We tried to eat here, but after waiting to get a table we left after one hour. The place has a seat yourself approach, but there is no method as to first come first served. People enter from several directions and doors and anyone can grab a table at any time. Most of the waiters had long beards and long hair and none of them wore hairnets. The place did not seem clean, but the oyster platters they were bringing out looked pretty good! We doubt we will ever go back there.

Buffalo shrimp tacos were fabulous.

Great place. Great atmosphere. Customer service was just a little laisez faire but it's just part of the charm. Seafood always fresh and perfectly cooked.

Outside can stand a good washing down the bar was sticky, , food was good, just clean up. Thanks

I have been coming too The Steamhouse Lounge for years. This the first time I ve had an encounter to where I didn t enjoy the food or had too send something back. The bisque is always everything, Not sure what happened to the calamari but you can definitely taste a difference , then my crab legs came out cold and over cooked they corrected that immediately so overall the main complaint is the calamari, Hey Steam House bring back the real calamari and discontinue use of that salty bag mess.

Bad service, they didn't bring dishes, so we had to ask for them and then they didn't bring cutlery to have the mussels

This place is amazing. Food top notch! Everything from the catfish sandwich to the fish tacos!!!! The server knows his job. Trellis thank you!

Me and my husband went on a Friday night and the service was awesome. The waitress was sooooo helpful to us. This was our 1st time here and she made us feel extra special. Going back tonight for son's 19th birthday.

The lobster bisque was good but the lobster roll was a disappointment. Chewy lobster that didn't have much flavor. But if you pour the bisque on top it helps! Not worth the price however.

I actually really like this place. It reminds me of any other dive seafood place but with a cooler atmosphere. I didn't really think family fun, which was nice.

Their lobster bisque really is amazing. The sauce is sooo creamy! My bf drug me here specifically for the crab stuffed shrimp, and they were pretty awesome. They're fried so I wasn't as excited. I'd suggest them though. They're like a mini crab cake surrounded by a shrimp. We also had the shrimp and grits and the shrimp tacos. I heard the shrimp and grits was spicy but good. It's kind of a pain to eat though. The shrimp is served with the tails left on....?? I really liked the grilled shrimp tacos. I thought the Jalapeno pesto really set off the flavor.

Steamhouse is bigger than I expected, but I was disappointed the balcony wasn't great for people watching. It would be good if you wanted to grab a quick bite close to the clubs, but not right smack in the madness. Looking forward to going back on a Monday. 12.99 crab leg special! :-)

The lobster was awesome as always..needed nourishment to go to the steam room at gym per usual...again tried to get a job by supporting there product but failed to have the experience..so yeah I'm just going to enjoy the food and not go to any other seafood spot. Because you can't beat the best..but can give it a solid review when the recipe works.

Enjoyed dining on the 2nd floor deck and really liked everything I ordered. The Lobster Bisque was awesome as well as the Tuna Cheddar Melt Sandwich. We split the Chocolate Dipped Key Lime Pie which was also scrumptious! We both liked the beach atmosphere they have going on. The parking valet was super nice and took good care of our car. Thumbs up!

We had a great experience . Our waiter - Danny was awesome and very attentive! The food was perfect. We had oysters, grouper, catfish and salmon sandwich. The top of the list was the stuffed shrimp! Drinks were good and well mixed. We definitely recommend stopping in and having the food and enjoying the atmosphere. DANNY ROCKS!!

It was super fast and friendly service. The food was also outstanding! We ordered a dozen raw oysters and they were out in 3 or 4 minutes tops. We will definitely be going back as soon as possible. Had it not been raining, we would have gotten a set on their nice little deck upstairs. I would recommend this place to anybody that likes good seafood.

The service was OUTSTANDING!! Derrick the manager was AMAZING! I had a minor issue with my meal and he went over and BEYOND to make it right! The waitress Danielle was AWESOME as well! Drinks were refilled in a timely manner and she was so kind and friendly. I am all about customer service and the staff at the Steamhouse Lounge did not disappoint!! I will definitely be back!! Oh and the crab legs were DELICIOUS!!

It was ok. The food was decent at best and they seemed maybe short handed because the service could have been slightly better. Wings were just ok , the bacon burger was just ok , and the mac & chz was slightly bland. However the tempura Cauliflower was actually very good !! We didn't get refills on our waters and we were never asked would we like another round. Also when we asked for separate checks the server/ bar tender seems like she would have a very hard time trying to accommodate that request. Thought that was pretty weird.

This was my first time here and I can say it won t be my last!! Sarah was our waitress and she was outstanding she made sure she checked on us very often. The food was amazing!!

This place has ok food but a great service staff. My friends are all huge fans but I d say go for the friendly and drinks, don t get too excited about the just ok seafood.

Fast service on a Friday night. Downstairs less traffic. Lump crab cake steamed clams hush puppies lobster bisque. Everything Everytime EXCELLENT! Keep up the good work!

This place is a staple in Atlanta. I've been coming here since the turn of the century. They are known for their lobster bisque, but my favorite dish there is the seafood nachos.

We used to go there weekly when they had their Wednesday oyster special. Most of the time, the service is good here.

Shrimp basket is flavorful and delicious. Cool waiter too although I can't remember his name. Very personable.

Food was excellent and service was top notch. Overall great time.

Impressed by this little seafood place. Friendly staff the greeted you with a genuine smile and excellent service. We sat ourselves at the bar and split the bucket of oysters and the crab stuffed grouper. The wait for food was not long at all. I really enjoyed the whole vibe of this place with all their cool stuff cluttered evedywhere, kinda made me feel like I was a home. Will be a return customer for sure.

This place has some delicious food! It has a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. The prices are great and so are the drinks. I highly recommend this restaurant! It has quickly become one of my favorites.

This place is great. It is in a great location and the atmosphere is great. The server was very nice and knowledgeable. I was surprised that they had Shrimp Etouffee. Normally places that offer seafood do not offer this.

Our experience of the Oysterfest was horrible! We feel like the advertisement for the festival was a farse because it wasn't even at the restaurant, but instead massive amounts of people crammed in a gravel, mud filled parking lot. Stayed for 15 minutes to get through security, maneuvering around people. left then found the restaurant....smh. Lines for the small bathroom the entire time we were there and never saw anyone go in and clean it! Seafood had zero seasoning Adult beverages weak and too sweet!! WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

Fun atmosphere. Waiter was great, but I think the kitchen was screwed up. But our waiter made good by comping our bisque, by the way....order it, it s amazing some of the best I ve had.

Steamhouse Lounge's only virtue is nice outdoor seating. Food is poor and service hit or miss. Best to just get drinks here and eat elsewhere in midtown

There's a reason this place has a reputarion for the best Lobster Bisque in Atlanta! Great seafood and beers in a truly relaxed atmosphere. And, unlike most of Atlanta, the prices were reasonable and the food and service great!

A very good restaurant I order catfish and it was super good highly recommend this place

We drove up top the building to be greeted by valet. He politely helped us. We walked in the restaurant tho be greeted by the bartender. Smiles everywhere! We sat down and they had the TV on the Atlanta United soccer game. Got greeted by the waitress who immediately took our drink orders. The food was brought out 15 minutes after our order was placed. The food was super delicious. Me and my family demolished every morsel. It was a very nice experience with a cool vibe. I will definitely be back.

If you're looking for lobster bisque in Atlanta then this is the spot. They have a lunch special that is perfect especially if you work in the midtown area.

My wife and I got the Monday special, one pound of king crab legs plus a side. The food was terrific and the service was excellent. Friendly staff and very attentive. Highly recommend the jalapeno grits and new potatoe sides. Nice outdoor seating area too!

Oysterfeast was fun and had good food at a decent price

The best mussel's in a 4 block radius. However, the Oysters Rockafella need a little attention from Chef Gordon Ramsey. Great venue on a hot and sultry Summer day in the South.
