about nor complain about either. I will probably go back for a couple beers if it is nice outside, but not very often.

Seafood restaurant where the emphasis is on the seafood. There are some unexpected choices and you can make your own combos, plus a few non-seafood options and several sides to choose from. Casual, somewhat ecclecticly nautical themed ambiance. Well prepared and reasonably priced seafood is the real takeaway.

I just want to take a moment to thank God for the life and hands of the person who made this lobster bisque I'm eating right now! I use to live in midtown so I could eat here regularly but since I moved to Tyrone, eating here is a special occasion. My husband picked me up some for Valentine's Day and it is the best gift ever! This is STILL HANDS DOWN the best lobster bisque I've ever had.

Around tall, impressive buildings of concrete and steel Steakhouse lounge stands just 2 stories high built of lumber and nails a old house overflowing with illustrations and throwbacks. A friendly attentive service staff serving great food from the kitchen . Great food prepared with great skill

Service was excellent, the waitress was nice, the oysters were great, though they were out of one particular variation, the Rockefeller. The fries were tasty and so was the calamari. The fired catfish was disgusting, it tasted unclear and rancid, the portion size was generous, but inedible.

One of my favorite casual seafood, bar food, and drink spots in Atlanta. Reminds me of Florida every time with oysters iced on the half shell, margharita in hand, and game on the tv. Always consistent food, great service with good value.

My steamhouse experience was A1. Everything from the staff and most importantly the food was amazing! Chargrilled oysters and shrimp was beyond fresh. Funny to say, but the fries was whoa. Definitely a must if you're in the area.

This is our absolute favorite place in Atlanta! Everything about this place is awesome. When you walk in the door you are greeted by friendly staff and told to "have a seat anywhere you'd like". You have an upstairs, downstairs, and outside area to choose from all with bars and different bar tenders. On our most recent trip, we were greeted immediately upon sitting down at our chosen table by a waiter who brought us water with him, which we greatly appreciated, and got our drink order. He returned within a couple minutes with our drinks and they were made perfectly and always are. The menu is vast and we have tried most items on it without any disappointment. I highly reccomend the lobster bisque which was voted best in atlanta, another favorite of mine is the calamari because it is always perfectly fried and never chewy like most places. Don't forget to try some of their famous oysters too as they are always fresh and delicious! Parking can be difficult, but it's worth it.
