Great Place! Went there this afternoon for lunch with some coworkers. Very chill atmosphere and wait staff that are very friendly and go above and beyond. Though I am not a fan of seafood personally, the sandwich I had was very good and the seafood dishes looked and smelled delicious.

Its been a while since my last visit, but if you're looking for a "beach style" seafood place, then this is totally it! When I was last there, the raw oysters were cheap, big and fresh, the bucket of steamed seafood was awesome, and the decor and beach vibe was exactly what we were looking for, all in mid-town. This is a "go to" favorite, for sure!

This service was horrible it took 20 minutes for a server to come to the table I also ordered a lobster roll with lobster bisque the lobster meat was very dry and the lobster bisque had a weird smell so I will not be going back there I do not recommend this place

Love this place! Great ambiance & the Moscow Mules were perfect. Appetizers were delicious especially the Lobster Bisque & Calamari. Both hubby's got two orders of 12 Raw Oysters each. Shrimp stuffed with Crab was good. Not crazy about Shrimp & Grits. Our waiter (Terrellis) was awesome. Everyone was very nice & friendly. Valet parking was convenient & reasonable. Great Valentine's Day outing. Definitely will come back. Selina D., Decatur, GA.

Fantastic place for seafood! Went with a group of 6 people and not one of us had a complaint. The food was great, generous portions, fair pricing, good service, cant wait to go back! This is a must hit if you're looking for a traditional 'off the dock' style seafood place in Atlanta.

There's on street or valet parking. There's downstairs, upstairs and outside seating. It was a nice day outside yesterday [9.25.20] but it was already packed outside. They were also social distancing here, with masks and every other table seating. Ashley greeted us and was also our server. It was our first time there. I had the blackened salmon [they don't do mashed, baked, nor sweet potatoes] so I had fries & a salad. I didn't see too much else I was interested in. But my food was good!! I ended up taking half home because I'd had half of my coffee cake from Caribou coffee shortly before arriving there.
My sister said she likes their Fried shrimp. Our table also ordered the oyster trio appetizer [Rockefeller, Danielle & Parmesan], and the stuffed grouper with jalapeno grits. They said everything was Great! I tasted the jalapeno grits... they're Delicious, creamy and Not overly spicy, but flavorful! I'll remember them the next time!

The food was reasonably priced and the portion size was good! Everyone was friendly from the valet attendant to the staff inside.

I found this restaurant by following another local guide...

This was our first time here and I must say I was not disappointed! The food was delicious. The drinks were made how a drink should be made. Our waiter was very nice and attentive, we didn t have to wait long for anything. My son and dad raved about the chili. My son had two cups. Lol my mom was enjoying her food she barely said a word. I enjoyed everything about this place. We sat outside. The music wasn t loud like at most places you go to. I highly recommend!

This place has a very relaxed atmosphere.
Came here with my partner as well as on my own and both experiences were pleasant.
The lobster bisque was honestly the best Iv had in a very long time.
They have a couple bar options to sit at if that s what you are looking for; upstairs and down, but otherwise plenty of tables/booths to choose from as well.
This place also has ample space outside when the weather permits.
Over all a very good experience will be making this a new staple for midtown.

I like going here on a wednesday when it s $12 for a dozen of oysters. The oysters are a hit or miss. Sometimes the oysters are not well clean and other time it is. Nevertheless, it s a good price for oysters, and I hope one day the quality is consistent.

I can't say enough good about this place! The lobster bisque was amazing. Had the crab stuffed grouper that was wonderful and then sealed the deal with a piece of key lime pie!

Had a Jumbo Lump Crab Cake and Lobster Roll... Crab cake was crispy on the outside but mushy on the inside. Did not see one sign of "lump crab", overall I wouldn't recommend the crab cake. The lobster roll had "NO SEASON" what so ever!! Most of the meat was that rubbery claw meat, they say it's 1/4 of lobster meat. I would really like to see what measuring cup they're using. As much as I would like to recommend this place, unfortunately I can't. Your probably better off getting food at captain D's. Please don't waste your money!!!!

Excellent service, free valet, great drinks, great atmosphere and dessert but the food not so great. Wasn't bad but it was very bland and unseasoned. Food tasted like what I imagine hospitals feed patients on salt restrictions...

Steamhouse is rather crowded and the food wasn't the best. The server also seemed really busy and didn't come by to check on us as often as we would of liked. I like their rum punch, but all in all I don't think I'll be back to this restaurant again.

We enjoy this little dive bar, valet parking outside sitting to enjoy the evening. Nice place to stop off on the way back from the airport. Lobster Soup is very good. We usually get a quart to go.

Fresh seafood and friendly service. This was a great find. Nothing flashy just really good, fresh, straightforward seafood. Oysters and shrimp were dynamite. Also really enjoyed the laid back vibe. Wait staff was friendly and down to earth plus it boasts outdoor dining with a great view. Definitely worth a visit.

Just found out about Steamhouse today and went tonight. The food is good. I love oysters on the half shell. Looking forward to going on Wednesdays for the $7 per dozen oysters. This may be a weekly Wednesday hangout. I like the bartender/waitress (Rebecca), she did a little bit of everything. I ordered the Mahi Mahi tacos which were pretty good. The fries were really good - crispy. The tater tots are my favorite. Steamhouse is open until 2:30 a.m., which is good to hear. Not very crowded for a Friday and no long wait for our food. Also, for those romantic types, they have a few dishes to serve more than one. So if you think it's cute to share one meal across the table then you might want to give this place a try. Not badly priced at all. Last, if you are like me and have no glutimus, then the hard wood chairs will not be fun. Good thing it seems okay to stand around your table if you need to.

The building is fun and very inviting. There are a lot of options for steamed and fried seafood varieties, and the lobster bisque was as good as advertised. The oyster platter was also a table favorite. They have some daily specials and I happened to visit on Tuesday - $1.50 beer night. Only downside is that they beer is Keystone so I had one for nostalgia sake. I'll stick with the food but go for a better beer next time.

On Friday, I made the unfortunate decision to eat dinner at Steamhouse Lounge. I had the lobster roll with lobster bisque, new potatoes, and a blue moon beer. 2-3 hours after the dinner I began experiencing severe abdominal pain, side, back pain, and vommiting. Twenty-four hours of not being able to hold down broth, juice, or gatorade, I contacted the restaurant and advised the manager Derrick of the Situation. I ended up having to go to the emergency room because my symptoms would not subside. After 6 hours in the ER and receiving treatment, I was diagnosed with food poisoning. I contacted the assistant general manager Kelsey and advised her of my ER visit and diagnosis. With all the explanations of her telling me that they take extreme care to make sure everything was properly dated and stored, she paused when I mentioned the failed health inspection in 2017. I have experienced both a personal and financial inconvenience at the hands of this establishment and based on my conversation with Kelsey there is nothing that can be done unless someone else reports the same experience. Based on this recent interaction with Steamhouse Lounge it is safe to say that I will not be back.
